[Q] Pre-Order Status Changed from "Pending" to "Attention" - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I just pre-ordered the Note 2 on the AT&T Premier Website and my status just changed to "Attention." It was "Pending" 5 minutes ago. Does anyone know what does that mean? I paid the no-commitment full price....Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!!

I would call customer service. I had a billing issue where my address was wrong for the iPhone 4S release and I had to cancel my order, change my address online, and then re-order it.

Hey I had that problem when I upgraded one of my lines to the SIII. It said "attention" but I also got an email confirming it was a problem with my credit card. Sometimes their system wont process certain debit cards right so I had to change the card and everything was good after that. I used the same new card to pre-order my note II and havent had any issues yet.

I called Premier support today and they said they had to review my order, that's why it's in Attention status. Has anyone else heard of this??

I just got off the phone with premier, and they also told me they had to "Review my order" no further info and the Note 2 was now backordered ????? Now I play the waiting game.

They also switched my order to "Attention" today. I had the same experience with customer service. They said that my order was being reviewed, but did not say anything about the phone being back ordered. The website still says that the phones are expected to ship on the 6th. Where's the ambivalent smiley...
Edit: I am also a premier customer doing no-commitment pricing.
Edit 2: I'm not sure why I still have the 5 minute restriction between posts. I can't even make minor changes without waiting 5 minutes. Annoying...

Has anyone successfully registered for the guaranteed 200 from Samsung at https://samsunggalaxypromotions.com/note4/ ?
No matter how I format the MEID & wifi mac address the site says it's wrong. I finally got frustrated and opted for the mail in method, but that's a pain in the butt.
I had exactly the same experience. Thank you for posting. I was getting myself wound up that my rebate was going to be rejected. Now I'm more confident it's just an error with the rebate site.
I'm going to try tomorrow. Maybe since its still within the pre-order phase?

You get the value of the phone at the store you preordered from.
That info you take to the Samsung site with you and you get 200 minus what you got from store trade in value. In 6 to 8 weeks that is...

didn't accept mine either. I am going to mail in. I preordered the phone on sprints website but I traded in at my local sprint store. I hope the preorder confrimation email i got from sprint will count as my preorder receipt. not quite sure what they want.

so now that we have established that the meid/wifi mac issue happened to more than just one of us.......what paperwork should i sign,date,print name, circle price on if i preordered on the sprint website? Am i to assume the email confirmation from my order w/ the price needs to be printed and mailed in? all i know is my local sprint store only gave me $79 for my Note II so i had better get this samsung rebate. otherwise i would have just sold my phone on ebay.
Any update on the IMEI error. Did samsung fix it yet? i prefer to submit the rebate online because it is faster to receive the rebate than the mail in.

I spent three hours yesterday trying to upload different ways. Sprint wouldnt help and samsung cust service said they couldn't either. After numerous phone calls.
Has ANYONE been successful in submitting their info on that form?
Still same problem . I tried 5 times till i gave up and send it by mail certified with delivery confirmation lol.

There are two promotions..... The 128GB SD card is by per-ordering on T-mobile. The rep is probably right. You are referring to the promotion through LG, which works as you described. The LG promo is for G4 purchases through June and is a 32GB SD card, battery, and charging cradle for the battery.
There is also a promo for pre-ordering through BestBuy, for a $100 gift card.

Nope. You can't even put in for the 128gb T-Mobile promotion without the ESN and Receipt. Same as the spare battery/cradle/32gb card from LG.

The flier with promotion for the 128GB card and the link to submit information is in the package. Definately not the card.
The 128gb doesn't come with the phone.. You have to apply on the LG site like I did... Last Thursday and yet they haven't emailed me back to see if I got it.

I just completed the form today with a T-mobile variant and the form accepted and sent me an email with some information including the following:
"Please be on the lookout for a confirmation email letting you know the approval status of your submission within the next 5 business days.
Your Submission ID is XXXX. (id removed)
If you have any questions regarding this email please contact us at [email protected] or 1-800-793-8896."
So, I would think you could try contacting them at that email address or phone number if it has been more than 5 business days. I will wait until next Wednesday 6/10 before I start getting upset.

