Ive been able to get the note2 camera (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2034867) installed and working on my AT&T s3 but features like best group pose and the like arent available. It mentions something about needing touchwiz and a deodexed rom. Has anyone got it to work with Tasks AOKP? (release 12/2) I was going to flash blackjelly because it is confirmed to work with that rom but i dont want to give up AOKP. This rom is ROCK solid but id love to have the Note 2's camera!

I tried looking around but couldn't find anything, maybe searched google with the wrong keywords or IDK. Thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else knew any better.

Rest assured if leaks are released, or official versions drop, you will see a flurry of activity regarding those builds.

Do you/we know if Sammy is just gunna skip completely over with 4.2.2 and jump straight to 5.0.0 KLP?
5 hasn't been announced at all and not even comfirmed by google but if i remember correctly i think someone said that 4.2.2 was confirmed for the S3 and note II

Ahh okay must've been one of the blog articles I got it confused in thinking KLP would be released for the Note 2.

4.2.2 can pop up any day now for s3 and note2. 5.0 wont be available for a long time (probably will see 4.3 first, and 5.0 will be the last update for note 2).

+1 saw a post somewhere starting that prior releases had the clock time stating the version...last time seen on a gmail release was 4:30... interpret how you please

Isn't the latest official release 4.1.2? What happened to 4.2.1? I'm sure I'm out of the loop on this.
They'll skip over 4.2.1 because it's unnecessary now that 4.2.2 is out

The real trick, is to watch for international release leaks...
Our friends on the other side of the pond will get new releases first, every time. And those builds are generally leaked.
If you see an international note 2 leak that boasts a 4.2.2 build number or higher, then you have cause to celebrate. And only hours later our devs will post the findings.

Some of you guys may remember, some of you may not, but soon after our Note 2 was released there was an avalanche of ROMs for Note 1 with features ported from Note 2, like for instance Airview in gallery and videos (Note 1 didn't have that) and multitasking. Some waited for an official ROM by Samsung, and when it eventually came, with la few months of delay, some of those features ported from Note 2 still weren't included.
What I'm saying here is, instead of waiting for that October release, ( http://youtu.be/VbsAslbUYx0?t=50m52s ) those that know how to port are invited to make cool ROMs that have these kind of features from Note 3 and maybe Samsung Galaxy S4 included. (who knows if Samsung is not going to delay the Note2 update again like it did with Note 1 having in view that Android 4.4 is expected to be launched on Oct 14 or maybe they'll surprise us and the October release will jump directly to KitKat )
Now I don't expect this to be easy, porting apps that were made for Android 4.3 and with FHD screen resolution in mind, but I'm just asking this if it's possible.
If you know such ROMs and I missed them, please post them in this thread. Thanks.

I looked for it on here but couldnt find if it was available or not. I was playing with the note 3 the other day at bestbuy and noticed the difference in the camera app. Has anyone ported it over to note 2? Im running skynote 4.3 rom if that matters. If someone oculd help me out that would be great i really want to flash it to the note 2 if available . thanks

Hello all.. I used to have a T-Mobile s4 and I heavily flashed ROMs on it and did all types of tinkering. I recently got the note 3,and sold my s4.. One thing tho while I had the s4 I had an aosp cam or ge cam not sure which one that had HDR support and it was the best HDR I've ever seen for a camera.. I haven't been able to re locate this camera.. Its not something u can find in the playstore and I haven't had any luck with any others.. If anyone knows anything please help me out! Thanks!
