I know, I wish I would have waited. I just bought a 16gb on sale at Costco for $15 a couple weeks ago. These are cheap enough to buy another one, but I won't use 16gb anyway so it would be a waste for me to spend any money at all on one. Hopefully some people can benefit from this deal though. :good:

Just found this on Amazon UK, £26.50 for 32GB micro sd card, sold directly by amazon and not 3rd party.
I ordered 2, even though I already have a 32GB card in the note. One as a xmas gift and another for my other device.

Class 4, I bought one two Weeks ago,a bargain if you ask me.the 64GB ones are a bit out of my price bracket.
class 4 too slow, need at least a class 6 or 10.
Class 4 is fine for most of usege I think, unless you need to transfer large amount of files regularly. I shot a 20 mins 1080p video on to class 4 sd card without any problems.
I recently brought a 32gb Samsung Class 10 microsd for £39.99 from 7dayshop plus 2% cashback from Quidco, pretty good deal for a branded card.

I took the same...50 euros... It's nice and fast!!!
Been using the Sandisk 32GB from Amazon uk for a couple of weeks now and speed wise it's fine. Agree with OP - bit of a bargain currently compared to the 64GB one.
On a related note - I've been using the Kies Air app just to transfer large files from my desktop to the card on the Note, and it seems amazingly fast. Not benchmarked it, but it certainly seems a lot quicker than via USB in MTP mode.
I bought 32GB sandisk class 4 from amazon uk as well and I think it's prety good for the price of £26, write speed is 4MB/s , read is 17.4MB/s
cheers
I got the sandisk class 4 32gb for £17.99 at play.com but it's back up to £26 now.

Good find! I already have a 32gb but I will use this as a secondary. You can never have too many, in for one.

Good deal..was looking for a 32 but couldnt pass this up
I'd be nervous buying that, totally un-branded... seems risky. I'd be more likely to go for this Transcend 16Gb class4 through Newegg for $15 with free shipping:

You can get a Samsung class 10 32GB micro sd at fry's right now for 35$, fyi.
Patriot is not a very good brand when it comes to sd cards..
Transmission sent from a Galaxy S II, CODENAME style.

I have had a 16gb class 4 Patriot microSD card for almost 2 years...still going...now on my psp...had it for my Evo and Thunderbolt until I bought a Sandisk 32gb. I think Patriot is a good reliable card.

Which would be the better microsd card?

Hello,
Planning on getting a 32gb card for my s3 because I always find myself in the situation where I'm freeing up space! I have my eyes on these 3 cards on Amazon, any ideas which would be best?
SanDisk Ultra 32 GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-1
Sony 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC R40
Samsung Micro SD 32GB Class 10 Plus UHS-I SDHC
I read that the Sony card performs much better than the SanDisk. The SanDisk gives around 10mb/sec of write speed, the Sony give 15 or so.
Sorry I can't put links to the Amazon items because I'm a new user and I need 10 posts at least.
Thanks guys,
Go with Sony or Samsung (make sure they are not fake). Sandisk is okay, but a lot of people have complaints of sandisk micro SD cards (mainly the 32gb) start acting up after 6 months of use, sometimes to the point it stops working.

I would go for a class4 or class6. Ive heard horror stories about them "ultra class10" and "plus class 10" sd cards and galaxy's. I have both sandisk class4 32gb and samsung class6 32gb and they perform well for what i need them to. Just my 0.02. Good luck.

I have a 32 gig card I bought from micro center and it works great for $20.
Get the samsung! I have personally used both samsung and sandisk, and maybe i was unfortunate that the sandisk was corrupted but the samsung is still working fine considering i got both around the same time.

Hmm on the other hand there are a lot of users that are happy with C10 cards. Maybe they fail after an extended period of time?
Thanks for the feedback guys,
To be honest, I am currently using a 16GB transcend class 4 on my S3 and i'm quite happy with it.
From what i gathered when purchasing my memory card, class 10 mem cards are better with DSLRs where write speed is very important.
