Maybe a dumb question but does this allow you to flash after previously updating to the official Asus jelly bean. It's been a while since I have been in this forum.

It's a jb bootloader rom, so updating to the Asus jb ROM is necessary (along with an unlocked device and twrp).

Yeeeeeeeeep. BB6 w/ JB bootloader lol.

Can you tell me what the different features are in ROM control between this and standard AOKP?
Without auto-rotate working, can you choose which mode you want it in (portait/landscape) or is that predetermined?
This is really cool, thanks for your work.

Not exactly sure what's in Aokp ROM control I've never actually flashed aokp.
It just goes to landscape but I'm working on a fix for rotate and the vol buttons please bear with me

Take your time bro, glad to have you aboard, looks like a great ROM.
Is the CM10/AOKP theme chooser in this?

Volume buttons have been fixed also I decided to use the stock kernel so if you want OC you will need to flash untermensch's cm10 kernel
*new build will be uploaded shortly*
let me know if you guys find any bugs but it should be good besides rotation.

New build is up

After trying four different ROMs this week, this is the one I am going to stick with! Thanks!
A few bugs I have run into:
Downloading build 6 when using the goo manager app downloads a build that is not JB bootloader compliant. The link in the op works however.
Another strange error is that the play store says some apps are not compatible with my device now. (chrome, google play music, and a few others). Anyone else run into this?
Edit: found this version of baked blackbean works on tf300 with auto rotation working and no app compatibility problems.

The one up on goo is for the ics bootloader. We will get that changed to this one. For the time being use the link in the op.
The not compatible issue is likely due to how it reports itself to the play store. We will take a look.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Does 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS work?
Yes all of the above work fine.
Does everything that works on CM10, work on this rom?
Yes. If it works on CM10 it will work on Paranoid Android.
but if it do not work in CM10 it WILL NOT WORK on Paranoid Android!
How do I change my DPI on this ROM?
Go to Settings> Paranoid Settings.
In this option You will find the following options:
Work space> this is where you can have your phone look like a tablet and others....
Apps> this is where you can change any APPS DPI. Example: This means you can run your phone on stock 240 DPI, and make lets say Gmail look like the tablet version of the app by setting the Gmail.apk to 128 DPI!

I know it say's Gapps: recommended: 10/11 Gapps however any issues gapps-jb-20121212 or NXT GEN 4.2 Gapps Odex?
OK I was to quick however gapps-jb--20121212 kept saying keyboard AOSP not rtesponding and FC'ing as well as play market error. Since keyboard error thought I would flash KDH NXT GEN 4.2 Odex and only issuw was play market error went to systems-apps-play market clear settings and then opened play market accept and opened as usual.
Update: Google Play said some apps not for my device decided to just flash recommended 10/11 gapss and did not make any other changes and now all apps are compatible and I didn't make any settings changes like I've done in the past.
I would say use recommended 10/11 gapps.

[ROM][07-02-13] Andromadus builds - CM10[133][3.0.61]

Andromadus - Test Builds for glacier ported from Desire S :fingers-crossed:
Flinny said:
To start with here you will find test versions of ROMs built by me from the Andromadus github repo http://github.com/Andromadus, think of them along the same concept as nightly builds just not every night These are development ROM's, if you want to run bleeding edge development ROM's and at least know how to use adb and logcat then you might find something of interest here. If you require something that works 100% of the time all of the time then this might not be for you. That said you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work restore your previous nandroid backup!
What IS Andromadus?
Initially it was a group of people who got together to make ICS work on the HTC Desire Z because nobody else seemed to want to support devices with physical hardware keyboards/trackpads. Whilst the idea stays the same It has grown slightly to support some other hardware and some of the work we have done is now used in many other devices. Andromadus builds of CM10 or CM10.1 are basically CM sources with a few additional tweaks or additions to support our phones.
1. New versions will be added as and when I feel there are enough changes to warrant one, don’t ask when the next version is coming.
2. If we decide to release a "Stable" version of these roms they will be published in another Andromadus thread.
Direct all your queries with release versions to that thread and in the same vain do not discuss these releases anywhere but here.
3. I will do as best I can to answer questions but if you don't get an answer from me I'm sure somebody else will be along to help. Help each other and I have more time to spend fixing things!
4. Don't ask for what's changed since the previous version, have a look at the recent submits on the Andromadus github if you want to know or wait for the mini changelogs when I post a new release.
5. If there is something in particular to test it'll be mentioned!
6. As always if you didn't wipe between installations then at least verify that the problem exists on a clean install before posting here. Nandroid/superwipe/install/check at the end of the day you can always restore your nandroid if the problem is reproducible on a clean installation. If you can't be bothered to try this then I really can't be bothered to try to help you :>
7. All that said ensure you make a nandroid/backup before hand. I take no responsibility for what you do to your phone with these ROM.
8. Whilst I can't stop you I would rather these builds were not used as a base for any ROM/MOD/ETC. The source is all available if you want to do your own builds with which you can do whatever you like.
9. Tell us what works/what's worse/what's better but don't ***** when something breaks or isn't fixed yet, report it and move on.
10. Sometimes people forget that we do this for fun, for ourselves, and sometimes your super important issue is way down on our personal list of things to be fixed.
If you ignore any of the above you will in turn be ignored.
Now that's all out of the way as always have fun
As usual you need to flash the ROM then GAPPS.
Checkout http://andromadus.flinny.org for links/files/changelog's
This a team/community effort, I'll not list everyone who has helped along the way here that list is in the beta thread but I will say thanks to all of them again and obviously anyone that has been missed.

