Here what you should do if you want to check by better battery stat. Full charge, disconnect charger, turn on airplane mode leave phone over nite and check again. At that point you will know for sure what keep running on background

Thanks for you reply but what about Stock or custom ROM which one is better

Depend .You ready on stock when you had a phone so try out custom rom see if fit your taste and make sure Nandroid backup before flash any rom .After try custom rom you think not better than stock just go head restore which very easy right...
From day 1 I had my note I ready try to root & flash custom rom when had one. But that is me ..
Good luck & enjoy the beast

THEME Optimus 2x By Coldflid

This is the same theme as in my rom. BTW, this theme is for stock roms, if you use it in roms with 5 lockscreens or extended power menu, the extended power menu will dissapear, and the 5 lockscreens won't work, you'll have AOSP lockscreen only.
FUTURE Update will have extended power menu, some themed apps and 5 lockscreens.
HOPE YOU LIKE IT

[Q] Where's this Phone At?

Ok so I just got this D710 Epic 4G touch. With some of the info I have read I'm guessing that it's kinda easy to brick these if you use the wrong method to flash a rom if it's before the source release & I'm not sure about where this phone is at. It has the Leaked(FF02) ICS Rom & Stock Recovery on it. I am not sure when this was released.
What I want to do is put phone on a good stable stock rom that everything works to get a good base & nandroid backup. Then I want to go to a good stable ICS or JB rom for my daily driver. Can I just Odin a OTA Stock Debloated Rooted Rom back it up then go from there?
Right now this phone's radio will turn off for a few seconds at times. This morning my phone rang so I answered it that's when the phone's radio turned off so that made me hang up on a Customer when I answered the Phone=NOT GOOD
I want/need something that fully works. Like the GPS works & the radio don't turn off n all that jazz.

A daily driver stock JB ROM will be leaked at some point today. Rooted versions also in the works. Keep an eye out for FK23 threads.
Also the radio problem looks like the eg30 radio. There was massive loss of signal on that one. Try something more updated. Like fi27 modem.

:good: Alright thank you guys.
So I can flash what ever rom I want using the one click odin method? Like this Stock rooted rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721229
I personally would look for fI27 but yes. And one click is always recommend if your not 100 percent sure of what your doing.

I plan to do this tomorrow, help please?

Hey guys, i would like to know how to pick the right kernel for a specific Rom.
My goal is to Root and flash my Galaxy nexus (4.3 Stock) Running on the Videotron.com Carrier (I would suppose its GSM, i have a simcard) with paranoid android, and franco kernel.
My questions are as follows,
1- Are Franco kernel and paranoid android compatible?
2- Will it really help me on Ram and Battery life.
3- Can someone please explain to me how to pick the right firmware, the right kernel, and google apps version.
This is my 3rd android phone, and i always needed help with this, but i would like to learn it myself. (i am not a pc noob, i just never played with phones)
This is my phone right now

By the way, i am willing to donate when it gets done.
1. You have to use the correct version of any kernel that matches your OS version. So if you are on 4.3 use any 4.3 kernel.
2. Custom kernels usually help with battery life but you will have to try many different kernels to see which is best for you.
3. Like I said in answer no. 1 everything should match the OS you are on. If you are on 4.3 then you will need to use a kernel that is for 4.3 and gapps that are for 4.3, if you on 4.2.2 then use 4.2.2 kernel/gapps.
PS- I am not sure what you mean by "donating when it gets done" but feel free to donate to our great devs

Hi,
I have a GNex from videotron. Rooted it 20 minutes after getting it from videotron store
Yes, it's a gsm. The model is maguro.
I was on paranoidandroid 3 weeks ago and it really cool.
You need to download their rom from the dev section. There is a link to download gapps in the same thread.
If you want to keep it simple, no need to flash any kernel. Stock PA kernel is fine.
Happy flashing

Oh finally, someone seeing this..
in recovery? what u mean? installed recovery? i installed NUT dual recovery..
Is that the causes of all this?
Here another update of my issue
Worse than before..
When u work in recovery (stock / CWM / TWRP) it drains your battery... but i guess thats not your problem.. you could try re-calibrating your battery and if that doesn't work then take it to the service center..

Best Z1C ROM?

Hi.
I have this phone since months but I could not figure out which rom to install. I don't want to lose the Sony's camera so RR and CM is not an option. (Tried to flash it from cross-dev thread topics but just killed the rom)
The other problem is that from the stock roms the latest (D5503 14.6.A.1.236) has a prerooted version wich I still use but after a month it started freezing and rebooting and now doing it almost every hour.
I don't want to use previous builds because the latest has the best battery life.
Any idea?

Personally, I start from scratch, (flashtool ftf), then build, (root, busybox, recovery, mods, Xposed, etc.). I always keep a backup of base rooted rom, then make a backup whenever I do any major system changes successfully.
I'm pretty much satisfied with MX ROM. Few quirks here and there, but nothing major. Battery life is better than on stock, put Z5 camera libs, amplify and MobileRadioFix and it's very good. Probably there will be some new update soon.
Thanks for your answer.
I solved it. I use RR (this is my favourite) and the OpenCamera app seems better than the Sony's Camera app
I prefer kitkat. I can make it run for days on end whithout charging. Lollipop and MM just sucks the juice out of the phone. I don't feel either LP nor MM has that much that make it interesting for me to change to either of them.
Picture: mobile used for three days on battery (and yes, I have taken calls on it)
