Pete's repo init used for this build:
Code:
repo init -u git://github.com/peteralfonso/platform_manifest.git -b jb
What Works:
MMS
4G
180 deg. compass fix (MMuzzy)
What Doesn't
Nothing that I know of
NOTE: I compiled whatever Pete has in his repo. I am NOT fixing his code, nor adding/upgrading to the ROM. I am not an Android developer, I compiled the ROM for personal use. I am sharing for those that would also like to check it out.

If you're interested, I have a build compiling for wingray (Xoom) as well. If it compiles and tests well, I'll be posting it in that forum.

This. Playing around with it, he hasn't done as much with it as he did on ICS (yet, anyway). The reboot menu is there and he added AVRCP 1.3. The status bar toggles, over clocking, etc. from ICS are not included thus far.
One thing I really wanted was the "mark all read" button in the e-mail app like he had in ICS.

Amazing thanks!

This is both unofficial and official. It's unofficial for the reasons you posted above. However, it's official in the sense that Pete asked for devs for the other devices to compile the ROM for the respective communities since he doesn't have the devices nor the time to do it himself. In other words, don't expect Pete himself to compile BB for Toroplus.
Those of you that may have been waiting for the wingray version will be disappointed. The system image is too large for the device. I will see if there might be some tweaks I can do easily to fix this but for now, this version is on hold indefinitely.

that's a serious, and odd, shame! thanks so much for trying, though. i just run my xoom on stock, it seems best for now.
btw, what are the odds that we're from the same town and have the same devices?

Hold -up on the flashing back I believe there is a setting for software keys as well as a mod for them super busy Atm get right back as soon as possible
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531222
It has many options for the soft keys and more, I still believe there is a setting baked into the ROM though just cant flash Atm waiting on calls

No need for apologies. The answer is you would actually have to flash it and see or read the change log or cherry picks in this case. I can tell you the team @ Euroskank turn out the quality kind of ROMs you will always come back to after getting your flashing fix LOL. They Cherry pick the official CM9 builds and put only the updates you would want staying fast and light with incredible user mods and options
just an FYI, toroplus device was just added to the CM mainline at 7EST this morning, so there might be a few quirks left to iron out
EDIT: fixes are being merged for toroplus, another build is on the way

Meh its all CM9 with a few user specific tweaks as far as ROMs go. Need a good stock rom with some system tweaks and some themeing maybe a custom kernel.

I've been setting up my laptop to compile kernels, however I'm not an expert and I was apart from the scene til I got the 300. What version of Ubuntu is best to compile kernels? I got 12.4 set up however I thought I remember a while back people preferred 10.10 or something.
If you could get loop into the kernel that would be awesome. I was trying to install Ubuntu on the tab via a app on the market and it seems the cm9 kernel doesn't have loop so I couldn't get it going. Didn't try the Asus stock ROM yet. Don't have high hopes though.
Other than that the only other tweaks I can think of at the moment would be smartass governor and HAVS, if that's possible. Either way a custom kernel would be bomb.

For new Slim users,
usual way to flash is
1) d2att.zip
2)common x.x.zip
3)any extras you want ( google now, extras.zip, face unlock). all the details over at slimroms.net.
for 2.2: NFC is not working i think, can't test it here. but i have a patch if somebody can test it. cheers.
Edit: Patch seems to work atleast on d2vzw, pls test and report. it's along with the rest of the d/l files.
Edit2: if screen flickers, increase min CPU to 484 or disable hw overlay in settings/developer options.
Edit3: Don't flash another gapps, common includes it and it has multi dpi play store. If you flash another one and apps are incompatible, don't report here. You can grab from vending.apk and googleservicesframework.apk and put it in another gapps, flash but no support on that one

I think he means that all roms using Cm10 sources aren't working with the "MHL to HDMI" cable. Its something in the CM10 code thats causing the phones to go into a reboot loop, Miui has cm10 sources in it but I have no clue why the cable is working on that rom and not the others.
But i'm about to go test it out now.

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)
Thanks to:

- Team KANG
- Team Douche
- Rohan32
- Paranoid Android Team

Flash normal jb gapps of your choice. These are recommended: http://d-h.st/1C0 4.2 gapps by KillDroidHack.
Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:

This is not a feature that is available right now, only for phone calls. You will have to wait until AOKP merges it in, and PACman is updated.

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Sounds good to me. Except for the connection.

Yeah I just noticed that too . If Talk worked this would be the perfect ROM for me.

Can someone upload a fixed camera app or is it fixed in the latest build?

Simple, sweet, and to the point. I thought I would bring you guys some AOKP nightlies for our Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 since we are not an officially supported device.
Now that I've modified the trees to build for our device, I will work on getting official support and becoming our maintainer next.
ENJOY!!

I recommend these : http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23156208500212107 for now. I'll be making a super debloated package soon that should be around 30 MB since you can grab everything else from the market
Seriously CNexus, you f'n rock so damn hard right now!
Let me know how it's running for you guys
I am going to give it a tray also. Miss me some AOKP from other phones in the past. Great roms usually

You ninja quoted, I had edited my post already lol.
And if you guys want a pure AOKP rom with no changes, I can do that easily. Already have everything synced to my build server, just need to lunch for d2att and done
I'll get on that as soon as I finish building an updated 4.2.2 AOKP for the d2spr

@CNexus so far so good bud. Only issue I have found is lean kernel and dkp destroy the boot ani and the display like the blues are yellow and the background is a glitchy mess. I'm assuming they need to be updated since they're about a week or so old but giving you the heads up.
