Can I flash an Galaxy note 2 who is not destinated for sale? it hasn't network at all , so I want to know if I can flash an stock rom or custom for an normal note 2 to use it like that

First : I wanted to try anything because without S / N phone does'nt work!
Second: there is a great suspicion that a phone "not for sale" in a particular person, so I wanted to pose a risk to flash something that is certainly robbed!
Can you? Maybe.
Should you? Not really.
If the device is marked as "not for sale" its possibly a store demonstrator (for people to try in-store) with no valid IMEI, so that it can't work as a cellphone if its stolen.
It could also be an engineering/production/testing sample with non-standard hardware or software.
Another issue is that you would have to clone an IMEI to get the phone working, which is illegal in most countries.
In conclusion, these devices are dubious at best and leave way too many questions unanswered.

Warranty . Do the service centers check if your just on yakju with Bootloader locked again. Would they void that ?.
Have you found a link for the yakjudv firmware. I am looking as well for a warranty issue however everyone seams to take it apon themselves to ignore the request and just post links to the Google Stock images which are as good as flashing a custom ROM when trying to return this is Telstra

Don't think so. Even in cases when they got it flashed to other carriers, I have yet to see a post that says changing the spc was accomplished.

Any news on this? I flashed my Sprint S3 to cricKet, but would like to be able to *228 it to get the latest correct PRL for my area. Phone refuses to *228 because the MSL is something other than 000000.

Am just wondering if I can get some help here, I've recently got the Note 2 N7105 and looking at rooting the handset. However I'm not sure on what root method to follow as there doesn't seem to be any for the N7105 itself.
Can someone please guide me to the actual process please and can someone confirm if the N7100 ROMS would work with the N7105 without losing LTE Connectivity?

Look for Chainfire's N7100 auto root thread in the main developer's section... he has a N7105 rooting guide there...

thanks vinny. some stupid tried to upgrade and did the mess. this set lost the baseband version and imei number. i checked the post but i dont have the efs backup. so cant repair baseband version problem. can you suggest anything else?

Is it yourphone ir your friends? If it yours friend than return him asap since its now a expensive media player!
I read a post of a guy who had similar problem(no efs backup) and he had to sell his phone as a spare parts!
But u still hv some chances of recovering imei(i read somewhere) even if u dont have efs backup

bought my watch from China and when i came home its set in Chinese.
Did a factory reset, still no language selection
Neither does it have a wifi
i saw others have these functions, how can i flash to their rom?
Has anyone successfully done this?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
