I only have a LEO512 HD2 and my ICS ROM was installed on NAND only.
So I don't have enough free space to accommodate both system and data on NAND at the same time via upgrade.
I may start removing some stuff next time.

After a long exhausting day in office, nothing could make me happy then a Jelly Bean ROM from Tytung... long live our beloved HD2 :good::fingers-crossed:

Can some1 give me a link to a tutorial how AROMA installer works?
Do i need a a2sd script when choosing option 2?

I don't know how 'int2ext+' works.
I tried NAND with DataOnEXT, it occupies about 310 MB system space on NAND and 100MB data space on SD-EXT4 after first boot.

Please make both Primary FAT32 partition and Primary EXT4 partition (1GB is recommended) on your SD card when choosing options 2 or 3.
Nothing else is needed.

Sick of CM in m-deejays Gingerbread, so will give this one a try.
Been trying to get my own Gingerbread build working, but haven't managed yet
there is a fix for usb and 15fps, search in nand android thread... or lookup mdj's gingerbread thread, he also included those fixes in his build
is AVRCP working on this build?
If your nexus build is anything to go by then this is going to kick some gingerbread butt!
Will see if I can get my old hd2 to fire and do some testing for you, its not very well though, hence it being my old hd2 lol
Nice one tytung
Currently Running Tytung's NAND Nexus V1.9b.

Can somebody explain btw why this DEV is requesting CWM 3.x.x. instead of 4.x.x.x?
I can't find any other CWM than 4.x.x. What's the main issue with the latest version of this?

MAGLDR kernel:NexusHD2-Kernel_2.6.32.15_tytung_ics_r1-MAGLDR-update.zip. (Flash this new kernel if you are using MAGLDR.)
Installations:
Please use at least 190MB system partition and at least 2MB cache partition.
Please refer to ksubedi's HD2 NAND Toolkit and/or mskip's guide.
Cache partition (/dev/block/mtdblock4) is only used by CWM.
Cache partition size is not important because the data partition (/dev/block/mtdblock5) is used as the cache space when running Android.
If your HD2 has bad NAND blocks, you may need larger partitions.
Wipe
Wipe Data/Factory Reset while doing a fresh install.
Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache while upgrading and wanting to retain data.
Flash the ROM.
MAGLDR: Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta10.zip, then reboot.
cLK : Flash NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich_Beta10.zip and the cLK kernel, then reboot.
Flash ICS_Camera_HAL_for_2.6 kernel_(credit_to_rapmv78).zip for a better camera. (Please visit his thread for more info.)
Tips:
Enable/Disable the virtual soft keys (i.e. the on-screen virtual button):
Flash framework-res.apk_v403_without_softkeys.zip (Default in the ROM.)
Flash framework-res.apk_v403_with_softkeys.zip (To fix the overlay of the softkeys and the keyboard, install ICS keyboard from the Market or get the apk here.)
Two tutorials about how to enlarge your internal storage.

Whatever to SD
About the mobile data connection types: RMNET V.S. PPP.
Bootloader MAGLDR supports RMNET and PPP. I set RMNET as default for MAGLDR ROM since beta 9 because stock Android only supports RMNET.
Bootloader cLK only supports PPP.
RMNET is more stable than PPP. (Some PPP users have data drop issues.) However PPP may be faster.
Flash RMNET_to_PPP_update.zip if you prefer PPP on MAGLDR.

OP is updated.
cLK_kernel_for_ICS.zip.
Whoa, the ICS ports are really starting to roll out now
This is very good so far, especially for a first alpha! Thanks tytung!
To the person asking about performance, it's pretty good. There's certainly some choppy transitions at times, but it's definitely usable.
One thing I've noticed is that the keyboard is cut off by the on screen buttons.
If CLK was tried, would PPP be automatically utilized? If so, maybe someone tries that and see if data is any better. Either way though, very nice work . Need sound though , and data . Cant wait though, will probably try this out THANK YOU TYTUNG!
So quick! I'm amazed.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using xda premium
wow
Well, I tried it. Very satisfied
3G/Data works fine for me.
Transitions are a bit choppy.
No Sound
No Gapps
Bottom buttons covers the keyboard.
Lots of battery drain
BUT... I love it. I suggest everyone to try it. Good work!!
Thanks!

