There was one in development but the developer broke his phone or something. We do have cyanogenmod7 though and it works well thanks to Eugene

MIUI is based off of CM and we do not have an official release. Eugene has been painstakingly fixing the first release of CM7 from Slayher who was deployed.

I have a booting base of MIUI that I have been working on... Still working on getting modem working.. Once that is fixed I will release a beta, but no sense in releasing until we can make calls with it..

Guys dark knight ROM is one of themost used ICS ROMs, why should nasif lie and release a fake?

It works. It also has the navigation bar and it shows everything in settings. I have not been able to get WiFi to work, but I'm sure that when Nasif gets home and explains how to get it to work, we will know how to get WiFi to work.:highfive:

The presentation of his roms is usually not perfect, but his work is very good.

i tested it.
it does boot. and it is jb.
camera app is opening but can't take photos because of a "missing storage" warning. also can't take screenshots.
wlan is showing up in the sattings but does not work either
i got softkeys and screen looks distorted.
rom is running very smooth.

Bad news... ATM it only works with epic modem...
Good news again.... we can wait for xboxfanj, didhiy, milky1112 and bbelos... the best and fastest ns4g modem patchers to make a modem patch for the new cm10 nightly.
I'm back on preview rom so I'm goinna wait for our buddies to do their thing... (hint hint)
Well as far as I could tell vwhile being on it for 20 minutes if u dirty flash... all ur apps will be on it... but if you are on the ns4g modem patch u MUST flash a epic modem until a custom one is released... everything works fine. And the kernel for it is also 3.x.x... super fast kernel... fastest nightly to come out too. The devs are on another level now... let's just hope we can keep up with them

Oh yeah if downloading this nightly from rom manager it should only take about 2 minutes max on a good 3g connection.. I had 2 bars and it downloaded super fast with the KL2 modem patch

Nexus modem won't go through.. on both preview patch and kang patch... only works with the epic modems as much as i can see... so yeah no service and unknown baseband.

How are the roaming settings? The preview wouldn't stick any selection other than home only.

I think its because maybe u did the preview patch... idk why but I did the same and it also was 901... maybe because its meant for preview only... who knows

yes maybe the patch just for preview only, 0904 to 0901 the build.prop was changed because the patch (CMIIW)

The patch contains a modified build.prop, which stores the build date (among many other things).
Speaking of which, I would like to remind everyone that any bug reports coming from an Unofficial cm10 build, or a modified/patched Official cm10 build (modem patch, kernels, etc.) should be directed to the originating thread. It is hard enough to provide bug support for the official releases without having to worry about bugs that may have been introduced by outside means. Bug reports are very welcome if you can reproduce them after flashing back to an official, stock build. We do want to be able to fix all the things. Thank you.

[Q] GPS issue with CM9 by modpunk

Hi
I'm busy trying some custom ROM as i wanted to upgrade to android 4 (mainly for FLAC compatibility), to have app2sd and for the fun too
I first tried CyanogenMod 10.0.0-RC0 marvel/marvelc ALPHA0 by modpunk then CyanogenMod 9.0.0-RC2 marvel/marvelc ALPHA7 by modpunk and Cyanogenmod 10 builds (WIP) [MARVEL] [UNOFFICIAL] by benjamin.
I know none are "stable" ROM but anyway they are working quite good.
With the first, i had 3G issue so i forget about it.
With the 2 other, i could not manage to make the GPS to work.
On CM9, the icon show that the gps is working, but it's keeping trying to catch the signal or something else, i let it about 15-20 minuts but no position available...
On CM10 by benjamin, the icon doesn't even show up...
As my phone is my only GPS, i need this funcyionnality.
Any way to make it working?

That doesn't work for me. I notice my GPS is showing 0 for the latitude and longitude on a app to get the data. Its like it isnt trying to use the GPS at all.
Any ideas I can try? I would really like to have a working GPS again.
My Carrier for this phone is US Cellular. And its not a buzz so does anyone know where to get the correct radio for CM9 by cryptomilk if thats the issue?

My advice is to use SpeedDroid ROM.Is CM9 ics bases 4.0.3 or 4.0.4 and GSP IS WORKING FOR ME.

Does it support the CM9 Themes? And will I have to resetup apps and such? If so can you tell me where to get it so I dont get the wrong version?

Nope doesn't work... Not for my phone apparently.

There's nothing to do. I've tried to get devs to fix it, helping with logcats that had the error. But I always get ignored. You have a marvelc brother and we are not especially welcome here.

If i wasnt gettin a new phone in a couple weeks id be trying to fix it myself... But i wouldnt know where to start with it or how.
And yea most sites most members seem to be focused on not helpin anyone but themselves. Oh well i guess thanks to those that helped out.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with GPS on any of the roms I've used. That said, I'm currently using Whompasaurus ROM And it's working just fine

thanks i think the problem is roms based on CM since i tried avatar and pacman and still no gps

Just flash a touchwiz based ROM walk GPS shut it down and then flash cm and you'll be fine

PAC of ICE has confirmed working GPS. Been using it everyday. Have it on the SlimRom I'll be releasing soon too, not all CM based stuff has issues

RootBox gps is working great for me. That's an aosp rom

Never seen anything on gps not working on any roms. Have you tried touchwiz based roms and seen if gps works? Maybe it's the phone hardware?
