[Q] Goodness 4.0 question!!! Hotspot Hack???? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm running Goodness 4.0 rom on my Sprint SGS3. I noticed in the Rom Updater menu under Bug Fixes that theres a zip called "Hotspot Hack". When you download it it gives you a file called "jb_hotspothack". I of course thought that was going to fix the JB hotspot issue but when I flash it nothing happens. At least not from what I can tell. Can anyone explain to me this is. Your response is greatly appreciated.

Why did you start a topic for this, when you had already posted the same question in a separate q&a thread?

A good start would be using the search bar, several threads concerning this issue.

Install FoxFi or Wifi Tether from the market should work. Both work fine in my TMobile S2(flashed to same Mr. X's ROM).

Adding Wifi Calling to CM10

Has anybody had any progress on implementing IMS-based wifi calling onto CM10 yet?
It's open source. I can't link to the googlecode repository because I'm a noob on this forum. Just google "the-ims-open-source-project-for-android."
Why is it that no one has done this yet? If anybody has any info on this, I would like to try developing this.
Not gonna happen.

[Q] Working Native Sprint Hotspot Mod

Just saw this thread over on the Sprint GS3 forums for a working native sprint hotspot mod...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224083
I installed on my wifes GS3 and it works flawlessly (more stable than Treve). I looked but couldn't find anything similar for the N2.
Would anyone be able to port this mod over for our N2s? Or if this is already available for the N2, can someone point me where to get it?
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.
Sent pm to op on other thread, hope it will work on N2

I have a modifed version of NoWizAospMod.
I downloaded one of the Zips from the S3 and found the place the mod was needed.
I found the same place in our file..made the mod and it worked.
I will attach the services.jar file. This is where the change is.
Put in in your system/framework directory set permissions and reboot.
I will writeup a howto for the Note II this weekend.
Cool, would it be safe if I flash this file with the Macksrom Allstar 3.5 or should I just wait until you give the write up?

I dont think many mods affect the services.jar file. I think it would work.
Make a backup first...just in case.

There's a flashable mod in Development that does this. Works fine with NoWizAOSPmodv1.4.7. Any MA7 ROM should work.

WiFi calling on aokp tOlte unofficial ROM?

Is this feature in my ROM or am I missing something ? Can't seem to locate it in settings
As you would normally find it in stock touch wiz ROM.I kinda need it due to weak cell signal in my area .

It is only on tw based ROMs and only tmo based. Also on a side note, please try searching a bit before starting threads. You've made multiple threads asking very easily searched questions. This one is a prime example as there is even a bounty trying to get a dev to get it working. Not trying to be harsh, just wanting to help you get the most out if xda.

Vibration Notifications

For anyone that is using JellyBam ROM v 7.8.0 on T-Mobile Galaxy S3 T999
For some reason I'm my notifications do not vibrate, then only make the ringtone sound..I use LightFlow for all my notifications, it was working before, I must've disabled an option in Settings, if anyone can help I would appreciate it
Wrong section...this belongs in Q&A, not development.
Have you tried asking in that particular ROM thread?
can't find a thread for it

Ummm, ok, well where did you get it? Each Rom is generally released in its own thread.

If I'm not mistaken, JellyBam for banned from XDA.
Oh really?
May not be the best place to look for support for it then?
I hadn't heard of it before tbh. Must've been released somewhere though so that's probably the best place for OP to start.
