ZooGue VS Cruzerlite cases - Galaxy S III Accessories

So my free ZooGue cases came in today, and compared to the Cruzerlite Androdified case I received two days ago it is way better. With the Cruzerlite case, it didn't seem to nine up with the ports and mics very well. It was always a bit off, no matter how I put it on. It felt great in the hand though. With the ZooGue ones, everything lines up perfectly. It also feels great to hold in your hand.
If it was possible to get two more of the same case in different colors for free, I definitely would. It's the best slim case I've used on any device. I would definitely recommend it.
I will upload pictures of both on the phone plus the Cruzerlite on my phone as well once I find another camera to take a picture of it with. Before that though, here's a picture of the cases themselves side by side.

how's the zoogue going in and out of pockets, does it stick and try to pull the pocket out with it?
thanks

Nope. It goes in and out of pockets quite easily. It's not too slick, but definitely does not stick to the pocket.

The ZooGue case also does not collect dust or lint. (Or else I don't have any in my pockets.)

I got a green one today and I like it
Now let's see how is it going to be in a week or two
Not bad for the case that I only payed shipping

I got mine today. Wouldn't walk across the street to buy it. I get the deal, you pay for shipping and think you're getting something for free. In reality, shipping is more than the product costs.
My review.

For me it was about $6 or $7 for two to ship. That's about half the price of one.

Lol. Let's be realistic here, cases cost <$5 to make.
The ZooGue case looks like it's only worth $.10 at most.

Does this cover will protect the screen if my phone falls ? I mean i got the official samsung one and it cover the screen. I got a glass screen protector too. I just want to know if i put my phone in my little bag or in my pocket, will it scratch ?

I got a ZoooGue for me and my wife and I actually like it. It is slim and has the right amount of grip. It fits very well and of the 4 cases that I have (including a Diztronic), it is the one on my phone right now.
I got my wife a white one for her white phone and it looks great.

I don't have a screen protector, so I don't know. I trust the Gorrila Glass enough to not use a screen protector. I never used a screen protector on my S2 E4GT either, and I never even got a scratch on it.

My ZooGue case came in yesterday and honestly it's worth way more than what I bought it for. I highly recommend this to anyone. Not bulky at all or too small. I might rock with this case for a very long time. I got the Red one if that helps.

Do you guys think that it s better than a neo hybrid

Both are great. Only flaw on the neo is the button stiffness. Hard to give the win to one or the other. But this one has better grip than the neo, when picking the phone up.

The biggest thing was that the zoogue didn't have cutouts...which I'm a big fan off. The Diztronic seemed to be a better fit in general...the zoogue was harder to get one but once one it didnt seem to be as snug as the Diztronic. But @ 2.50 each...its the best bang for your buck

Review generic otterbox clone

Got this off Ebay for $8.88 shipping included. Works great makes function buttons a little harder to use. But overall for $9.00 bucks this is as good or better than otterbox.
Also has kickstand on back cover
Seller shipped fast. They are currently sold out but I posted the link for reference. http://www.ebay.com/itm/220967361850#ht_2947wt_952
I wouldn't really call them an Otterbox "clone" when these were out long before the Otterbox cases were.

I need a screen protector that covers the entire front of the phone, so that nothing is exposed. I work machining metal and would easily mess up any uncovered area. I'm still using my Otterbox defender for work, I want to use this case at all times but not until I find a screen protector that covers the entire front of the screen.

This. Aside from the average screen protector provided, this case is sexier, thinner, and more ergonomic in my hands than any of the otterboxs. The smooth matte finish is fantastic with great grips on the side to make sure you have a nice grasp of your phone.
I think eventually, since this screen protector does not curve at the edges, nor does it completely cover the screen, I will purchase a higher grade protector for that final bit of comfort. This is a fantastic case that guards the phone at every angle.
My heart still wants a UAG though..

Best bumper case for S3?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good bumper case. I did a search but havent read much on the forums here. A quick ebay search brings up many options, and I was wondering if anyone has a particular one they like. I've looked at the draco bumper case, but I'm not spending 70$ for a case.
I would prefer a pretty solid feeling bumper that hopefully has a little better grip than the current phone.
Thanks
I have aluminium bumpers, but I don't think they do anything for "grip". A silicone / TPU type bumper might be able to do that.
You get what you pay for. I got a $13 aluminium bumper case from eBay. I'm happy with it, but it's not perfect with concerns to quality control - and I really doubt any at that price-range are.
However I think $70 on a case is reasonable to spend if you can afford it. I mean, that's like 1/10th of the phone's original price - pretty reasonable to me.

How's the screen protection with that one?
If it was easy you'd of hired the guy at Home Depot to to it.
It as a lip of 2-3 mm on the edge, not much but it holds on the phone very firmly. I dropped my phone a few times now on stone (outside) and wood (inside.) But it was just fine. Altough it always depends on luck.
On a side note, i have installed the spigen screen protector and after 2 months it still doesnt have a scratch.

Protection wise, are aluminum bumpers just for looks or do they actually protect the phone at all? It seems like hits would just shoot right through instead of being absorbed like a rubber bumper.

There wouldn't be any shock / impact absorption. Looks only with a drop in reception. Foam is too thin. The phone would most likely touch the aluminum when dropped. Unless it had the sturdier stoppers.
For the authentic Spigen bumper is it a one piece?

I "made" one for the extended battery (and case) that I have - from a 3EUR rubber case (normal size) which could not fit the extended case in the original form, but after some cutting around I was left with a decent bumper - not perfect (and the "finish" is poor since this was a first-time experiment) - but usable

What's interesting is that I have the exact opposite complaint about my spigen bumper. I bought it the same time that I bought a leather holster and the button is way to easy to press. When I put it in the holster it barely touches the power button but it's so easy to push that the holster makes it turn off.

In my situation cautious yes. I work in a really dusty enviroment and I use the case only in the workplace. And I got my earlier Sony's screen broken because of no case in the workplace....
I don't use this case in my freetime. It's just too bulky to have in your pocket and phone is a little more difficult to use.
There's couple disadvantages in the case:
- you can't press the powerbutton on the rightside. It's blocked because the hinges of the case are on the right side.
- I have had problems with the voice. I need to take the phone out of the case when talking with someone because they can't hear almost at all for some reason. I have not researched do anyone else have this problem and can I do something for it
I have also a bike clip for the case. I have not tested it yet (I have some plans to use the phone as a cycling computer in the summer time).
I'm little struct between this or Griffin Survivor (I have them both). Griffin Survivor is much better in almost every way (belt clip in Griffin case is really good) if you don't need water proofness but it's much harder to put the phone to the case and take if off.
Got this case to use on my bike: http://www.topeak.com/products/bags/smartphone_drybag_5_bk
