This is exciting. I love CM10, yet I do miss some of the jelly bean touchwiz features. Namely the music player. Battery drain was horrendous on the Li8 leak and I hope the cell standby issue doesn't rear its head again.
Wildchild ... patiently awaiting your new release I wish I had more free time nowadays

Ok Deodexed is now done....

I'm sure Doc will be posting the modem/radio but EVERYONE should Odin to clean release. If you don't expect errors!!!

How do I get root after Odin from wicked v7 ics? or should I just wait for root66 jellybean Odin?
or wait. Should I just Odin to root66 ICS, use voodoo rootkeeper, ota to jellybean?

open odin
connect phone to computer
you should see to the top right of the odin screen under ID the box turn yellow and a com and number, if not you need to have to drivers installed.
If you do see the yellow box with the com + a number then click on PDA to the middle right of the screen.
Now find the .TMB file where you have extracted to and select it.
now click start and wait for the rom to finish flashing.

From what I heard, tethering isn't the ROM issue, it's the app issue where it needs to support JB

[ROM][12/8]Stock L900VPALK8 - Odex and Deodex - UPDATED AGAIN

Hi guys, here are odex and deodex versions of LK8. Please follow the guide below for the best way to get onto LK8.
Odin to LJC (need to go back to completely stock for OTA updates)
Apply the update.zip to LK8 via stock recovery
Install TWRP (Use the Odin method, otherwise you will have to us CF Auto-Root and take extra steps)
Reboot to recovery and flash one of the LK8 .zips from here
This method assures you get onto the latest radio, as well as having the latest firmware.
Note: You may be able to do this via a one click LJC package, but I have not tested this. If this works, start at step 3.
Note: You may be able to just flash one of these .zips and apply the updates manually, but again, I have not tested this either.
Changlog from LJC:
Waking with home button no longer exits the foreground app
Issues:
None
Credits:
Team Sextape for the leak and one-click

LK8 Odex Framework Fix - md5sum - e4a056e076e64d857cb4fbe505bfc4da - Mirror <-- applies to anyone who flashed LK8 Odex before 12/7 @ 6PM EST. /system/framework is deodexed but should be odexed on the odex build.
S Note Crash Fix <-- Applied to any build (odex or deodex) flashed before 12/8 @ 2AM EST
There are only a few slight changes made to this over stock...
boot.img has modified for init.d support
enabled mock locations
enabled USB Debugging
unsecured kernel and swapped /sbin/adbd with one from the Galaxy Nexus (allows /system remount)
removed /system/etc/install-recovery.sh (not needed)
removed /system/etc/security/otacerts.zip (prevents nagging OTA message that won't apply on a rooted system anyway)
CSC files from LJC (removed non-Sprint CSC files as well)

Due to the all of the confusion the last time I will not be publicly posting the Odex / De-Odex ROMs for the MC2 update. They would not include the correct kernel anyway. This is because, once the update.zip is applied and you have stock unrooted MC2, in order to gain root you have to install the latest insecure boot.img which just happens to be MA7 and NOT MC2. Once I extract or find the full MC2 kernel I will release them publicly.

By using the latest insecure boot(MA7), what would we lose?
Thanks for everything!
So this is safe to flash, if rooted and on Stock MA7, and not loose root, or use Root Keeper prior then take, or flash OTA and re apply root keeper again ??

Your sboot.bin is named Sboot.bin in the zip and the script is calling for sboot.bin. should be able to change the Sboot.bin to sboot.bin and get it working.

[ROM/Kernel/Modem/Rec][Oct-13] I317-UCAMH3 Stock Rooted Odex and De-Odex - Sep-13 OTA

Here are a set of packages flashable from a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP) that are based completely on the September 2013 UCAMH3 stock OTA for the AT&T I317 in all their bloated glory.
These packages are intended only for the AT&T version of the Note 2.
The odex package contains the stock files after the OTA update less bootloader and recovery. It includes Chainfire's SuperSU and Linus Yang's build of busybox. It installs the UCAMH3 kernel and the modem.
Want to stay close to stock? OTA process not working on your phone? Prefer odex for the speed? This is the package for you...
The de-odex package was created with the current 2.0 version of smali/baksmali and current Android SDK zipalign using a version of Daneshm90's Auto-Deodexer script which I updated for this effort. The de-odex package also includes SuperSu and busybox, but does not install the kernel or modem. :good:
Both of these packages completely replace the contents of the system partition. If you are coming from another stock-based I317 firmware wipes should not be necessary.
For completeness's sake I've included separate packages for the kernel, modem, and recovery.
AT&T UCAMH3 i317 *Odexed* Stock CWM Note 2 (includes kernel and modem)
AT&T UCAMH3 i317 *Deodexed* Stock CWM Note 2
CWM AT&T i317 UCAMH3 Stock *Kernel* Note 2
CWM AT&T i317 UCAMH3 Stock *Modem* Note 2
CWM AT&T i317 UCAMH3 Stock *Recovery* Note 2
If you are new to custom recoveries here are links specific to the I317 (AT&T Note 2):
PhilZ Advanced CWM Edition
TWRP Recovery
Thanks to qkster for helping test the odex package
Thanks to 147aaron, Guitarboarder28, and lownox for the UCAMH3 modem - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448927
Thanks to Chainfire for SuperSu (consider donating or buying pro version)
Thanks to Linus Yang for the busybox build
Thanks to Daneshm90 for the original Auto-Deodexer script

This should work, but for best results you can always Odin back to ucama4 and take the ota update that way... I recommend being cautious about that though because ATT now has a locked bootloader policy and there is a very good chance that the 4.3 update will have a locked boot loader... Meaning no custom recovery and no custom Roms... Check out the MF3 update for the SGS4 to see what I mean.
