Longpress the back key. Its used for multiscreen, and you enable/disable via longpress of back softkey.

Oh my, thank you so much! I was going crazy trying to get rid of it!

Does it have a real name? How do you customize the apps in the tray.

You can even move it to the bottom...

Its the multi view tray and can be edited for approved apps that work with it if you scroll to the bottom and find the edit button

(edit: If you download the file for the xoom, there is a txt file with al code that was changed.)

i wish I could help because I am holding off updating until there is a way to hide the bar. I can't stand that bar.
+1
+1 For me.
i'm interested to ....
is there a way to set the home button to toggle (hide/unhide) the statusbar? it would be nice to just press the home button and hide/unhide the statusbar.
That would be a great mod!

maybe our developers in xda can try working on this. it would be a big help to get fullscreen when we want to by just simply pressing the home button.
now that we have root the old method should be doable?

I tried the old method... but no luck. (hide honey bar, gesture control lite)
nothing is working..
Update's regarding this topic?
GestureControl Lite root works in ICS.

Longpress Tips

When you long-press the shortcuts in the notification bar, it takes you directly to the settings for that function.
If you have a pattern lock set up, if you hold the last dot the 4 lockscreen shortcuts pop up.
If you guys find other shortcuts lg has put in, please post.
I'm trying the lock screen thing and it isn't working

When performing your unlock gesture, hold down on the last dot. The OP didn't mean the corner dot (unless thats the last dot in your gesture of course)
OHHH!!!! Wow that is sick!!! Thanks for clearing things up for me.
Edit: Still amazed by the pattern lockscreen gesture. If this isn't part of AOSP or Cyanogenmod, I think it should be. This makes opening apps a lot faster while still keeping your phone safe. Gotta say that LG has really impressed by this simple modification.
Honestly i prefer it to be the other way around - lock screen shortcuts, then gesture unlock. But glad this exists for our phone.

[Request] Multi window button in status bar

Hi, ladies and fellas. Is there any way to implement multi window button to status bar? I'm running Disaster ROM 11 and can't find any manual for this. I found this button in framework-res.apk or systemui.apk (doesn't matter) but it's not active.
Can't you just hold your finger on the blue tab for a moment when your S2 vibrates drag it to the top?

No, it doesn't work. You cannot just drag it down the nav bar area as shown in my screen shot.
With stock rom you can. Pull the multi tab out (showing the multi window apps) and after long press you can move the whole bar to the side of the screen you want.

Please try it with the nav bar enable and you will understand my question. I want the tab inside the are of the nav bar, not just on the bottom side. Thanks for your answer.

Try long pressing the recent apps button and see if that brings up menu while in app drawer.
