I don't have the phone, but is your 77gb from a Samsung device already? When I got my Note 10.1, I got 50gb free. Wondering if that's only 1 Samsung device that you get that. If its not, try signing out and then back in. Did you sign in when you setup the phone?

I didn't receive it either. I have gotten quite a big of space because of Samsung gadgets.

UPDATE: I had already completed the 5 steps long ago, and wasn't getting my free 50gb with my N2. However, I just enabled photo uploading, and the extra space just turned up!

started doing all the "get started" things and got a mail and now i got 50.75gb storage.
strange though that i had to start doing stuff for it to tell me that.

You have to do the 5 getting started steps and make sure you turn on photo uploading at least initially.

I lost my 50gb from dropbox. Did anyone else lose theirs?

I noticed this morning that I dont have 50gb anymore from dropbox. Im wondering if its just me or if dropbox caught on to it.
I still have mine
How long have you had it? Was only valid for 2yrs if I recall.
From S3 promo? I still have mine. Not sure what you mean "if Dropbox caught on to it." It was a promo offered by Samsung/Dropbox, so I'm pretty sure Dropbox was aware of it.
If you log into your Dropbox account, click your name in the top right, click settings, and then click the Bonus Space tab, you can see everything that has affected your space there.

Not all the carriers (AT&T, and Verizon didn't iirc) signed on for the Dropbox promo, so the K00l Kiddies tried a dumb "hack" to get the 50G that dropbox can take back whenever they want. (they've taken it back before).

Yep, I got mine by installing DietICS ROM, and just noticed the 50gb is gone.
I never bothered with it as I have 50gb from Box when I bought my Touchpad. Was Leary of trying to jerk the system as I had a few people I know lose all their stored data when drop box caught em.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
I am pretty sure they caught onto it. The same thing happened with the HTC promotion that offered dropbox space. Someone extracted the Dropbox APK and hacked it to work on any phone thereby giving you the promo space. A few months later everyone who used it had the space removed. Its very possible that they caught onto it. Diet ICS was/is based off the Rogers stock so by installing it, you'd get the 50GB of space inadvertantly since Rogers SGS3 was valid for the 50GB promo.
Dropbox must have found a way to determine what phone you actually have based on your IMEI possibly and removing the space like they did for the HTC hack

Lost mine, asked me to fill out questions to keep it. I did that then it went back down to 2 GB.
Well, i just pay the $10 every month and have no worries about it being taken back. And they just doubled my space to 100gb.
I did mine when it was first announced about the Samsung+Dropbox deal .. at that time I was still using the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket .. got the 50GB .. bought the Samsung Galaxy S III when it came out .. and still as of today, my 50GB is still there

No limit to it as far as I know. Ive done files as big as 2gb at a time.
And for anyone on att/verizon who's lookin to get it Ive included an attachment. not my work but dont remember where i found it. will work on any phone. Unlink any accounts from dropbox prior to flashing. Worked back when I used it, Imagine it still does
Well I work for sprint and to get the 48gb you have to go to the website and do free space. you have to complete 5 out of 7 to get the 48gb then its only good for two year after the two years you still have the 50gb but can only upload and download up to 2gb . The 48gb will be there but can't do nothing with it . Its just free space .almost like dead weight . So as long as its not over 2gb you could download anything from that 48gb .. hope you understand .. for more info go to the website under q&a .. there's more answers .. have fun with the 50gb .

If you have a gmail account, it already does that, sorta. Photos will back up to G+/Picasa, apps are "backed up" with your play account, though their settings aren't. SMS won't get backed up. I usually just install titanium backup and have it do a full backup every friday night. That gets everything.
How do I go to the top of a webpage when I'm at the bottom of the page with a single touch/click?

Hi,
When you scroll down in Dolphin HD browser, you normally get an arrow pointing up on the bottom right of the screen. Touch it to go up to top.

