Body Glove Tough Suit 810g mil tested - Galaxy S III Accessories

looks like only Wal-Mart sells it from browsing around the web, it's not even on the bodyglove website

also listed here http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...ssories/214700-body-glove-tough-suit-gs3.html

tough suits still available at my local walmart, for s3 and s2's

Looks pretty tempting. I have a defender that already has stretched out rubber and I'm considering switching cases

i didnt like the looks of the s3 defender, and the ballistic hc isnt made for the s3, only the sg is, so i got a trident kraken online, then found this one in person

Ive had about two otterbkx commuter and its a good case my only gripe is the buttons.. Just bought this case today and ive been wanting it since i saw it a week or two ago. For $38 if wad a no brainer for me. Now my only gripe is the built in screen protector (which i might remove in a few days) lol.

i have a...
otterbox defender (traded trident kraken to xda member for it)
otterbox commuter
musubo
bodyglove toughsuit ( using it now)
and obex waterproof (gonna send back)
still love this case the best of all those
i really need to stop with the cases lol

Still living this case also. My only problem was the flaps and screen protector. I took out the screen protector and cut the flaps with a razor knife hahahahah

josh33_unc,
Just asked you this same question on Android Central forums. Is the screen protector on the Body Glove Tough Suit anti-fingerprint? If not how is it for fingerprint smudges & overall?
Also mentioned this on your Body Glove Android Central thread, my GF's nephew is being recruited for Alabama football.

Maybe you're referring only to built in screen protectors, I use Steinheil anti-fingerprint screens protectors (dry adhesive) on my Galaxy S (Captivate) and never have any fingerprint smudges. I don't think Steinheil makes them for the S3 (I could not find them online) so I'm having to order a different brand that is much less expensive than the Steinheils were and I'm hoping they work as well.
Would you say the fingerprint smudging is about the same as the Otterbox Defender?

The Body Glove ToughSuit is now available directly from Body Glove in black/black & white/grey but at full retail price of $49.99. It has got to be a short matter of time before this is on Amazon.
Going to call them Monday and ask about discount coupons as my local Walmart is out of stock...........figures with all the difficulty I've had trying to find a screen outward facing case.

Most protective case + screen?

So my last phone got damanged due to my job. So I NEED to get a good case and screen protector for this one, its just too nice. I was thinking of going to best buy or the t-mobile store to get the screen and ordering a ballistic case... not too sure though, I would hate having trouble taking in and out of my pocket...

D30 case and zagg is what I have. Dropped my phone twice from about 4-5 feet getting off my truck onto pavement and not a single scratch anywhere and its Slim and lightweight. Of course there is that minor issue with the button pressing.
There is enough hate in the world. Why can't we all get along here ...?
Trident Aegis case with SGP Ultra Crystal screen protector is the best combo. The screen protector is easy to apply and you wouldn't notice its even on. The Aegis is one of the best with good protection and great quality materials with options to choose different colors. Ballistic is good as well with a extra bulk for extra protection especially from drops.
Ghost Armor and the Ballistics case.Thats what I use,and it fits right in a Large genuine imitation leather belt clip case I bought from a gas station.
I'd have to say that the D3o case is probably the best cell phone case I've used. The lining of the case is made out of a very protective polymer named after the case, D3o. It's used for military, medial and sports applications.
I was skeptical about the $25 price tag at t-mobile but I was more than pleased when I purchased it. I've dropped the phone on concrete, cement, etc without batting an eye. The material of the case is breathable and dissipates heat very well. Easy to hold with different color options.
Needless to say, the main thing about the case is the shock absorption. Nothing I've ever seen before. Not the best link but here's a demo of what the lining is made out of. You can get it at a t-mobile branch if not, online. As the previous post about D3o mentioned, the buttons are a bit tough to push in at first. I heard that after a while, they become more pliable but I used the "exacto-knife" trick and cut slits (completely invisible) on the top and bottom of the buttons. This makes them a lot easier to manage.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-aW5XY2sis
As mentioned above, I'd go with a Ballistic case or the Trident case. I have two D30 cases but stopped using them since my friend's SG2 developed a crack while using that case. They're also very tough to get off without feeling that you're breaking your phone.
I got the trident Aegis.
Will be here soon. The Ballistic case, is nice, but a bit too bulky IMO. And green is my favorite color ^^
Thanks for the screen recommendation. Will look into it.

Moshi iVisor

I was in my local AT&T store today and picked up the official flip cover and the Moshi screen protector.
I am afraid to open because I haven't seen any feedback on this model yet? Anyone get one too? I have a Tru Protection AG on now so I am in no hurry to open.
PS - I picked up some TecTiles also... Will start playing around with those tomorrow.
No one?
I never heard of it
Its amazing, I have one on my Infuse 4g (also a samsung phone) just put it on.
It might be an AT&T store exclusive. Just curious how it fits with the curved glass...
I went ahead and installed... Really like so far and covers to edges. Better than the dry zagg and tru protection ag I tried...

The candyshell I bought fits great with the ivisor so for now ill be using that combo. Good thing the ivisor is reuseable cause ill be taking it off when my replacement SGP screen shields come in and I can switch off between the candyshell and the bodyglove(which is a real nice case)

I had one on my skyrocket. Made my screen look dull IMO
I found that it did dull the display a lot, much more so than other matte screen protectors I have used in the past. I plan on returning it as soon as I have a chance if AT&T allows it to be returned.

