Is there any app or tweak that would allow me to control my music player with the volume buttons when the screen is off, like in CM?

I know the WanamLite ROM has this feature in it, dunno if any others do.

I am on wicked Rom. I was wondering what I can do to get the ability to skip music with volume keys. I had this with cm7 on a g2x. I want to keep the current Rom.

Try using poweramp.
yup, Poweramp has this option in the settings.

Using power amp and can't skip with volume keys. Went through settings for an hour. Do I have to purchase it?

Just checked poweramp settings and can't find the actual setting for some reason but I know it's there because all I have to donis hold volume up/down to change a song

I'm on the WanamLite ROM and I use mainly Spotify for music but I can't controle it from my Widgetsoid Next/Pause/Previous widget nor with the volume buttons when the screen is off. Though my widget and volume buttons work fine with the stock mp3 player
Is there any way to fix that?

Can't you just use the spotify widget?
Well I could but it doesn't fit my theme, so if there is a way to fix that there's no reason not to. And what bothers me the most is that volume buttons stuff, because being able to skip tracks without getting my phone out of my pocket is pretty convenient.

Would it be possible for one of you to make an mod of the stock Sony camera app so that you can control the gain of the volume?
This means disabling the auto gain control.. I would love this because then we could get a more stable audio track from our recordings

An option to control input volume... The gain of the input... Many audio recording apps on Google play has it...
Very good when recording in environments with different volumes... So that they are more real instead of the telephone turning the volume up and down according to the volume of the environment

Why not try other music player on PLAY Store.....
Thats why I don't use the stock one.
i have poweramp and google play music. those are the only ones that ive used where the lock screen widget doesnt block my alarm.

Is there any possible way to have spotify lock screen controls with stock touch wiz? I am coming from ios and this is very important for me because of running and working out it was easy to control spotify on lock screen. Any help would be awesome

If you set up a pattern lock, the spotify lock screen controls work. Probably the closest you will get.
