How to install :
for locked BL thanks to hellonasty

how to flash for noobs or anyone having issues on locked bootloader:
- download and install 7zip as it enables you to edit zip files without extract or copy
- download rom zip and open archive with 7zip. navigate to updater-script and right click then edit. delete the first 2 lines to the word 'show'. close and save and yes to update archive then close it
- copy the modified rom zip, gapps and cwm zip from here to root of sdcard before attempting to flash the rom. cwm zip is needed to restore cwm recovery as it is removed during flashing of rom zip
- boot into recovery using xparts or quick boot or manual method
- wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, in advanced menu wipe dalvik, fix permissions
- in mounts and storage format system
- install zip from sdcard then choose rom zip to install. do not reboot system as yet
- install gapps
- install cwm zip
- reboot system

put the zip file on sd and flash it throw CWM

inside the script zip there are 2 updater files ! 1 inside the folder that on the zip !!
wich one to copy ??
Updater-script, is the file i put in atachment! Only need change the file.
Tomorrow o upload the complete rom to LB.

Exactly same as yours except the firmware. The patches are working. For your information, I just tried mount /system before flashing, and it works

True, make it for odex. I know it's difficult to make for odex, but odex roms are better - the have lower place usage on /data.

I understand you, but I think it's only one thing - making the deodexd to odex, if we can make from odex rom an deodex, is should work reverse - making from deodex an odex.

Hey dude thanks for the achep's patch.
m on the end 2.5 deodexed rom which is based on cm 7.2 RC0 only so i think it should work on it.
secondly, would like to ask few things....actually i have tried to do it myself using the acpatcher but after flashing mine patch com.media.storage gets force close on a frequent basis.
1. why is that deodexed framework here for that u have uploaded?
and in that only jar file is there not the framework-res.apk ...why so ?

I just can not run this patch, remains in the notification bar the green stripe.
I tried to install the patch on Roma The End 2.5 (deodex) by following these steps:
1 - I installed flash via recovery in the framework
2 - I made the mount / system through the recovery
3 - I made the flash-ICSLayouts patch.zip
4 - I made the flash-ICSLayouts undo.zip
5 - Again, I made the flash-ICSLayouts patch.zip
6 - I rebooted.
The problem may lie in the fact that I have not restarted between the points 1-2-3-4?

The file will flash without any errors but when I boot the phone nothing would be changed.
Do I need to make a zip with the systemui.apk and not the file directory to change the folder inside the systemui?

no you only need to put the file derictory my bet is that you have put the wrong path for the flash you can PM me ill help you further with it

nice work...but it need a little some work...in original by samsung all the superior part is white (area beetween clock and "notification"),in your only the toggle are white (because of this i prefer for now the black version tha look nice and doesnt seem buggy like the white one)...improve this and this would be a master piece...

Everything goes fine. Im' now on rootet 4.4.4.
After flashing the ftf all data was gone. But I did a backup with TWRP before flashing ftf after rooting and flashing recovery I only restored data in TWRP and all is good.

Pretty sure you did something wrong mate. Did you follow carefully the instructions? No one so far reported something like this and I tested this method twice before posting get the tutorial and never had an issue.

Thanks man. I had install the recovery.When i use nrd tools i can`t go to recovery, but when i restart or turn off the phone, and the use volume down i go to recovery sorry for my bad english
Ambient Display Enabler For CM12.1 NightlyNow i will share how to enable ambient display on android 5.1.1 [cm 12 nightly build PecanCM] without any xposed module
and first of all give thanks to original thread for guide to enable it on stock nexus 4 with 5.0.2 . and i compile it to our xperia m with 5.1.1.
and give thanks to for @Bonoboo to make new updater-script for this mod and that can make this mod work on recovery mode . that's what i need to learn it
IMPORTANT : this mod can't be survive if you do update from nightly, so if you do nightly update this mod will be gone , i don't want to try make script to protect this mod in every update. because it's dangerous i think and we can't get new source from cyanogenmod. So you need to reflash again in every nightly update. but with updated from my mod too. and never try to flash outdated mod with new nightly update from cm. that's can make bootloop your device.
This for installation :
1. Go to your recovery mode , I suggest to use FOTA recovery from @cucumber09 here Link
2. Flash this file on your recovery mode, thanks to
3 after that reboot it and see on your display options now
and tick to enable ambient display

2. You missed to extract modified files to /system
3. Since KitKat required to set SELinux context / owner / permissions via set_metadata
4. Replaced update-binary for sure

I bring you lastest .270 update from Sony for our Z1
Requirements
- Stock ROM .270 installed and rooted
- Working Recovery (UB or LB)
This is a PATCH for Stock ROM, this flashable zip contains only /app /framework /priv-app and /vendor apks and jar files.
NOTE: Only the apks are deodexed, the jar files aren't due to a compatibility issue with Open GL
This is a Full Deodexer Patch! Contains all the /framework folder
Instructions

Put it on the phone
Boot into Recovery
Clear Cache and Dalvik/ART Cache

Customized system apps. A system app with odex file needs to be "deodexed" (de-optimized) before you can decompile it.
Deodexing Xperia Lollipop is pointless if you're planning on editing a AndroidManifest.xml, because unless you want to be stuck on a bootloop on first-boot, you need to copy the AndroidManifest.xml and the META-INF folder from the original APK to the modified one.
In order to avoid that, "/framework/services.jar" needs to be decompiled and the signature verifying function needs to be modified and the jar recompiled. That means that at least "services.jar" needs to be deodexed first. And that means you're losing OpenGL (and Play Store won't be able to identify your device, thus you won't see most of the basic apps, or will get old versions of them, like Facebook 5 instead of Facebook 33)
I haven't found any solution to that deodexiing flaw, and from what I've heard, it's only an Xperia problem, not on other Lollipop devices.
EDIT: I'm glad to announce that I've fixed the problem. We can all deodex our frameworks now as long as we want and keep the Play Store working perfectly and OpenGL gives no more problems. I'll write a post about this issue and hopefully it gets fixed.

Haha yeah... well... not many true custom ROM devs in the Xperia community ("true" as in really modifying apps on their own, not just copy-pasting stuff from other places), but thanks to that fix I can now finalize my custom ROM for a public release.
you used what app to deodex the files ? i really want to try on the .270 firmware for the C6943, i was looking for a tutorial and i found a program called xUltimate but i don't know if it's gonna work, i start to provide some roms here on xda but no one have already deodexed any version of the c6943

I just use Droid Lollipop Batch Deodexer V 2.5 following this instructions of IaguCool
After that, just read this thread and apply the corrections on /framework/services.jar to fix Open GL bug
Sorry for being thick, but I still don't really understand why I would want to flash this. Does this improve performance, make the rom lighter? That's why I was asking about the practical uses of this patch? What do you achieve if you flash this patch?

I followed all the steps correctly but the phone is still showing me the same update available error and the kernel version is still .242
Used philz touch recovery for the purpose though.. What did I do wrong?

This is not a complete ROM.
Its a Patch that makes your Odex Stock ROM DeOdexed.
You need for this Patch a running Stock 270 Firmware.
I think in your your deodex patch is something mixing. First your Semcgenericuprex.apk is not deodex as you can see in log file from joeldroid, if you look inside there is no class.dex, i think you have to put inside App folder too to get it deodex. cheers
Also you shoud advise that your updater scritp will erase all the App and priv-app folder prior to copy de deodex ones so people that installed like supersu or other mods on this folders will have to install again after deodexing with this method.
