[Theme][MOD]Protocol 1.3 +[11/21/2012] - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

Theme for the ATT Note II. This theme is going to bring back the ICS blue colors that I love as well as add a few cool features and mods.
Mods
-Removed Carrier Label
-Removed clock (in no clock version)
-LiDroid 15 toggle (themed)
-Unlocked native tether
-Remove ongoing wifi notification
Themed
-SystemUI Text
-Clock text in both status bar and pull down
-status bar icons
To install, you must be on a de-odexed AT&T Touchwiz ROM with a custom recovery (I use CWM). (Have a backup just in case)
Flash the zip in your recovery.

I think it might have been because I pulled the SystemUI after running the 15 toggle. Do you mind trying the latest and letting me know how it goes?

My status bar/notification is missing

Is there anyway to have this theme without the 15 toggle mod?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2

So does that mean it worked with the 15 toggle?
If you send me your SystemUI (without the 15 toggle installed) I can push what I have done so far over.

Haven't tried yet....will soon...keep you posted

Works flawless. Wondering about the stock toggle mod. Thanks.

Actually kinda liking the 15 toggle mod. Thanks man!

About to nandroid and try try this out.

Great theme, exactly what I was looking for. Just my taste, except for one thing... I could do with out the carrier in the top left corner. I know it's to indicate if we have a connection or not, but it's just rare to go anywhere without one for me. So it kind of annoys me, because I could just scroll the status bar down if I wanted to know if I was connected or not. Pet peeve, but other than that, thanks for the theme.
Also, with the 15 toggle mod, is the brightness slider necessary? I could do without that too, if you can remove those two things this would be perfect IMHO. Thanks again. :good:

Thanks! I'm still working on it. Not sure if I will remove the slider or not. I'm still trying to figure out how to remove the carrier label on the jb xml files. Time is tight right now but I'll get around to it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app

I removed the carrier label for you.

Happy holidays! Hope to have some more stuff out to you guys soon.

Updated again. Will be working on app icons next (probably)
And then look out for a black & white theme!

The No clock 1.3 mod leaves my notification bar blank on the home screen.
edit... Nevermind, it started working after I hit send. All good now.

[Theme] OceanBlue |Juggernat5.0|DarksideDWF|UPDATED 4/14/12

This theme is a port and a combination of a lot of my own work. The original was posted here http://www.matcl.com/index.php?mid=pxeboard19. It also incorporates a lot of the ICS feel in some aspects.
What’s themed:
~ Framework.res
~ TWFramework.res
~ SystemUI.apk
~ Contacts.apk
~ Phone.apk
~ Settings.apl
~ MMS.apk
~ TouchWiz30Launcher.apk
~ More to come (I love this theme)
NOTE... if you have am pm showing with the clock it won't fit in the blue area, small am pm fits ok. If enough people want ill post a fix.
Also not all fonts will work well.
INSTALLATION:
1. NANDROID BACKUP Always
2. Download Theme.zip via link below.

[FIXED 4/27/12!] swipe away notifications for Darkside Digital Warfare 2.5/2.6

huge thanks to hansip87 for the help (he's an awesome resource, definitely deserves some donations) and to leomar for the additional guidance for porting to samsung devices.. And to Towle for pointing me to the guide!
for those that are rocking the stock Darkside digital warfare 2.5 UI, this flashable zip will make it so that you can swipe notifications away either to the left or the right from the pull down window.
for those that use my colored mods and want to see this function in the one you use, PM me or post here and i will do my best to fulfill all requests!
instructions:
flash the zip in Clockworkmod recovery
wait a couple minutes for phone to boot
if systemui (notification tray at the top) does not appear on first boot, don't worry just reboot and it should be fine.
let me know if you have any issues !
since the only flag that would effect systemui.apk is the nobatt flag, there is only need for two versions:
Download stock here
Download here for NOBATT flag
FIX FOR BLUETOOTH ICON ( 4/27/12 ) if you use bluetooth, you may have noticed that when you connect to something via bluetooth, the icon doesn't reflect that. it just stays on the gray icon indicating bluetooth is on but not connected. the following cwm-flashable zip will fix that! Doesn't matter which version you have, this is only replacing the framework.jar so everyone that has the swipeable notifications mod should flash this too!
BT ICON FIX
Thanks again, PM me or Post here if you have any problems
Yes please Im running -wipe-notw-nobatt-volwake blue theme
Nice job bro.... Pm sent.
Thanks for your help.
EDIT : IT WORKS GREAT DUDE... THANKS A LOT.
Custom color + Swipe notifications + ICS animations + 75 % transparency pull down.