[Pic request] xo skins "case fit" screen protector

Does anyone have a xo skins "case fit" screen protector? If so would you mind posting a pic?
I bought the regular one for my s3 and have been very happy with it.. a couple tpu cases showed up yesterday tho and they peeled up some of the edges of my standard fit protector.. pissed..
Anyhoo.. I'd like to see it on our phones if its a substantial enough change to warrant forking over another 14 bucks for a case fit one.. only had this dang thing on for 2 weeks..

Sorry, no pics, but I had a case fit from xoskins on my GNex and it did make a difference with TPU cases.
I bought a few Cruzerlite cases off Amazon, and the case fit was a perfect match. Sat on the screen just barely away from the case.
I would send an email to their customer service (http://xoskins.com/contact-us) and let them know you made a "mistake", and are using a case now. I bet they'll send you a case fit for free as a replacement.
They've always been great to me!

I'm going to try 2 things:
1. I bought a Diztronics case from Amazon, and it came with a screen protector. There's a noticeable gap around the edge of the screen, but the quality of the case and protector are awesome.
2. I ordered protectors from bestskinsever.com. $8.99 for a full phone protector. I've used them in the past, and they are good for the price. If you check their site, they have recently upgraded their skins to match xoskins / Invisible Shield HD quality. I'm waiting for them to show up, so I'll update later.
I think XO will only need your email address you used when placing the order. That's all I've ever given them.
Shoot them an email with all the info you can remember... worst thing they'll say is no

[Q] Case recommendation!

Hey guys, my S3 should be here by the end of the week, woooooooooo. But I need some help deciding on a case and was wondering if people who have tried different cases or used just one and can reccomend it could chime in. Basically I want something that will protect the phone, specifically something with a lip so when screen down the screen isn't touching the surface it's on, and basic protection of the phone, I don't drop my phone often, never dropped it on concrete, I'm not very clumsy but I still want something that'll protect my very very expensive phone. The Otterbox defended and similar cases seem like overkill for me, but the clear plastic 2mm case seem like not enough protection, so I was wondering if there was a nice middle ground that wasn't too thick and bulky but would definitely protect the phone. I've got my eye on this one http://www.goballisticcase.com/products/samsung-galaxy-s-3-ballistic-sg-maxx-series-case, any other suggestions?
Keep in mind I'm coming from a Desire Z with a thickness of 14.2 mm, the S3 feels like a piece of paper in my hand coming from that, so a little bulk doesn't bother me.

That's a nice deal for the Kraken, I like the Aegis as well, they look really nice.
I know you said the otter box is excessive but they actually have two different styles at sprint. i have the slim otter its not bulky but protects everything. I like alot due to the fact that it protects the charging port as well as the ear phone Jack. I had the s2 before and my charging port always got stuff in it like lent from my pocket or what not. The case is lined with a silicone case inside a hard shell which will stop dirt from getting inside and scratching the device as well as making it more drop resistant. It is deffinatly worth having for 30 dollars.
The otter box i have is actually smaller than the case you have posted and comes with one screen protector as well.
Here is a youtube review of the case if it dosent play just google galaxy s3 otter box commuter caae.

+1 for Otterbox Defender. Its not anywhere near as bulky as I thought it was going to be and I really like how it provides me with solid, square edges so I can prop it up on my display screen in my car dash very easily and it stays securly in place (for the most part).

Yes! This!!! I have the exact same case its amazing! Like nothing can destroy this phone with this case!
I used a SGP Neo Hybrid since more than one year but a few month ago the polycarbonat frame is broken so I buy this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Book-Wallet...-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-III-GT-i9300-/271210987593
And I'm total happy with this Case since 2 month!
After trying about 10 cases of varying materials , shapes and sizes I chose the fake Neo Hybrid case since the origional doesn't seem to be available anymore. Build quality is quite good for under 10 bucks and if it breaks itll be cheap to buy another.
UAG is the best!! Very good quality and build. Using it with a 0,4 mm glass screen protector. Beats the plastic ones by a 1000 miles.
+1 on the bodyglove shocksuit!! The shizz.
Spigen neo hybrid now, had an Otterbox commuter for the last year. Like them both but I prefer the Spigen
Got to agree body glove is the best. Good price and doesn't make the phone to big and bulky.

Oh my god yes. the UAG case is really nice. The one thing I do dislike is that the lettering on the back came off within the first week of having it. Still recommend for durability. Btw those who want the case, Slate is a lot closer to the natural GS3 blue than you think!

most of the fake UAG case sell cheap and have letters failling off or just painted on it not mentioning the quality is not the same at all.
im not saying you brought fake one but just sharing some experiences.
also my fav case is indeed a UAG one (Scout/black) i got it from Ebay for 24$ port inclusive from a Belgian seller, i did some investigation because even if its only 10 bucks less than the official store its still suspicious, i did sent some detailed pics of the case and box info/bar code and according to the customer service : it's a original one, nonetheless i spared 10$ on it but i didnt got custom taxes.

exactly what make a UAG better than a Otterbox, Otter are nice but too bulky.
funny experience: i had 2 S3 dropped from my balcony (around 3meter)1 from a friend with a Otterbox defender and mine with the UAG without screen protector both hit the concrete on the lower edge (where the soft bumper is) result : mine nothing the other had a little (very small) crack on the bottom of the screen xD

That life proof looks really solid but still just a bit too bulky for me. I might get something a bit thicker than my UAG, but first I need a proper full screen protector. I've gone through like 5 because they are dammed hard to apply.
