If you have root, you can try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&hl=en
I've used it to change my signal icon and it worked.

I use Icon Changer and Desktop Visualiser...
Icon changer actually makes an icon for the app with your chosen pic (so you can move it to the dock). It'll let you change the name, as well as a few other settings like rounding corners and contrast and whatnot.
Desktop Visualiser is a widget. You can use it to make any size icons you want, with custom pics and names. There is a demo video in the play store you can watch to show you how to use it and the other features it and it's addons have.
Hope that helps

Homescreen?

Is there any way to make the icons of apps smaller than they are so I can fit more on the homescreen?

Or go launcher also spb shell and change view mode to tablet, both would really well!

Sorry I am a complete noob when it comes to android (long time user of iOS) but when I install them the sizes don't change. They look practically the same

Which one are you using? In ADW: Hit Menu > More > ADWSettings > UI Settings > Screen Preferences. Then you are able to change the number of Desktop Columns and Desktop Rows. The more you have, the smaller the icons will be.
Let me know if you need any more help.
Thanks it worked! Now that's out of the way..does battery get affected by using different launchers?

Nope. It just replaces the default one. "TWLauncher" Have fun changing up your screens like crazy. When I get bored, I just start changing things up and before I know it, a couple of hours are missing...
Haha awesome, thank you!

App drawer icons...

I was wondering if there's a way to change the app drawer icons without having to download themes. I have icons that I'd prefer to use of my own choosing

You could Meta morph applications. But I'm not entirely sure how. Search around for how to use metamorph. Should be able to then place those icons in a zip and flash and it will morph the applications and replace the icon.

How to use My color screen?

I know this sounds really stupid, but I need to know how to work this. I'm running Nova Launcher Prime, and I have already downloaded the screen, but how do I get it set up properly? Thanks guys

Every one is different and you cannot simply download a screen and apply it. You have to manually configure it based on the files the OP distributes. That can be a photoshop file or a custom clock.

[Q] Lockscreen

How can I make my stock lockscreen 100% transparent?
Wanam, Xblast or Gravity Box don't work.
Right now I use Holo locker and it works good, but I would rather use the stock.
I am on stock JB 4.3 deodexed. Thanks

Your stock what on the lockscreen? If you mean the status bar it should be if you use the stock launcher.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
No, I mean the actual lockscreen, the one that you have to swipe to the right to get to the home screen, the one with a feather on it that makes that awful water drip noise when you unlock it.
I want it transparent so I can see my wallpaper under it.
Thanks

Change your wallpaper on your lockscreen to what ever you want it to be.

OK, thanks, but I didn't make myself clear enough.
I want to make the lockscreen see through, transparent, just like Holo Locker on the Play Store (free). If you would like to check it out you would understand exactly what I mean.
Thanks

Ya, I see what you're saying. I downloaded it, but don't see how changing your wallpaper to the same one s your home screen doesn't give you the same effect . So maybe someone had an idea for you

I don't have a static wallpaper, I have a live one (Koi wallpaper).

Use a different launcher like nova or adw that let's you swap out icons or use an app like anycut, bettercut or desktop visualizer.
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda premium
Use Quick Shortcut Maker. I use it all the time. Create the shortcut in an open spot on your homescreen, and then just drag and drop it where you want. Your OP shows the phone icon, so if you want that you can install icon packs for other launchers like Nova, Apex, etc., and then when you create the shortcut, just pick from the icon pack you have that has the one you want. It works great. The best way I found is to use the widget version. You can use the app itself, but sometimes it doesn't create the icon. Instructions for both are included on the app page on Google Play.

Enjoy!
Thank You. Desktop visualizer works perfect.