I did contact them and they said to email the stuff to them. I'm not going to follow that because that's not the suggested way, either online or mail it in. so since Verizon's imei's are showing up invalid I'm mailing mine in. They said, of course, my imei is valid just no answer why I can't submit online.

I redeemed mine on launch day and it's still showing pending approval on HTC's site. Even though it said redeem by 6/20 you should have still redeemed it when you got the phone, really no reason to have waited.
Is there a way to track the free gift ?

I submitted on the 22nd and it still says pending. The big bummer is my in-box charger was DOA, so I've been using my V10 charger. I'm hearing horror stories about non approved chargers messing up the 10. I've been meaning to go back to T-Mo and see if they can just throw me a new charger.
I ordered mine on launch day but didn't receive it till the following week. Tracking the submission request it says approved on June 4th so we'll see what happens.
Naturally, the day after I email customer service (got no response), the status changed to approved.
I was never told about it when I got the phone. Had to go to a different T-Mobile store, cause my regular one didn't have the h10, and had no idea when or if they would be be getting it. Way to drop the ball T-Mobile.

Yeah, well I just heard about this and I want my free gifts. Its not my fault that T-Mobile decided to not carry this phone in ANY store in central Ohio.
I have a contact at T-Mobile executive office I have been dealing with on other things. Can anyone get me info on this so I can ask her about it?

My T-mobile store didn't tell me either, but I knew about it like a week before the phone was even released at T-mobile. . .
It was literally all over the internet and even on the T-mobile HTC 10 store page
They gave you a like 5 days to buy the phone (may 18-23 I think?) and then you had until june 3rd? to submit the proper information for redemption..
I don't think complaining to T-mobile about you not knowing or the store not telling you about this is going to get you anywhere

I was simply asking for the details. I have been dealing with T-Mobile at their executive office for weeks on another matter. The person I was speaking too knew that I was waiting on this phone to release so I could order it.
It's also not an issue with the stores not telling me anything..... How was I supposed to go to a store to purchase it, when the stores in central Ohio ARE NOT CARRYING IT?!

Pretty sure that's all there is.. you missed the promotion and that's it... pretty sure htc was/is doing a $20 rebate on the ice view due to it being out of stock..

Thank you for the info. Like I said I had been dealing with some serious crap from T-Mobile for weeks and have a direct line to the executive office because of it. I was letting her know how the central ohio market got screwed because of how it was handled and communicated. That has been my biggest issue with them.
I was simply wanting to provide that info to them so that T-Mo can work to improve its customer service. Tired of getting crap every time I have to talk to them about anything.

Note 7 Refund Status?

Ive sent in 2 note 7's almost a month and a half ago to samsung, first i called them they sent me a box within a box within a box within a box times 2, sent them to texas they got them 3 days later said my check for 2 note 7's are being processed the check should get there no later than the 21st of OCT. well as time came no check showed up. called samsung again to see the status of it and they said "well we just started giving paper refunds a week ago yours has been processed but theres no ETA. Mind you i am on a cheap phone waiting for this check so i can buy a google pixel xl outright. has anyone in the same boat as me recieved their refund yet or are they just blowin smoke up my ass???
This whole process has been smoke blowing you know where.... Whoever thought of treating their most loyal customers this way should be fired! I have had multiple (for family members TOO) Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, and now note7. They should refund us to collect the phones. Then give us a temp s7 edge that we can exchange for the note 8 for no more than half price or something along those lines. THIS IS THE ONLY REASONABLE SOLUTION!!!! Even then we have to wait for our Ferrari for unknown time to get "out of the repair shop" so that aspect might be worth the $100 customer service credit but i lean to "not enough samsung" on that one too.
The google pixel is looking better and better. If google was smart they would make their version of the note 7 asap and release it because they will get all of samsungs currently pissed off customers.

No check yet, but a lot of us did receive an email stating that the check is coming via UPS but yet I have no tracking number and STILL no check... They need to quit bull****tin!
I wonder why they would not send a tracking number if it's coming UPS? I'm am very disappointed in the way they are handling these returns. It seems very unorganized.

