Edit: 4.2 camera fc when scene is on "auto" change it to action as a work around and turn off store location until someone works out the kinks.

Weird I pushed the original gallery2.apk and the 4.2 camera works now

I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1970957 for the camera. I uninstalled the original camera/gallery and flashed this zip. Everything works great... only FCs if u take a single shot, with flash on, ONLY IF YOU DONT TOUCH TO FOCUS FIRST. Photosphere also works

Okay yeah, it's the same apk but gmail play store clock wallet and other gapps are included in the compiled zip.
Edit just tested some more, it freezes with or without flash

I found something even better (in my opinion):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1980828
In the GS3 I9300 forum, someone posted an Aroma Installer version of the 4.2 Gapps that works for BOTH AOSP and Samsung-based ROMs. I flashed it on my SGH-T999 (T-Mobile GS3) and EVERYTHING works perfectly without FCs. Actually, the camera still FCs if you don't manually focus first, but that seems to be a problem we can't get rid of just yet. Everything works in AOSP ROMs, but the email and lockscreen font apps don't work in Samsung-based ROMs.
All the 4.2 Gapps features like camera, desk clock, lockscreen font, email, emoji keyboard, gmail, google now, keyboard, launcher, market, play music and also nexus 4 sounds, wallpapers and bootanimation are present and working. Since these files are all in one Aroma Installer, you can flash them all at once or pick and choose. The guy who posted it is Zoot1 and I think he did a good job. The OP of this thread did good too, but this might make things much simpler. Again, it's safe for SGH-T999 (T-Mobile GS3) and likely for all versions of GS3.

I also found an easy root method that'll I'll post as soon as I get to a computer, you guys will love it... Well the newcomers will lol.

How can I remove gapps 4.2 and go back to 4.1.2? I seem to have them both installed, but the camera on 4.2 won't work at all for me on CM10. I'm still pretty noob and would like to not have to resort to formatting. Thanks!

Flashed this twice checking every option to install, even bootanim and sounds, and when i reboot it does the "Android is Upgrading" thing which is probably normal, but then none of the new apps, wallpapers, sounds, or anything are actually installed on my device. Everything is the same.
whats goin onnnnn?

Same thing happened to me, I'm running Liquid Smooth RC7.

Maybe I'm an idiot but I didn't see much of a change at all. I'm running CM10. I installed and I already had the key board, market, and gmail installed. Now I don't see the sounds or the wallpapers. My boot animation didn't change, no font changes, and no sound. I also opted out of the camera install.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2

seems as if the changes arent happening at all or arent sticking to CM10 roms, hope someone can come up with a fix besides manually pushing

Hmmmm im not sure I actually flashed using a quick flash zip and changed it to the aroma one because it seems more feasible. I haven't really tried the aroma one. There's also the flashable zip in at&t forum. Check that out guys

I found one using his vague directions to look in the AT&T (I'm assuming SG3) forum. I didn't see one zip in the post I found but like 6 different zips with various combinations of 4.2 Gapps..
I love the laziness of posting something you didn't find or flash yourself and then not even showing the decency to update the dam OP.

Just so everyone knows, this is missing GSF. I tried getting the one from the nexus 4 system dump but it doesnt work (api compatibily?) but if you are going to flash this make sure you get another GSF.

Lol my problem is people half a$$'d posting. When asked about the issue with what they posted (here's the ringer) "Oh I didn't even flash that one".
Sometimes it's better not to post at all if you aren't going to do it responsibly.. PLEASE tell me I'm outta line for expecting that much, "bro".
Also we are all adults, is name calling really necessary? Maybe getting called out hit a nerve...

