It's been 30 mins, I pull the battery out, try to get in download/recovery mode and nothing will happen. Won't even charge properly or connect to the computer. I've looked at this link but it requires having it connect to a computer.

What the hell happened to my phone and what can I do to fix it? I don't care if the whole thing is factory reset.
Edit: Finally got it to respond to download mode. Now trying to restore it to FC09

Make sure you have a good cable and use the PIT file.

[Q] Galaxy Nexus bricked?

So my galaxy nexus is bootlooping after an attempt at restoring to a nandroid backup. What is weird is the fact that whenever I enter CWM recovery the screen gets scrambled and I can't do anything, then it restarts. I'm not sure what's going on. So I tried to use ODIN to get back to stock, and the screen froze and I took a picture of it. I pulled the battery, now the phone doesn't turn on. Help?

So I can now get into download mode, but I'm not sure if it'll work. I read somewhere that this may be the CPU acting up, and potentially being fried.

[Q] Bricked T-Mobile Galaxy S3, Advice Needed

My friend talked me into rooting his S3 last night and that went well, but then he googled around and saw that in order to install cyanogenmod you needed to update your bootloader. He pointed me to the thread, I downloaded it for him, installed it, but when I rebooted the phone it showed no signs of life.
Is there any hope for this? I tried the debricking method found in this forum but that does absolutely nothing.
Odin to stock
Try the debrick method again and double check you are following everything exactly as stated. Ask for help there if needed
also have read that sometimes takes more than one try and also maybe try with different SD card.

Bootloop wiithout Recovery access (Always enters WMShua)

I have a S4 Mini (I9195 LTE) with a Bootloop problem, I already tried to flash CWM, TWRP, stock ROMs from Sam Mobile, CM-12. All of them with Odin or Heimdall (both of them when possible) and I always get the succeed message, but when I try to enter Recovery Mod (before regular boot) I receive the WMShua Recovery showed on the attached SS, and when I let the cellphone boot it just Bootloop. I hope the IMG files can help to figure out what's going on and hopefully someone can help me solve it.
Thank you

First time trouble rooting an android device.

Hello xda
I'm trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S8+ SM-G955U. I've never rooted a phone before and I seem to be running into trouble. I have download the correct version of Odin and what I believe to be the correct software, although I am a bit fuzzy on how to transfer everything over to my phone. I have developer options and USB debugging turned on. However OEM is not in my developer options and every time I try and connect my phone to my computer I get and error message. Ill attach a few screen shots for reference. I have the latest USB drivers. Can I fix this? Can I still root my S8+?
Thank You