cool i was wondering why you asked for me to mod your juggernaut systemui.apk
...
if you have the stock Systemui.apk from juggernaut 5, try flashing this one in recovery:

did you want the am/pm removed as well? it prevents overlap of the statusbar icons and the clock. if so, here it is :
Red-themed, clear pulldown, swipe notifications, center clock/no ampm/no alarm clock
i also have it with the aosp wifi icons, but no battery % on icon:
red-themed, clear pulldown, swipe notifications, aosp wifi, centerclock/noampm/no alarmclock
and here's a red one but with ics animations and normal clock:
red-themed, clear pulldown, swipe notifications, aosp wifi, ics animations
Digging the red and the blue ics can you make one that the pull down is clear

[THEME/MOD][AROMA][ICS] Style your ROM your way v2

ROM developers already spend enough time to provide a quality product, but not all of us are always 100% happy with the way the ROM looks. Theme developers will make different themes for a particular ROM, but even still not everyone wants every change introduced in the theme. It can be cumbersome for developers and themers alike to thoroughly please each of its followers. That's where I'd like to change the game with the GSIII - rather than having to rely on a themer to make something that looks close to what you'd like, you'll be put in the driver seat and choose your own modifications.
What options are you presented with?
- Battery style
- Clock position and color (stock grey or ics blue)
- Brightness slider (won't work on stock ROMs)
- Placement of the date/clear button bar
- Transparency % of the notification area
- Lidroid toggle style (keep your current or use my slimmed ICS blue ones)
- Number of lidroid toggles shown w/o scrolling
- Text labels or not below those toggles
However, these changes can't be made possible without a little side effect. In this first version, the style of the clock, date, clear button, and toggles use the ICS blue color. In future versions of the theme system, additional styles will be provided!
Thanks
@amarullz - Aroma intaller
@scrosler - Web Space
@boynamedstacy - Tester
@gzsmooth - Tester
@kennyglass123 - Tester
Installation Instructions
- Flash with your recovery of choice
- On your first round of things, use the "Create master backup" option in the menu. This will create an ultimate restore point of what your phone currently looks like. You will always be able to restore back to this point if you wish!
- Flash the zip again in the same recovery session (I'll make this more streamlined in the next update)
- Theme things as you wish
- Reboot your phone and enjoy
Download v2.0
Hit thanks, enjoy the theme edits, and let me know what you'd like in future versions!
Changelog
Version 2.0
- Choose to keep your current battery style or select a new one
- Added grey color to the clock options
- Added additional transparency levels (every 10% increment)
- Script will detect if you have the toggle mod installed
- Allowed to choose to keep current lidroid toggle style
- Can create an ultimate restore point
Version 1.0
- Battery styles
- Center/right ICS blue clock
- Date/clear button placement bar
- Lidroid toggles theming (must be installed)
- Transparency of pulldown background

As for suggestions, transparent status bar would be nice but I don't think it's been done yet, right? The evo lte has that stock so it's got to be possible. When I had a kindle fire I was trying to do it myself but never got anywhere...

Flashing multiple mods is hit or miss cause they all mess with the system ui, gotta choose wisely lol!
I'm mixing and matching theme elements, modded status bar from this, status bar transparency from the other. I already had the 15 toggle mod installed, didn't theme it with the aroma installer, it still works.

Same her 9wire...I havent tried the 15 toggles though I left stock..but kinda been building like yourself here and there..looking good so far... Am gonna try the 15 toggles now though..
It does matter the order you flash stuff, this theme changed my status bar icons, but I lost transparency, I can just flash the trans mod after the aroma installer and have its icons on a transparent status bar though, you can even do it in the same session.
I'm on the modded 7105 multi window rom, and the 4 way restart works.
I did something dumb just now, was changing my wallpaper with an app, thought I somehow borked my statusbar, what I did was make a screenshot my wallpaper.
Here's my setup for now.

I fixed the link to the 1st post...the op themes are through aroma thrugh cwr or twrp.. It allows you to manually pick whatever color theme to a dialer or keyboard or whatever is in his theme.. That dialer is stock just themed yellow..
My dialer and keyboard, I found an aosp browser that works, too.

What "other" deodexed roms? Just install this on any deodexed rom. I'm currently on Adri's Lifeless and it works perfect. Makes for a much cleaner look! It bothered me how there was two different shades of gray from the notification bar to the pull down.

All the deodexed ROM are based on the zv9 shark boy and I put out anyways. So you can flash it on any zv9 based deodexed ROM.
Very nice work sir. Don't use the battery bar too much but the black status bar looks sweeeeet.
I'm being a little OCD in saying this, but why is there a 1px thin white line at the top of this? It annoys me to the point that I don't use this. For me it really throws the whole clean feel of this off, especially since the line doesn't even extend all the way to the end of the bar but cuts off about 70% of the way for some reason.
Was it an intentional design choice? If so, may we have the option to remove it?

that would be the battery bar. thus why its only 70 percent. to take it off go into your apps menus, click battery bar settings and uncheck show battery bar

thanks for the quick reply. I just hope some dev gets it to work with JB. This is the only thing missing (in my opinion) from JB.
