Guys, was just trying to check my s-pen keeper feature..
It used to work previously but now doesnot work. If u move away from the s pen after removing i dont get any notification or alert.
i have ticked the s-keeper feature in s-pen settings.
What could be the issue?

got it.. it only sounds a alert when the screen is off.. not otherwise..
Mine only worked once now It never goes off I think that was a gimmick

Just got a GN2 and somehow I've turned on the "Sidebar" thing. Anyone know how to get rid of it please.
Feel a bit silly cus I root, flash and do all sorts all the time. But this simplest thing ?I can't! lol

Ditto for the girlfriend. Smack her with a hammer and then reboot her by holding the arm, stepping on the left toe. and pinching the tummy.

You cant add more apps. You can just remove app (which are in the list).
wow...that's useless if you can't edit sidebar apps...but thanx...

Apps have to be coded to be able to use them with in split screen, and only a very few non Samsung apps are coded to work with it sadly.

No they don't have to be coded for split screen!
Apparently all the "work" is being done in the Samsung libraries - I certainly couldn't see Google amending the GMail app to support a function that is vendor specific.
I would imagine it is more to do with:
1. Samsung amending their split screen implementation to ensure it works with specific common apps, as well as their own.
2. Stopping other apps being added as they cannot ensure how they will react.

You can check your phone sensors, vibration , and a bit more

Try to hit the side of your phone with your hand when you are in that black screen.. Your vibrations will start working again. (indian method...lolz)
If your phone is still in warranty period..unroot your phone and go to service center...this error is due to vibration motor in the device...

Edit-I'm on Samsung S Duos
I only registered to convey thanks for this solution. It was definitely driving me nuts. It drove me even more nuts when it worked.:laugh: I had all sorts of service centre visits, costs, backups, formatting, uninstalls etc. running in my head.
I have to say the first time though the vibration worked with one hit at the blank screen but then the phone still wouldn't vibrate at calls. Then I retried the code and kept hitting the phone on my palm 8 to 10 times at the blank screen. This did the trick Am back in business now.
Definitely an Indian solution )) :laugh:

Here is the case. When i open the magnetic cover it automatically turns on the display and show up the Day-note...It's OK...
But the problem is in the Day-note page, the notepad square is not available to draw. It's dark and i tried to add plus mark right up corner but it doesn't add new note....I couldn't find anything in the setting and can't fix it..Help me....