Maybe your own laziness is what's bothering you. Why didn't you flash from my original post that linked directly to the att one? Or did you not see it? Did you not put together that my original post had the att link but I edited it because of someone else's opinion. I mean the guy gave a thorough explanation of it, so it was safe to assume it worked. Maybe the op of the thread he linked changed the installer causing it not to work anymore. You should think before you start calling other people out. I was planning to test the aroma installer that the guy suggested, but I don't have all the time in the world. Anyways JusTun updated their installer to include 4.2 gapps now, and I already updated the op to include it. Now stop being an a$$

{ROM} [Sprint][CDMA][EXT4] Samsung Galaxy Tab (SPH-P100) 1n1tia|C0ntact_V_1_6

Alright all you XDA SGT users I humbly submit my custom ROM!
This is the first release of the AlienInc Roms rightly named 1n1tia|C0ntact. Inside you will find themed UI, wallpaper (please note the new live wallpaper "Node Battle"), some of my favorite apks, debloated and ready to roll. Oh yeah you will also notice in the screen shots the Over Clocked/Under Volted kernel. I baked in a super stable and very snappy kernel built by Rodderik called LiquidTab. I'm very sure you will enjoy that!
Features:RFS and EXT4 support
Up to 1.2GHz Overclock/undervolt support with Voodoo Support (use voltage control baked in ROM or DL from market)
Custom Theme and UI
Custom Charger sounds
LauncherPro baked in along with touchwiz for your pleasure
Debloated and snappy
working screen capture using stock ROM features(no need for clunky 3rd party stuff)
Evernote
Fancy Widgets
Dropbox
AdAway
ES File Explorer
MyBackup Root
Disclaimer: As with everything else you have found on XDA, neither the staff nor I am responsible for anything that you do to your tab or for anything these files may do to your equipment. All I am able to tell you is that this worked perfectly on my SGT and has worked perfectly on others...no reason to think it will not work on yours.
Recognition section: Obviously big thanks goes to Rodderik for the work done in the "mega thread" and for letting me use his new kernel he is working in my ROM
Insanity213-big help getting me going
S0ckM0nk3y-im off the bench now man! thanks for your help!
Computerkid-all sorts of great input, if you have an epic try his roms
jocala-thanks for testing!
XXCoder - sweet live wallpaper thanks for the tip
Ok so here's the lowdown:
1)visit Rodderik's thread and get your tab in flashing order LINK: [SPRINT][CDMA]Samsung Galaxy Tab (SPH-P100) Mega Development Starter Thread - best case scenario would be to walk through his thread completely first then flash my ROM over top. I recommend you convert to EXT4 to get your speed on
2) download my ROM Mirror or MAIN DOWNLOAD
3) flash via your newly installed CWM
a) you know the drill on the 2 finger boot into recovery(volume up and power; hold volume up until you see CWM).
b) wipe cache x3, wipe data x3, wipe dalvik cache x3 ( no reason to worry about losing any info because you just followed Rodderik's install process, right?)
c) select install zip from sd and choose the file
4) ROM will reboot and you will be off to a fresh start
5) tell your friends about how fun and fast this ROM is
ENJOY!
Reserved...not sure why, but thats what people do
Once more, just to make post count 567
Looks interesting. Might just tempt me away from CM7 for a couple days...
Seeing as how no one responded yet...ill be the first public viewer to respond and flash. =)

Sure thing! So did you convert up to EXT4?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I did...or so i think i did, via option 2 on the prereq page (Mega starter etc etc).
I ended up using the kernel with EXT4 and CWM. I checked to see if CWM was installed, which it was...so as far as EXT4 being converted, would their be a real test or for me to know for sure?
forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17817306&postcount=5
So if you read through this post you will see the cwm flashable conversion tools. You can do it anytime. You will notice a difference. Things will be noticably snappy.
Thanks for flashing!

I've never tried it on a verizon tab, but I've heard you can flash cdma roms across those carriers. 3g works on sprint on this rom. If you flash it on your verizon the 3g won't work, your tab will be wifi only. Again, I've not tested it personally. Give it a shot and report back to us if you want.

Not sure if the JustunBean inverted Gapps are still being updated, but I would start there.
I was using this one from Amiblindyet from our section, as it has the popup Quick Reply that I like. Only thing is I found a bug last week where it won't send back to back MMSs. The 2nd would fail for some reason. I tested 2 other MMS.apks and they worked just fine.
Then I saw someone say they used this one from jase33 in the Gnex section (I presume this is the one you were talking about OP that didn't work). It works fine but I found some wierd things. First, don't flash it. Just rename your current MMS.apk to MMS.bak, then unzip the download and pull the MMS.apk and push it to /system/app, set permissions (might need to reboot, might not). Saves you time and if you don't like it, all you have to do is delete that one and rename yours back to normal.
The weird thing I found was that there is a CM and AOKP version. I am on RootBox. The AOKP version didn't work too well for me, but I pushed CM one and it works like a charm. No FCs, everything sends and I have the Quick Reply. Maybe try the other one that you found didn't work.
Thanks for taking the time to answer, I just got back home. I'll try out and download a couple of these and see if they work or are compatible with what I have in the morning