Whilst I think a source compile would be better for you than a port if you really want to then ok. As long as you link to andromadus.flinny.org or in your OP. Which kernel are you using on Glacier btw?

This ROM is great, just installed and quickly tested some of the basics. Awesome job...camera works (including ffc and video recording, no green line), voice works in apps like Google Now. Led working, physical keys light up, no random reboots or boot loop.
Bugs
Flickering screen when LCD off
Suggestions
Track pad wake
Text only (not icon + text) for status bar battery
Text only (instead of icons) for power toggles

they will all be buggy at this point in development... he's just giving you guys options of trying something different.. even the official aopk mako is buggy.. it's been ported from the nexus 4 and all of theirs is still WIP...
So what's different from CM 10.1?
Just curious.

As far as core functions, nothing is different. I built it using chadouming github. Its really just the settings that are availible in the rom itself. More ability to tweak in AOKP is all really.
Cool. Thanks.

Houstonn is right, I don't forsee this really being less buggy than chad's cm10. Though I havn't had many issues while using it the last few days.
As for the cap keys, I'm very new to development, so although I will be trying to resolve the issue...I doubt I'll be the one to succed. Can't see it taking too long before a fix is availible by someone though.

Have you run the CM10? If that worked, this does too.
Regardless, I'm almost positive it will work just fine.
I just installed cm10.1 from chad on my e971, works fine so far. Wish I had seen this thread 20 mins before I installted it. Congrats on having a new rom it is needed!
Well it is built from sources of CM10.1 ROM in dev section which currently runs how it should for now on my E971 so don't see why not.

Maybe the installation method can cause a problem:
1. Wipe Data/Cache
2. Wipe System
3. Install Rom . . .
CM10.1 strictly says not to wipe anything. You install the rom, then gapps, and THEN do a Factory Reset. I recall reading somewhere that you will brick your phone if you do not follow those instructions.

Not sure if that's just E971, but i factory reset and wipe system prior to flashing the rom then gapps everytime. I personally havn't had an issue, I don't want to be resposible for anyone bricking their device, just put the procedure I use.

The E97x series is fairly similar but it is completely different from every phone I have played with (galaxy 1, 2, s2x, SIII, LG p500). On the other phones I listed u wipe first but this can cause a brick on the e971 (rogers 2600) and some or all of the variants such as the e973 (bell/telus) which is very close except for its LTE frequency. You have an E973 Haze, and didnt get a brick when wiping before romming?
You can read about some of the bootloops posted here:

Yes, E973 Bell. I have always wiped data then system on this phone before changing roms. Preforming a restore did the same, wipe each before flashing, so I didn't see the harm in doing so myself.
Edit-No brick here, I've repeated this process at least 30 times by now... no issues.
I re-read thru the link I posted above the previous post. Seems that the cause of the bootloops was an old version of recovery (CWM or TWRP).
If I recall correctly, I got CWM with freegee .5
CWM version 6.0.1.5
Which recovery are u using Haze?
Nice more roms!

Current Issues.
The camera image stays at the first picture taken, will continue to take pictures but you are unable to see it, you can switch to camcorder and back to cam to get live image back.
The led will flash whe exiting camera after taking a picture.
Both of these camera issues are top on my list of things to fix.