+1 I received it once for my Note 10.1 but nothing for Note II!!! Disappointing! I did pay money for both of them!
If you have already claimed the offer from a previous Samsung device and wonder why you don't or have double the space here is your answer.
If you log on to your desktop version and go to your settings then bonus space , you will see that you already claimed the Samsung promotion, the promotion isn't model specified, its pretty much the original "Samsung Promotion" you received covers all the Samsung devices you activate. Each user is only eligible for one Samsung Promotion of this type for a single account.
https://www.dropbox.com/help/338
If you did get the bonus promo on your previous device and your new device don't get comfy cause you wont keep it for long. Dropbox is good good/fast at claiming double offers back.

So if I availed of the bonus space on my s3 and log in on my note 2 years later then it will give me another 50gb for 2 years again?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
No you won't. Blah I edited that part out. Everything is explained in the dropbox website link I attached regarding the Samsung Promo. After the promo expires unless they run a new promo of some sort you automatically will be downgraded according to their promo terms. I will be claiming my Note II bonus space on a different email account and will just use shared folders between my two dropbox accounts.

I just my 50GB of Dropbox!

About 30 minutes ago i received an email saying that I received 50GB of Dropbox for owning my "Samsung device". Since the only Samsung device I own is my AT&T galaxy note 2, its a pretty good indication that AT&T is not as greedy as I once thought it was. Want a nice little Sunday surprise. Anyone else get their free space?

Got my 48 GB last night
I just flashed the Jedi-X3.3 ROM on my phone and got the dropbox guru email last night giving me 53 GB total. I was disappointed when I read on dropbox's website that AT&T customers would not qualify for the free space promotion, but flashing the ROM seemed to get around that.
Flashed miscom's N7105 rom on and upgraded!
is this somehow tied to your phone? can i unlink and link to another dropbox and get another 50 GB?

[Q] Dropbox 50GB

I was reading around a few places and I saw that Dropbox were offering 48GB extra with certain Samsung devices. I've looked at https://www.dropbox.com/help/297/en which tells all about it. I've had the phone for about 10 days, it came with the Dropbox app preinstalled which is required for the promo, as is carrier participation.
So my question is, is the Sprint S3 currently valid for this promo? Also I've read a few things that free space can be stacked. I've never had a Dropbox account before. What other ways are there of getting additional storage space?
Thanks
Well you should have the promo then. The only way to get additional 'free' dropbox space is that is people install dropbox on a PC [mobile doesn't count], from you link. You can get the link from the app / the website.
The 48gb is good for 2 years; when its up, you don't loose any files consumed within the 48gb, but you won't be able to add things more than you space minus the 48gb from the promo.
I signed up for dropbox and when I added the phone, it added 48g. It does say it wxpires at the end of 2013. Which would be 1 year. I also added 500m for a referral, 250m for taking the tour and doing a few things, and 3g for uploading 3g worth of pics and vids using the automatic camera upload.special going on now.... great program by the way! Anyone want my code so I get some more space? Lol
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
1. Install it on your Device
2. Take the tour
3. Install it on your Computer
4. Referral someone
5. Upload something( I think)
6. Make something public.
7. If you have an aditional computer install on it too.
48gb for 2 years and like 2.5 for finish the others steps.

I'm up to 76 because i used to have an evo 4g lte and it has a 24 or 25 gb promo. So when i got this phone, it did indeed stack them. Not that i would recommend this, but i know someone that just kept saying up virtual pcs and using fake email addresses to fake refer people and it worked every time. You can do it for an additional 16gb. But that means you have to do it 32 times.

Well I got my tablet today and linked the pre-installed Dropbox app with my account, but no extra GBs were given. I did however use a Galaxy Note 10.1 at Best Buy on Sunday to login to my account and it gave me 48GB, and that was only for a year. So now I'm at 99.88 GB. :victory:
I'm at 200gb and change right now from registering on gs3, 2 note 2s and a gt 2 10.1. So yes you get additional space for each device that's eligible for the promo.