Flash framework-res-apk_v403cm9_v1.3_without_softkeys.zip if you DON'T want the virtual soft keys (default in this ROM).
Included rapmv78's camera_01302012-signed.zip to support the camera panorama mode and fix the Gallery FC. (Credits to rapmv78)
Included lights.htcleo.so_from_Gpc_GB_ROM.zip to support the blinking amber light when getting a notification. (Credits to gpc)
Updated to Google Maps v6.2.0.
Moved Google Maps from system app to user app to save system space.
V1.2 (Jan. 21, 2012)
Included wpa_supplicant_v0.8.x_adhoc_update.zip to support Ad-Hoc WiFi network.
Upgraded BCM4329 firmwares (fw_bcm4329.bin and fw_bcm4329_apsta.bin) to v4.218.248.23 to fix the "black screen of death" for some users.
Removed acdb (Audio Configuration DB) firmwares (default_att.acdb and default_france.acdb) to fix the in-call echo for some users. (No echo in my HD2 even if these files are there.)
Fixed MMS blurry pics (changed UA from Passion to NexusOne).
Updated to the latest hosts file (January-18-2012) for blocking ads.
Updated to Google Maps v6.1.1.
Removed talkback.apk to save system space. Please install the latest version from the Market if required.
Removed Android Terminal Emulator (Term.apk and libjackpal-androidterm3.so) to save system space. Please install the latest version from the Market if required.
V1.1 (Jan. 15, 2012)
ROM is built from the new source code.
Enabled CRT-off animation in default.
Added CM FileManager.apk.
Fixed the IME dictionary issues in the v1 ROM by including LatinImeGoogle.apk. (I included it in AOSP beta 10, but not in CM9 v1.)
Updated camera libs from rapmv78 to support camcorder. (Camcorder is still buggy and slow.)
Updated files: hosts and build.prop.
Updated to Google Maps v6.1.0.
Downgraded the BCM4329 firmware from v4.218.248.23 to v4.218.248.18 for better WiFi compatibility for some SIM card related country code issue. (The drawback is that I saw some error messages in logcat because the firmware version is mismatched with the kernel bcm4329 driver. It seems not to affect WiFi for me.)
Removed Google Music and included the original Music app.
Included new kernel tytung_ics_r1. Main changes compared to my r14 kernel are as follows.
fixed wired headphones for ICS. (Credits to zivan56.)
changed VM_MAX_READAHEAD values to 1024 kbytes.
backported xt_qtaguid and xt_quota2 to support data usage.
backported bcm4329 WiFi driver from tuna 3.x kernel. (i.e. v4.218.248.23)
improved the flashlight's ICS compatibility.
added InteractiveX CPU governor.
added smartAssV2 CPU governor.
backported kgsl GPU driver from msm-3.0 kernel. (new in r1)
improved the data transfer speed of the SD card almost twice. (about 8MB/s write and 10MB/s read using a class 6 SD) (new in r1)
V1.0 (Jan. 9, 2012)
Initial release. My first CM9 ROM.
Fresh install is recommended.
dling will test it later
if long push back to exit can use it'll very suprice me

Because personally I don't like my AOSP ROM (i.e NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta10) has modified non-AOSP features (e.g. six bar signal and 3-way lockscreen) by the Evervolv team. (I still thank to them, BTW.)
And it's time-consuming to remove those features from the source code.
At the moment, I found that the current CM9 is still similar to AOSP, so I decide to compile it and try it. Then I decide to share it.
I won't compete with anyone.

It works.
But you need to enable it from Settings -> Developer -> Keep app back button
And the a2sd?
How does it run compared to your NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta10 rom?
Maybe more importantly: On which one will you be focusing more?

You may try it. From samuaz's thread.
Code:
to activate the a2sd type in the terminal:
a). su
b). a2sd reinstall
c). a2sd cachesd (to move the Dalvik cache to ext)
d). a2sd zipalign
Thanks for yet another great rom! Can this be considered as an upgrade or update from your aosp beta 10 series?