Im very happy with my N7 and will be using it as long as i can.
My second (locked) N7 is a different story. Can't unlock nor Samsung is willing to help yet. Been waiting for over 9days already for them to reply to my email. Some of you guys want a refund, laugh i cant even connect with them for an exchage =)

I was just told today that they are not coming UPS and instead they are coming via the post office ( snail mail ). I was told several times before this that the checks would be sent out via UPS overnight, but apparently that was a lie too... Agent told me that if I did not receive the check by next week Tuesday that I should call back in and they would re-process the check, whatever that means?

It's been about 22 business days since they have received my phone and I've called multiple times. If I don't get it by X date call back so I have, this time it was on a Sunday and I spoke to someone claiming he was 2 stories above the refund team but would solve all my problems by emailing the manager of that floor which should contact me back within 72hrs. It's now five days later no call, no check, and no reason to call them again since you never can get a real answer for where's my check? I'm done calling them hopefully a fellow xda member will post when they receive their's. If a class action lawsuit over this refund check situation I will definitely be signing up. Stuck using my son's BLU phone for the past month.

I just don't understand how they can send a check for about a thousand dollars right through the mail and NOT have some type of tracking number!!?? It's CRAZY to me.... On top of that, they had NO record of the tracking number for the Note 7 that I sent to Stericycle, so therefore they could not give me any info on that either. This has got to be the WORST customer service I have dealt with in quite some time! I will post my check as soon as it comes so that others know I received it. Take care and good luck...

On top of that, they had NO record of the tracking number for the Note 7 that I sent to Stericycle, so therefore they could not give me any info on that either. This has got to be the WORST customer service I have dealt with in quite some time! I will post my check as soon as it comes so that others know I received it. Take care and good luck...

Thanks bro, I'm wondering if Stericycle was the right choice for this. The lack of information between them and Samsung is ridiculous. I also had to provide my tracking number to Sammy and they put it in my notes. You would think it would be as simple as open, check imei, forward approved list to Sammy and put check in the mail. Even if my check was late but I had the ability to check the status of my return on a simple website, I wouldn't be as aggravated over it. The lack of answers after I send off a $900 phone in good faith has swayed me from buying anther product from them.
Maybe Stericycle is just overwhelmed by the amount of N7s coming in that it's taking them a week to even open the box once they receive it. But come on Samsung make a statement and tell your customers whats really going on.

LMAO !! You know I am so pissed that I decided to call in AGAIN just now. So now I am told by a supervisor that the checks are indeed being sent via UPS and NOT USPS like I was told on my last call (yesterday). And I have a service called "UPS My Choice" , which is a service that immediately notifies me if anyone has addressed a package to me and when that specific package is scheduled to be delivered. Guess what? There are NO packages scheduled to be delivered to me, so that means that the check has not even been sent out of their building yet. So the email that everyone received on Tuesday letting them know that the checks are on their way and will take 2-3 business days to arrive, was BULL****!! Just one more lie to the MANY lies they have already told us... I hate Samsung SOOOOOO much right now!

For those approved for T-Mobile Pixel promo...

Hey guys. How long did it take for you guys to get your reward? Did you receive the monthly credit, lump sum, or MasterCard? I received a text saying I was approved and that I would get the monthly bill credits but then, a minute later I received an email saying I'll get a card within the next 2-3 weeks. Just wanted to see other people's experience with the promo.

I bought my phone in November and got approved in December, but so far I have had to call every month to "remind" them to apply the $13.55 credit to my account. Every month they say that the system is being upgraded and assure me that it would be applied automatically from then on. So far that hasn't happened.
The last time I had a promo deal with them, they eventually applied the credit balance to my account, so I haven't given up hope yet.

Thanks! Doesn't sound too well. I just got off the phone and was told to call the 14th. The email said I should be receiving my rewards card by this upcoming week.

How long before it was applied? Also, were you able to track it through TMobile promotions? Says, approved as step 2, then mailed as step 3.

About 8 weeks and the tracking part always said pending till i got a text and i went to check and it wouldn't let me track it , a couple weeks after that i noticed my account was credited the total amount at once
