What the white one? I can just make a kernel(which i'm doing as I type.) and have beta testers on euro, tmo, and att. EZ! And the kernel will work with the gs3(euro), but can only do it to 1.705GHZ.

If you flash your own kernel, what do you gain? What do you lose?

A lot can be gained from an kernel. And a lot can be broken if not done correctly.

So I'm a n00b to development, but I was wondering where you edit the file(s) that let you specify how (clock freakuency) much you can have that's specified by the kernel. Also do you know where the one is to allow loop devices?

I'll be porting Perseus over to each variant as soon as somebody gives me a boot image to extract the ramfs from. The T-Mobile and US Cellular versions are already up.

og epic, i gutta say i like the kettle corn name so far
lemme build the e4gt cm9 nightly and try a new version with a little bit lower voltages to see how it handles it
lower volts seem fine but apparently bootanimation.zip is broken. not much sense in giving you guys an undervolted init.d kernel and oc and bootani not working
anyways source is up

Lean Kernel TW

Hey guys, is there a TW Lean Kernel for our phones?
I checked here: http://imoseyon.host4droid.com/s3/
But anything that says TW is from 2012.
Man that was difficult. I had to type "lean kernel i747" into Google, click the first link, click another link then copy and past ANOTHER link just for you.

Yeah man I know that link. I use it currently. It's for AOSP.
Since AOSP isnt TW, I was hoping for the TW version. I was browsing around and somebody mentioned that you can get lean kernel for TW, that's why I'm asking because I can't find it.

My favorite kernel(dev)! Thank you!
Great to see you here! I've Seen your work before but never had the chance to use them. Anyways I just flashed the hltetmo and my sdcard got unmounted with the 'safely to remove message' on bootup. Rebooted and it still will not mount. I have the 64gb Samsung sdcard. Not sure what format it is but I have not changed the format it came with at all.

Not really. As with Canadian carriers on my Galaxy S4, I lump ATT and all Canadian carriers together because they share the same source code from Samsung! (so in effect, Samsung are the ones who lump the two together).

blame @Yank555
My plan for Note 3 will be a collaboration with yank555. He has the real N9005 device and I have the 900T device. Together we will have better coverage for all the variants. He will primarily be responsible for international models and I will be primarily responsible for Domestic USA models. This will off load some of the work from me and have better testing and verification for the International Models.
I just finished the initial bring up of N900T, the source is shared between yank and myself. Let's give him a little time to warm up to this collaboration and together we will enhance this kernel further.
All i got to say is Hell F*****G Yeah!!! Cant wait till test the beast haha. Awesome kernel dev for the N4.

Looking for a dev to update AOSP Kernel for E980 - $$ Offered

We are looking for a developer to keep our kernel updated from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51770516
The source is on the OP.. Credit to @uppon2 for finding and posting the kernel and @mcaserg for developing it (believe he changed devices and isn't maintaining it anymore).
We are offering a bounty for development.. So far it is up to $100 - I will update if more pledges are made.
$50 - @nerdyblonde
$50 - @hopsin4444
This is the only known AOSP kernel for our device, and it is outdated and most reported it isn't working too well with 4.4.2. Even though our device is awesome, it doesn't have the publicity it deserves nor the developers. I am trying to learn, but it will take some time since I have never developed for Android before. Thanks all!
