Just updated to JellyBean and now there is haptic feedback when pressing keys? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

So, just updated to JB rooted. Now there is haptic feedback when depressing keys such as in texting and email. Is there a way to disable it?
Thanks.
PS: Under sound-settings-it is unchecked......
THANKS!

If your talking about when typing you need to go to the keyboard setting and disable vibration upon keypress.

Thanks RB, just what I needed to know.

i try that but the vibration of dialpad is always there. the only thing when i disable the heptic is lock. the vibration of lock was gone.
Ok. Try some different dialer like exDialer. It's free and got useful features than default dialer!

[Q] Keyboard haptics

Hi,
every spec chart states that the Y doesn't have haptics but I actually receive vibration feedback when I hold the hardware home button .
What I want to know is if it's only a software limitation, if there's a way to emulate it (like "touchXplorer"), I'm only interested in typing feedback so maybe a modded virtual keypad will do the job.
Because it's nonsense to me that other gingerbread have it and mine doesn't, even if it's there.
Many thanks
Use SwiftKey x or some other Keyboard apps, they have haptic feedback!
Thanks! I've tried some.
But I've found out why there's no haptic in the young.. even with short vibration time it has an awful feeling. It's really not designed to work this way.
hei man ... i recently bought a galaxy y ...and had the same weird feeling about no haptic feedback... lights on the buttons . but i found a way just to enable haptic feedback for the back and menu buttons ... thanks to the guy that gave me the flashable zips .
here is the link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1556491
i was wondering..if you guys know if i can get the "back "button sound...my phone only has that "click "on the left capacitive button ... is that normal ?

thats definetely true (lol). I remove my heptic mod right after I used it. a vibrating button will drains our battery faster anyway.

[Q] touch haptics

yesterday i saw my friends galaxy s.when i press any icon on screen it vibrates.is this not available in galaxy w.i am not talking about key board.but talking talking about general touch on the screen.any help?
Our SGW hasn't such a setting, but anyway it is not good for the battery life ;-)
There is no hepatic feedback feature on the Galaxy W from what I know of. Hopefully some developer can add this option.
When I use thumb keyboard I have haptic feedback. So it is possible.

Is that possible to enable haptics feedback when pressing the soft key, mean the "option" and "back" key?? I couldn't found any setting to enable it.

Read again the first post. Question was about haptic feedback in system, not in keyboard app. And yes, SGW has vibration device, so it can support haptic feedback, but there is no support in the system itself, we have haptic feedback only in some apps.

Once again, our SGW hasn't such a setting. See the posts above.
Our phone has the hardware capability for haptic feedback but Samsung has not included it as a system setting. So it only works in specific apps that have implemented it.An example is when you long press a shortcut in the app drawer or homescreen.

Problems sending picture texts and question about how to remap my multitasking keys

I am runnining this ROM:
[ROM][4.1.1][GSM][PRIMOU]Android Open Kang Project Jellybean
and it should be the 10/8/12 build.
I cannot send picture texts (it says "downloading" and then it doesn't go anywhere no matter if wifi/data are on. How can i fix this?
Also, i find the jellybean multitasking button useless if it doesn't bring up the multitasking apps instead of having to hold the home button. How can i remap this?
Also, if i were to re-rom my old stock rom can i still upload a kernel onto it to make it overclocked? Also, is the music app found in CM10 because on this rom its missing, i had to use a 3rd party music app to get this done.
Please help me with my questions, all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Nvm I solved it guys by editing the build.prop method. Download any root managing app and put this code in the bottom
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Reboot and whoop!
you have your on screen softkeys!!