[Share] Various apps themed to look like Galaxy S4 apps

I was looking around some forums for other devices and I came across a thread in the Note 2 Themes and apps forum ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2383758 ) so I decided to try out the themed apps posted (Contacts, Messaging, Phone, Settings, Task Manager, DownloadProvider, File Manager, ClockPackage, Calculator Keyboard) though Settings and Phone wouldn't work (didn't try multiwindow) with our device, I thought this was some pretty cool stuff, and I wanted to share it with all of you. This is not my work, all credits go to Winterlove for these wonderful mods. All information and files needed are in the provided link.

Quick question tho, did you also install tw_framework.res along with sec_contacts like it said? I'm a bit scared to replace framework.res
edit: I have tried- Jobmanager, calculator, SecContacts, SecMMS, Filemanager, and Download Provider and they all work fine. ClockPackage works ok but there are some text color issues on some headers.

Touchwiz Theme Enabler and Theme Collections

Not really sure if this has been posted before, but I got this theme enabler to work on T-mobile Note 4 running Rapture ROM v3.0.
None of this is my work, I will just post the links, please give thanks to the original creators:

I just flashed the ThemeChooser.zip, cleared cache and dalvik, and everything worked fine.

Galaxy S6 theme: I just installed the apk, and it showed up in my themes menu.

And finally, here we have another theme enabler, with a few more themes. I also followed the steps to install this theme enabler, but I noticed no difference from the zip i flashed earlier.
Make sure you set permissions for the folders as rwx-rx-rx and the apps (themes) inside the folders as rw-r-r.
From the package I downloaded, the chinese classic theme was missing but the other three worked after fixing permissions:
Theme enabler, lollipop theme, Note 4 pro theme, G3 theme
And here are a few more confirmed working on my phone:
Custom Themes by CasTTeLLo
As far as these themes go, they seem to only change your icons and wallpaper, nothing very special, but I'm hoping to see more progress on this.
Also, if you find more themes, please share them with us.
I would also like to know what other ROMs these themes are compatible with.
And don't forget to thank the creators of all these goodies!
Will this work with xposed?
I have no clue.
I guess the fastest way to find out is to do a backup and try it out. If it doesn't, just restore.
Or you could read through all the threads and see if you find any info, though I've read through a few, and found nothing on the subject.

No problem.
Are you also on Rapture ROM, or a different one?

Thanks for pointing that out.
It did the same to my phone, but hadn't even noticed 'till I read your post.
So I went to the link in my OP with the first theme chooser zip, and on page 7 found the fix for this.
Tried it on my phone, and it's working fine.
Let me know if it works on yours, and what ROM you are using, please.
Here's the fix, please thank the creator

I noticed after i flashed it and played with it for a while that it kills your quick tiles in the stock messenger as well.

When you open up your stock messenger (text program) you can assign priority contacts at the top (it creates a quick tile with a picture of who you want to text instead of scrolling through your contacts). Once i flashed this, they disappeared, flashed a backup and they came back. I will try again later and flash the themer again and see if they go away again or if i just had a bad flash the first time.

Eh, never tried that.
Is it where it says "tap to add priority senders"?
If so, I just did that, and now I have a list of people I selected right at the top, so it's working fine for me.
Maybe it erases them if they are previously set, but it looks like you're able to set them up again.

I use them a lot, once i flashed they were completely gone and couldn't set back up, I'll try later and flash again, but i also heard 5.1 is going to incorporate themes into the note 4.

That would be sweet, as the official theme store has a much wider selection, and they are true themes, changing the entire ui and other settings and menus.
But I think it will be a while till we get the official t-mobile update?

I have compiled all the marvel avenger and material themes from the theme store into a zip so someone can hopefully make them vr themes flashable or add it to the theme engine i tried just adding in in stock note 4 with theme engine but nothing showed up
