On Google Plus, the MIUI team stated that the official build of MIUI version 4 (ICS) will be released *THIS FRIDAY*!!!!!
Who else is excited? I am running the beta(ish) build, and it is absolutely amazing. There are some bugs here and their but I am sure they have been corrected. Can't wait!

As long as its good.....it was laggy and buggy as heck on the galaxy nexus. Was super surprised how beta-ish it was. Especially on the galaxy nexus which is pure android.

whats the bet it will be sense based ??.
I'm excited about it...now if I could just get my phone back from HTC.

It's 100 % sense based since they have a working sense camera at least in beta which means sense under the hood

This failed on the sensation and did not last very long and future updates finished before the thing even really started.

Sorry, I'm leaving

I just have to say that I'm leaving this forum because I have a new tmobile upgrade and I am recieving a Samsung Galaxy S3 in a few weeks.
What I have left to do before I loose my Wildfire S:
* Finish my Downgrader Tool
* Complete my ROM
* Helping PORT Jelly Bean 4.1 to the wfs to boot (maybe)
Sorry to hear you're leaving.
Do you really have to leave though? Maybe just develop less for the WFS but every now and again, do a little WFS developing?
Have fun with the GS3!

Not familiar with Cyanogenmod

I've been following the development of Cyanogenmod 9 and 10 with growing interest and with the roms growing ever nearer to completion I was wondering if someone could tell me what the advantages are of Cyanogenmod 9 & 10 (other than being Jelly Bean).
What exactly are the advantages of CM over the Stock HTC roms?
cyanogen is a mod that every one from a android newbie to Google Android creator's knows... in simple words it gives u experience of stock ics or jb as it shld and released by Google and without any useless stuffs or ui's that are forced into ur phone against ur wish by the manufacturer i hope now its clear? if u wanna know more ask ur friend Google. com

That's how far my knowledge already went, I guess what I'm trying to figure out is, how does it compare to stock HTC on the One V? Faster/More stable? Any features that the stock lacks?
It can he a bit fester, because its missing the bloatware and ofcause its Vater because cm10 runs JB . And in asome Roms there are New tweaks linke the statusbar control.

Yes, if Lloir and maxwen see that cm9 still needs another RC (Release Candidate) Then yes they will release another RC before Final.

Which Rom is better ?

I want to flash a Rom which look awesome , I am thinking of flash
Orio
Renovated
Which one do you guys suggest?
Or any others Rom that you think is better
+Must JB
Thank you
They're all very good. I like InsertCoin as it has the 4.2 camera preinstalled, and OrDroid because YouTube seems smoother.

how to install ordroid give me step by step method right now m on CM 10
I'd not be confident giving you a step by step guide. Chances are you'll need to update your Hboot to 1.36 (or the latest 1.39), so the first step will be seeing if this is possible with your phone's CID.

My recommendation: Insert Coin :good:
one of the best ROM's i tried
Hi guys,
I bought a One X and now I am thinking about which custom ROM to flash. I really loved Leedroid on my Desire because of the Sense, but I saw there has been no update since a while on Leedroid for One X. But I don't know how important updates are here.
I am thinking about
.) Leedroid
.) Clean Rom
.) Insertcoin
.) Ordroid
I know, it is rather subjective, but can anyone tell me the major differences in a noob-proof way and may give me advice?
Thanks a lot!

Renovate gives you the option to choose between sense or non-sense installation.
Ordroid is complete sense but it gives you OTA updates.. So thats a big plus.
Im currently on ARHD 17.1..

Finally I choose The Renovated

What they mean with OTA? Will the rom get updates from HTC?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
OTA means over the air
And it means htc gives u update

Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
oh man there are so many custom roms for the one x and i just don't know whicht to choose.
renovate
insertcoin
cleanrom
orio
ordroid
leedroid
...
i just don't know the difference.. can somebody tell me, what to choose at best?
i love sense and i need two-way-call-recording-ability and i appreciate long battery life.
tbh there are no big differences between sense roms at the moment. just try the one you liked most :>

Why do you think that happend?
Nothing about this on HTC Website.
As far as I remember, HTC said, that the HOV is not performant enough for 4.1

Ok. Then maybe it will come later.
By now, there is no update via OTA available.
Which customer service center your friend contacted? and if update is coming soon, then also i don't want to downgrade my hov from 4.2.2 to 4.1.1
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
As of now we have no official Android 4.1.1 update. We were abandoned at ICS. If we were to ever get the update, it would be Sense 4.+ lite, which is the same as what the Desire X has.
HTC officially said that devices with 512mb ram won't be updated to jellybean. So it must be a fake rumor
Nope it's impossible
