Weather Widget - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

Anyone mind sharing your weather widgets or know a nice wv post here cause the 1 that comes with TW is a shame takes up to much ram and rewrites and lags up the launcher by just scrolling. Deactivate it and its parts and your phone is going much snappier.

+1 for Android Weather. Just dled it last night but its the best weather widget I've ever used. I like how yo can open your calendar and clock app from the widget. Thanks for the heads up in this.

I use WeatherLove (Free on Market) , customisable , gps based (can be disabled) , transparency capable ... Have a try

HD Weather Widgets. Very customizable. It's foggy at the moment (you can see a cloud in the middle, under the clock). Background is set to Transparent.
Beautiful widgets.
It doesn't consume so much RAM or processor power.

NO, it requires the sense framework. However i know of a sense 4 clock that looks very similar that does work. Its an apk someone has built but its very realistic looking. Sense 4 Clock Widget
Dude, the clock app not the weather widget.

I didn't link you the weather widget idiot. That's the sense clock widget. The one you extracted no its not going to work. What did you expect?
You took it from another phone not just another touchwiz phone a whole different proprietary overlay. Which requires its resources to run.

Ok. Let me go this way. When u open the app drawer on a HTC phone there's an app called Clock, that has the pic of a watch. This is almost like a nightstand clock. It also has other things. It's not a widget. That's what Im looking for. Have u come accross it?

The clock app in HTC sense is called clockwidget.apk....Most apps are VERY hard to port because HTC has a file system where most of the apps are dependent on HTC framework. That would mean you would have to reverse develop the sense rom which has had little luck so far..
why you see just the widget and not the clock in the app drawer is because the clockwidget.apk tells the HTC system framework for it to be there. But it will not show because fw is MIA.

A good storage widget?

Anybody has a good free or maybe 1$ widget that will correctly display the space remaining in my phone and SD?
bump
Minimalist text can do that... plus it makes your clock and weather awesome!

i just want a widget for telling me how much space ive got left...not some fancy pantsy weaker/clock/time widget. Thanks anyways
You don't need to use the clock... just add the widget and set the parameters to be phone/sdcard space available/free

(Dev help) Motorola Photon Q launcher and widgets

I'm trying to get the new Motorola photon q launcher to work on the epic touch running jelly bean. Everything seems to work just needs to be resized. Also the circle widget is really nice and would be great if someone can get it to work with other launchers. Here are the files and thank you in advance for helping on the development for this great launcher and widget.

What have you tried
I am interested in this as well. Have you pushed the app to yhour system/app directory and changed the permissions to match everything else in there?
They install fine. The only thing is when the widget comes on the launcher screen it says that you cannot use with third party launchers. I don't know how to edit the permissions of the widget itself

Took a look at the widget on the photon device and i must say it is pretty cool looking. You would have to attract the attention of whoever took time to port the clock and weather widget from the HTC devices.
Anyone, anyone?????? My wife is looking for this to add to her GS2
Search the Google play market for Rings Digital Weather Clock or One More Clock Free. The widgets o are looking for are in there
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=factory.widgets.bubbledigitalweatherclock here's a link for the widget. Looks pretty good

Are there any animated weather widgets?

Would be cool to see moving sun rays or rain falling from a weather widget.
I'm curious about this too...
My HTC One X had an awesome weather widget... one of the many things I miss about that phone.
Bump.
I want to know this too

Beautiful Widgets has animated weather when you tap on the widget. What I think the OP wants is the actual home screen widget to be animated.

Bingo.

Beautiful Widgets also has an animated wallpaper that changes with the weather and time of day. Battery friendly too. For the weather (or clock) you can select from hundreds of themes.

trying to find a good weather widget, post your screenshots

I feel like i have tried every weather widget and cant seem to find a nice one. they either drain the battery (i like the refresh on wake setting) or the graphics are blah. i'm looking for one with a crisp HD look, transparency settings, and the ability to customize a little so i am asking if a few of you wouldnt mind posting a screenshot of your widget and give a little info on it to see if maybe there is something out there i havent tried or tried but didnt realize the potential haha. Thanks!!

I like hd widgets but use beautiful widgets. Their possibilities are endless.

The best weather widget personally is pre built into htc sense :'( i loved the weather widget from sense 4.1 but a good alternative is bz weather clear animations and doesn't chew battery up...

I use the transparent stock widget from the S4. Its nice especially if you use custom wallpapers or you just don't like tacky, bulky looking widgets on your home screen.
Beautiful Widgets and HD Widgets are both crisp. HD Widgets is higher end thus uses more cpu and system resources. Personally BW suits my liking, light on system usage, lots of cusomized themes, it has a nice lockscreen widget as well.

i have used BW in the past, i did like the customized themes but for some reason stopped (i think because i was in search of a flip clock that was as smooth as some of the sense ones that actually flip nicely, i gave up lol) its been awhile so i will have to give it another run.

I'm using fancy widgets, and weather screen - weather screen had lots of options but worth it. Its like sense background weather without the wipers when raining, you can even set the amount of battery usage. Just check it out.
POWER ED by the MASTER!