My Special thanks to marc1706, Nikez, Securecrt, chautruongthinh, gilbert32, Robbie P, HypoTurtle , Daekin, walter79, for their recent support on kernel 3.0.xx and ROM
ROM uses new kernel 3.0.101 with ION.
All the not working is related to kernel, not ROM..
This ROM is mainly for testing.
Kernel features:
• Updated to 3.0.101
• ION
• CPU Governors: Smartassv2, Ondemand, Performance, Interactive
• IO Schedulers: Noop, Deadline, Row, cfq, bfq (default), sio
• Bcmdhd wifi drivers
• pmem camera (works with newer aosp camera)
Whats working:
• Phone
• Audio
• SMS
• Data: 3G/HSDPA
• USB Mass Storage
• Notification lights
• Wi-Fi
• Camera (New 4.4.4)
• Camcorder
• Panorama
• 720p Video Playback
• GPS/AGPS
• Wifi tethering (should work havent tested)
Not Working/Bugs:
• Booting from wince/haret
• rmnet on magldr (Using PPP for data in magldr)
• Native USB Tethering or using 3rd party app
• BT tethering (should work havent tested)
• battery indicator (may be still havent tested) Nobody complained so assuming it is fixed
• adb on windows PC's
• art
• turning off gps when wifi is on causes reboot fixed
Porting
• Kindly do not port any system files in your ROM, you can use the kernel and its module though.
Support
• If you have a problem and want to post it please give us mininmum details such as Tmous1024 or EU448, MAGLDR or CLK, Nand, Data2Ext, NativeSD, System partition.
• Also giving us logcats would be helpful
• This is an unofficial ROM so do not post any queries or question about this rom in cm's thread/site.
• Please dont post regarding any fucntion that is not working which has already been mention on the main thread
DOWNLOAD CM11_mac4a Updated Nov 05 2014 > Read logs
Installation Tips
• System partition size 365MB
• Boot partition size 11MB for MAGLDR bootloader and 5MB for CLK bootloader (Credits Robbie)
• First boot may take around 10-15 min
• Once you see language screen let it settle for 3mins, do not touch the screen.
• Enable developers setting by tapping repeatedly 10 times on Setting > About Phone > Build Number
• You can adjust animation as you like in developers setting but Just make sure you have Animation Duration Scale set to 0.5 Anything below 0.5 may cause display glitches
• Enable Settings > Developers Option > Force Gpu rendering
• you may need to Get rooted by Setting > Developers Option > Root accesss > select "apps" or "apps and adb"
Please volunteer as this is a newer kernel so I need to know which installation method boots and which doesnt boot, so that I can try to fix it for
also kindly give the following details below,
• HD2 type: EU (448MB) or Tmous(1024MB)
• Type of installation: NativeSD, Nand, Data2ext
• Bootloader: cLK or Magldr
• Recovery type and version
• Radio
• Partition size : boot, system, data, cache, sd-ext, sdcard
• Type of sdcard
• Type of battery: Original hd2 or extended battery
• kernel logs (kmsg) and logcat if possible ( if kernel wont boot, you wont be able to get logcat but if you have a working NativeSD ROM you can get the kernel logs (kmsg)
How? If kernel hangs during boot, open the battery cover, use a pen or something and hit the red reset button (do not remove battery as if battery is removed you will loose the kernel logs) now when the device reboots boot into the working nativesd rom and then open any root explorer and copy last_kmsg in proc folder. (/proc/last_kmsg) then past it to the sdcard and upload to website. alteratively you can do "adb shell cat proc/last_kmsg" from you computer with the usb cable connected and upload the contents
Note: This Kernel and ROM are ION based unlike other ROM/kernel so now that has been published are PMEM based
So this kernel is not compatible with any other ROM's, so do not waste your time trying
Also this ROM is not compatible with any other kernels, so again do not waste your time trying
I have many user doing this an saying it is not working so I have to mention this over here before any else tries
IF YOU LIKED THE ROM PLEASE HIT THANK BUTTON BELOW

• Updated CM
• Fixed GPS/AGPS (big thanks and credits to tytung, for sharing his gps work on github
• Fixed Camcorder and 720p playback (big thanks and credits to tytung, without him making it working first I would never had attempt to compile camcorder and 720p, also Gangster41 and KonstaT )
CM11_mac2a Download
• Reduced system size so that EU Nand users dont have too much problem . Replace Latin_ime.apk with GoogleKeyboard.apk, Replace Nova Launcher with Trebuchet Launcher (reduced 20MB)
CM11_mac2 Download
• Updated CM and Gapps
• Compile using JustArchi toolchain Linaro 4.7 optimise
• Fixed Bluetooth
CM11_mac1 Download
• Initial Release
• kernel x11
• This kernel was build on evervolvs 7x30 3.0.101 as base and porting commits from marc1706
• Apart from what marc already fixed on kernel 3.0.16 the following was fixed
• Compilation on using linaro 4.9
• USB detection for battery charger
• Used older regulator, seems to help PM during suspend
• Fix supsend on clk due to boot vector
• Power down of device
• Enabled HD2 offmode alarm (not tested)
• Data: Earlier data was working on using rmnet on magldr and not on clk (ppp) and also had lot battery drain. Now data works on clk using ppp with minimal battery drain but breaks rmnet.

