can u give us an alternate link....and possibly some more details about the changes?
does it still retain the tablet DPI?

Its a switch wds built in, DPI remains 160 however the ui will be either tablet or phablet depending if this line is there or blocked. It doesn't mess with anything else. Its the alternative he came up with vs my forcing one or then other in source (dirty but effective) or jacking with DPI (dirty and breaks stuff).

Linuxsociety's build props were made before the tablet ui tweak was put in place. So if you use one of those for 4.1.1 jb, it will put it back to phablet ui.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1799148
Or if you use any wds cm10 build before 9.02.12, as that is the only one that has tablet ui forced.

Wds never forced it, they always had phablet ui, my builds forced it, and I told Linux how so his likely were as well, I also gave him the mem Bar as I had intended to stop building and let him carry it on.
The only wds builds to have tablet ui are the builds with that switch in build.prop, which I think was his last build.

The AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56 mm, magazine-fed, semi-automatic rifle, with a rotating-lock bolt, actuated by direct impingement gas operation or long/short stroke piston operation. It is manufactured with the extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials.
Hope that helps!

It just changes the ui. It will add the notification area to the top and nav buttons in the center bottom, ala nexus 7.
It supposedly increases app capatibility for phone apps. But most apps work on tablet ui just fine.

I've actually had some games that run on my G2x, but when on my tablet in phabui game crashes, switch to tabui and they will run.
And I have yet to run into a game that runs in a vice versa situation.
I just leave build.prop in tabui.

How easy would this be to port?
Its the best ROM ever! You can have the entire tablet mode UI or entire phone UI or a bit of this a bit of that. You can make an app run in tab mode if it supports that, for example, chrome, I use it in tablet mode and its awesome. Per app density is another feature. You can control what density should the app run in.. its just plain amazing!

Probably little to no differences between 4.1.1 and CM10 yet, as all of AOSP has been merged and CM9 is being finished prior to major testing of merging CM9 features into CM10.
Does it have t9 dialer? Otherwise im happy with stock
Holy moly, CM10 already?

Me too.. but I'm using Notification Toggle app with CM9 custom icons and it's working fine.
The only thing I miss from CM9 is themes support, but honestly JB is sooooooo smooth that is the first time I'm considering stick with an original ROM, not CM or other custom.

As I mentioned in the stripped down AOKP thread I like the less fat versions as well. I have been doing this to my roms for quite some time but I do believe to simply save yourself as an OP some time it would be easier and faster overall to develop script to remove the files.
I have attached a copy of what I use after every flash and it takes out a lot from CM10 since I use mostly my own notifications and ringtones. Feel free to manipulate how you like and use. Its no more that 5 seconds to run after you have flashed everything...
Like I said feel free to check it out I found it and fixed it to my needs and its been working for me. Not to knock your hustle just know how much of a pain it was for me to delete stuff after every update

[ROM] Unofficial CyanogenMod 10 4.2.1 - JOP40D - Manta [With OC/UC] [01/12/2012]

OK, so this is going to be my thread for unofficial CM10 builds...
@makelegs also has JellyBro nightly builds, but the main difference is I don't include any cherry-picks... only the official CM10 commits... If you'd like bleeding edge, do try those builds!!!
I've built this ROM with @ktoonsez kernel as my base... so you have OC/UC (100Mhz to 2100Mhz), with adjustable voltages and many CPU governors...
Do note, though, that CyanogenMod 10 is still a work in progress and may have bugs and issues...
Features:
1. CyanogenMod 10 - Android 4.2.1 [as of 01/12/2012 8:30AM Pacific Time]
CM10 features include: ThemeChooser themes, configurable notification lights, circle battery, the classic notifications power widget (turned off by default), volume-rocker wake & music controls, profiles, quiet hours, performance settings and many more2. USB OTG support just like my AOSP+ 4.2.1 ROM
3. Kernel 3.4.20 with OC with 2100Mhz and UC to 100Mhz, with adjustable voltages & a lot of governors [use OC and voltage changes with caution]
4. UNC patched busybox (this is not yet part of CM10)
New in 01 Dec 2012 Build:
1. Updated device overlays for CM10.
2. Enabled expanded desktop and torch
3. Added more screen timeouts
4. Patched power HAL which does not revert OC after screen-off [credit ktoonez & myself]
6. Updated CM10 source as of 01/12/2012 8:30AM Pacific Time
Known issues:
Performance settings menu cannot adjust CPU speeds. Use apps like SetCPU.
Disclaimer:
I can make no guarantees that your experience with this ROM will be flawless. If you decide to flash this ROM, remember that you are doing so at your own discretion. I cannot and will not be held responsible if your jelly beans become rotten and your tablet decides implode. I will try to help you to the best of my ability, but beyond that, you stand alone behind enemy lines!! Have fun!!
Instructions:
1. Full wipe/factory reset is a must if you are flashing this over any other ROM
2. Wipe cache/dalvik cache between builds
3. Flash using CWM or TWRP

[Kernel][JB 4.2.2] KickAss Kernel

Stock Kernel
I call this "stock" because I took the stock ICS source code and added certain modifications done to litekernel leaving us with a pretty rock solid kernel for cm10.1 ROMS
This kernel supprts:
BLN
Voodoo Sound
MTP
Data Usage
This kernel does not support:
UV
OC
GPU OC
Fast Charge
MMC_CAP_ERASE( ie I removed it so we dont brick our phones )
Download "stock"
You only need to wipe dalvik and cache to flash.
Upcoming:
I will be porting a few extra features like OC as well as adding few extra CPU governors and IO schedulers and that will be the kickass kernel but It'll take some time to run tests and what not before I release it

Code:
E/dalvikvm-heap( 7024): Out of memory on a 31961104-byte allocation.
Applying RamHack as we speak
Increasing dalvik heap size and grow limit fixes gallery FC.
You can fix that with apps like system tuner or wait for me to upload a new kernel with the changes.
--------
Update
--------
In the end this is a wont fix as the problem is not in the kernel.

You need to modify your build.prop file to increase dalvik heap and grow limit.

thanks guys, I just got it working again. first I had an FC but after clearing cache, gallery wouldnt crash anymore with hdr or crop.
one more question to you: I changed those things as they were in the description (to 192m and 384m), but I dont know if its the best. To how many do you recommend to change these numbers?
oh, and one more thing, cause Im having troubles with pressing the '1' and '4' characters on the physical keyboard while browsing. It starts to load something but doesnt put those damn numbers down, why? And if I press a key, it puts it down for a thousand times but doesnt pop up the number suggestions or those "table things" to choose specific characters.. only while browsing.. with texting it works fine.
Thanks
128m is working without problems for me.

Nice work
BTW: you have to open source your kernel according to the GPL rules

The sources have been on my github account since I started working on this, have I missed a license notice somewhere ?

Ok, I just wondering that there isn't a link to your source.
