[MOD][JOP40D][11-28-12] Battery 1% Mod and Rotation Lock - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

I have made a mod for battery % with rotation lock in quick settings and it works with JOP40C from Google. I cannot confirm other versions since I haven't tried them.

great work...is the percentage centered in the battery? or does it always look like the screenshot?

This worked like a charm! Thanks! Wanted to keep my stock rooted rom. Think you can make one for an advance power menu? (recovery / screenshot?)

Also, a toggle for flashlight in quick settings would be awesome!
Edit: Is it hard to separate these mods into separate zips so people can mix and match? Finally, thank you for the mod!

If it is, it's not because of flashing this zip, it's just your battery calibrating!

[MOD][2012-02-22] AOKP Statusbar Bottom Toggle mod

Hi,
I've recompiled SystemUI with power widget toggles on the bottom miui style.
This + Apex Launcher swipe down open notifications is very convenient for me one handed
Was compiled after just syncing with aokp source, so should be fine with build 24-25 I assume

This mod only replaces one file. Just replace /system/app/SystemUI.apk with the one from the AOKP zip to revert. You'll need to mount /system as writable first obviously.

great work.
May I ask, if it's possible to MOD the statusbar and notifications completely upside down.
That is, similar to android 3.0 tablet, statusbar always displaying on the bottom, and swipe up to open notifications with widget toggles also on the bottom.
I think that's even more convenient swiping up than down as the screen becoming bigger...
Thanks.

I installed hellostatusbar from market for this reason, and just have a shortcut on each homescreen heh. Not the most efficient, but with large screen now i dont have to swipe down to access my status bar...

Admire the effort taking for this but when I use it on 4.0.1 AR it tends to screw up and I lose my notification bar and softkeys. Good thing I have a backup of System.apk. Usually a deodexed SystemUI shouldn't have this issue. Am I missing something?

I took a look at aokp and how the rom applies the text only battery
But its not done in the systemui but in romcontrol
It should be possible to code it in the systemui you need the source
I dont know how else..
But.. If you guys want it
And can make 100 images with 1% and so on
I can make it
Is it possible to get your mod with the menu buttons always visible on both sides?
That´s the thing i´m missing most coming from Liquid...

Hi Diegol2k,
Good to start a thread and share this great systemUI that is used in SpeedWizz. I really like the ROM.
I wonder if you could create a version of this systemUI that has the combined data+network icon, the wifi icon with activity arrows inside it and the smaller sized notification icons. A bit like this, but then in stock S3 colors (with stock battery icon):
Normal sized notification icons ( not oversized ) - thanks to ficeto
Proper ICS data indicators ( connection type over signal bars ) - thanks to ficeto
Some icons size fixed and color corrected
Signal / Wifi indicators - thanks to Sboulema
Accented Bluetooth connected, H+ & 3G+ themed, CyanogenMod 9 styled tethering icons.
Don't know why, the circle battery one does not work, can only get the numeric one on my LPT stock.
The rest is working fine.

Auto Detection of screen Width ( Bar works in Portrait and Landscape Mode )

What "other" deodexed roms? Just install this on any deodexed rom. I'm currently on Adri's Lifeless and it works perfect. Makes for a much cleaner look! It bothered me how there was two different shades of gray from the notification bar to the pull down.

All the deodexed ROM are based on the zv9 shark boy and I put out anyways. So you can flash it on any zv9 based deodexed ROM.
Very nice work sir. Don't use the battery bar too much but the black status bar looks sweeeeet.
I'm being a little OCD in saying this, but why is there a 1px thin white line at the top of this? It annoys me to the point that I don't use this. For me it really throws the whole clean feel of this off, especially since the line doesn't even extend all the way to the end of the bar but cuts off about 70% of the way for some reason.
Was it an intentional design choice? If so, may we have the option to remove it?

that would be the battery bar. thus why its only 70 percent. to take it off go into your apps menus, click battery bar settings and uncheck show battery bar

Finally I was hoping I could get the black status bar. One small step for my home screen one large step to looking like vanilla ICS!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the quick reply. I just hope some dev gets it to work with JB. This is the only thing missing (in my opinion) from JB.