Thank you for your great work on HD2.
Does this ROM work in NativeSD?
What about Android L On HD2?

Yes it does work on NativeSD,
No source for android L
Seems so cool... Time to try it..
Thanks macs18max
NativeSD shuts itself down after bootanimation; magldr, Xylograph edited 4ext recovery, second partition ext4 ~900mb free before install, no adb so no log, have attached dmesg.
Will backup other stuff and re-format ext4 and try again:fingers-crossed:
Edit; was using extended battery, boots ok with standard battery.
wow ... awesome !!!
i will test it ...
And certainly,
I'm waiting for the next updates
thanks :good:
Thanks for this rom and kernel, i just installed it and so far so good, it's pretty stable for now, no more sleep-of-death problems like on your old Evervolv ION build.
BTW i don't know if anyone mentioned this but if you turn force wallpaper scrolling on in Nova launcher you get buttery smooth launcher performance.
This trick works across all JB and KK builds (works on old kernels as well).

Can you post your install method, thanks.
Edit; sometimes i am really dumb, i was using an extended battery for my previous post, and forgot that these have been giving problems with 3.0 kernels
booting and all seems good for now. Will see how it goes

Nice find... Thought new drivers would have better charging support, but I guess not.. When I have time I'll see if I can use the older charger.
Does .35 and .32 kernel works well with extended battery?
Can somebody test the following things on this ROM? (No need for one user test all, just test once functionality and report your findings)
--Battery Life
--Wifi Tether: Native and 3rd party app (Try differnet configurations in 3rd party app if tether doesnt work)
--USB Tether: Native and 3rd party app (Try differnet configurations in 3rd party app if tether doesnt work)
--GPS... You will have to port files from Tytungs cm11 and set permission and reboot. You will need the following files.
system/lib/hw/gps.htcleo.so
system/lib//libgps.so
system/lib/librpc.so
system/etc/gps.conf
I think these files should be enough.
Please attach dmesg and logcat if possible. Thanks
I have 2 users cannot boot into nand or data2ext.
Anyone else have this problem?
I cannot test Nand or data2ext due to bad block.

Same problem here.
The HD2 stuck at GOGOGO.
I am using the EU with MAGLDR 1.13.
:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:Excellent, spasibo.zhdem continue to phone was for everyday use.
Now I will check in NativeSD
i think magldr nand only users need to increase boot partition to 10mb (zImage=3.1 + initrd.gz=6.35 ==9.45mb)
magldr nand with dataonext users need to increase boot partition to 11mb (zImage=3.1 + initrd.gz=7.1 ==10.23mb)
clk users should be ok with 5mb, from OP;
"• Boot partition size 8MB for MAGLDR bootloader and 5MB for CLK bootloader"
ADB still not working for me, perhaps the iSerial 0123456789ABCDEF line needs to be put in "on boot" in init.htcleo.usb.rc as in this post
Native wifi tether connects but no data transferred. Couldn't get barnacle wifi tether to even connect. may be due to iSerial empty, not sure.
Rom is really fast and smooth:good::good::good:

Dammn!! Sorry guys... Silly me I only counted the initrd,gz size and said 8MB lol....
Robbie is correct.. We should use 10 - 11MB for MAGLDR boot
Thanks Robbie
Thanks, Renoiser just PMed me (<10 posts, can't post in dev thread) to say dataonext is working with 12mb boot.
Do you want a q&a/t thread set up for this rom?
Edit; i got adb to work by manually editing /sys/class/android_usb/android0/iSerial using cm file manager, it doesn't like being edited, but managed to make it have CDEF in it. Doesn't persist after reboot. need to edit the initrd.gz(s) as HypoTurtle did in my previous quoted post.
tried barnacle and native wifi tethering again, no joy with either.
Also tried to switch on native usb tethering, but it wouldn't switch on. i never use it anyway.
Same for bluetooth tethering, wouldn't switch on and i never use it.
have attached log and dmesg
Thanks for your work.
Can you upload kernel source ? (GPL)
How did you fixed mobile data?
