[Q] Hiding the keyboard - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello!
I'm on Android 4.0.4 with the Xperia Pureness ROM, from which I love its fluidness, and with an ICS stock keyboard for my phone.
I remember from previous Android versions that there was a button to hide the keyboard, is this not available any more? I can press the
"Back" button and the keyboard will hide, but any chance of including the "Hide Keyboard" button to the keyboard?
I must say that the "Hide Keyboard" button appears only when in landscape mode.
Thanks!

there is the one button on the bottom left, i think.

Yes, but that is what I hoped would happen.
The problem is that there isn't any "Hide Keyboard" button in the portrait mode, but there IS in the landscape mode:

when your using HTC Taskmanager with "End programs by tapping X" the programm does close, not minimize when

Any Solution?

Does anyone know of any app or Xposed module to add keyboard cursors to navbar?

I've been looking long and far for a very long time for a feature like this. I'm using Android 6.0 with the 46A stock firmware on my VS985. I use Google Keyboard and can't switch keyboard apps.
I really want to find something that will let me manually move the keyboard cursor while typing. I know some ROMs have left/right arrow buttons that pop up in the navbar while you have your keyboard open and that would be an absolute godsend to duplicate with an app or module. If this is not possible, I would even settle for the ability to move the cursor by pressing the VOL DOWN/VOL UP buttons while typing, although this wouldn't be my first choice. I set almost all my apps to have a very high DPI so things on my screen are tiny, which is generally how I like it, but it makes it very difficult to manually move the typing cursor.
I really hope somebody here knows of anything that could enable such a feature. Something like this is what I need:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}

Do these mods exist for 8.0/8.1?

I really want to upgrade from PN to 8.0 or 8.1 but I'd be missing out on two mods that PN has. Is there anyway to add in hold back to kill app and hold power button to toggle torch when screen is off?
You can setup the gesture for the flashlight in 8.1. For kill back button, you can try this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.homebutton
