Has this worked for anyone else? All it did was disable my search button? (Long press still works though?)

I just bought the super smart phone Htc OneX with viperX rom, but i have problem with auto-rotation. My phone does not rotate any thing . please how i can solve this problem. Is it hardware problem or software? what can i do? it is really disturb me, Any body here faced like this issue?

Try to flash an aosp rom and look if it's working...just to make sure if it's hardware issue or not.

got it to work again by flashing stock rom, flash 4.2.1 by codefire, the gps is now working, but it doesnt get locked!!!
it stays forever searching and bleaking!!!!

btw.. the step was...
flash stock
reboot bootloader.. flash radio pm..89.zip... cant remember the exact name...
flash 4.2.1... gps works... but no fix location...

In Recovery it says 4.2 Version ...So it was the same in CM10.1 roms ... and it does not work in PACman 23 ...

I'm saying that there's nothing wrong with this app. It's a problem with the rom.

You can try to remove camera and install gave my camera
for this

uninstall gallery and reboot system
see the menu should not appear and go to recovery and install

Buddy, I know camera does not work in PACMAN ... but I was thinking it will but it Cannot ... there is ROM bug ...

Its the same updater-script but a different camera app. That's 4.2 this is 4.3. Cw3tai based it off cyber.predator's zip.

Flash my ROM HYD52ROM. Its has music enhancement of viper audio. Sound is super good.

Yes, But You Have To Install Stock Recovery For That(Not A Big Deal)
And For Installing You Need TWRP Recovery.

You fixed nothing, the sound it's the same, like a phone sound. You want sound go buy JBL Speakers.
Dude, before you reply to me learn to read, i was talking about a louder volume on your earphones and speaker connected to your phone because the European ROM is just not loud enough.

Well to be honest, it actually isn't all the same because it's only locked for like portable speakers / Headphones from your 3.5MM Jack
I do not intend to discuss further about this, simply to avoid hassles.

Actually i still can't find a way to downgrade my device to it's original state. 4.2.2.
I installed 4.2.2 Beta with your ROM and TWRP recovery.
Sorry for asking again but how can i downgrade to 4.2.2, remove the custom ROM, and TWRP...
I've been searching the web for days

When you install the stock recovery you can go in the recovery by pressing the volume up&down buttons simultaneously while booting the phone and from there you can install the stock rom 4.2.2 by dload/update.app method. You just need to download the proper stock rom you want (like B125 or B132) from here and put it in your sd card.