F.A.Q
Q-Does Snote, AllCast, or other apps that came with stock work here?
A- This Rom is based on CM10.1 and therefor does NOT have touchwiz framework, so more than likely no. Many of the stock apps that users want require touchwiz framework and that just does not work on AOSP based roms.
Q-Is there a way to enable tabletUI?
A-I am currently working on getting TabletUI working on out device.
Q-Can we use themes from the playstore?
A-Yes,there are themes on the market that support MDPI which is what the Note 10.1 is. But I also go into the build.prop and change lcd.density to 155 and leave it at that and any theme I find works.

Yes that is an android 4.2 thing. So there for it is highly recommended to use TWRP since it stops you from getting multiple 0 folders within each other when you flash a new android 4.2 rom.

HELP ME
I installed this to give it a try and see if my Noozxoide MOD works with it.. Lucky i did because the MOD didnt work so i had to do a fix.. Now I want to go Back to stock using my Recovery Backup so i can work on my next Project..
.....HELP ME...
I cant get CWM to found my Backups.. If i boot into the system and use a file manager i can see my backup files.. Why cant CWM see them?
.... UPDATE ...
It seems 4.2 changes the sdcard layout..
It reads "root/sdcard/0/clockworkmod"
It should be "root/sdcard/clockworkmod"
To Fix this go into your file manager and move the clockworkmod folder FROM "root/sdcard/0/clockworkmod" TO "root/sdcard/clockworkmod"
Now Reboot into CWM and you should found your Backups

I was able to get my 64gb microSD card working with this ROM as 2nd memory. Is there a chance
1) to change the default path for APP Installation, download, pix and others to external ROM
2) or is there a chance to swap the mount on boot up as done by zedomax for android 4.1.2
I really want to use my 64gb card more as the default storage
Would be great if anybody can help

darn it you beat me to it lol, i just got jellybeer compiled for the 2nd time. i have wifi working as i reverted a few experimental patches that rukin had committed. if you want to use the modified device files until rukin figures out the wifi and bluetooth patches here they are: https://github.com/touchpro/android_device_htc_primoc
how bout we collaborate? im curious to know what you used for the conf file in /vendor/cm/prebuilt. i copied cm_mako.conf and used that for primoc.
edit: heres mine after a repo sync to jellybeer 4.30 with wifi working: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8s2fjhto5wbdmnx/JellyBeer-v4.30-06JUN2013-115941-primoc.zip
edit2: also, apparently adb debugging is a little wonky, user robaho (think thats how its spelled off the top of my head) figured out that if you update adb drivers on your computer then it will work as 4.2 apparently wants to verify rsa keys in order for adb to work.

Sweet. Yeah I built this morning as an experiment. I don't remember off the top of my head what I did for the cm_primoc.conf but I could tell you when I get home in a bit. And thanks I'll apply those patches when I get the time. We'll keep in touch.

i have definitely thought about it. with awidawad deving cdma, shouldnt be too hard as lloir and maxwen have made a good device tree to use. lemme see what i can do, i might have something for you guys to test here soon. just remember, i dont have a primou, and whatever bugs are in cm10 for primou will be present in jellybeer primou.
cool m waiting and i think there is no bug in cm10 or you can use 1ce rom as base rom
Updated -- Build 2 BETA
Rebuilt with whoshotjr2006's advice, and wifi is now working! Also, JellyBeer has been updated to v4.30. As for common HOV bugs, I've found none so far. 5mp camera works (displays 4.5mp), HD video recording works, doesn't reboot randomly, and Gallery2 doesn't crash randomly.
Please read changlog below.

Has anyone flashed this yet? How is it compared to the newest version of rhythmic ROM?

I'm going to test now since WiFi is working.

I think it runs great. But I'm a little biased lol. Performance is on par with rukins cm10.1 based roms.
Also make sure to play around with hybrid settings and reboot after changing density to get the full effect.

Runs really well. Everything is smooth and just as fast as the latest RhythmicRom. I'd test it yourself and if you like it. Some settings are repetitive like the CRT Animation but i'm going to keep messing with it. There are a hell of a lot more options to tweak.
Liking this one a lot. I've ran jellybeer on my TF201 but didn't like it. This is much better

Wiped everything, flashed ROM,flashed gapps, flashed kernel from the rom in fastboot, and reboot.. LOVE THIS ROM!!!!! but one problem... The video doesn't want to record at all. I press the button and its not doing anything. Is it just me??? If so what kernel y'all flashed? Because in the instructions it says find a good kernel

Should be a pmem build so any pmem kernel should work, just attach the modules in system/lib/modules.

Yep video recording is a no go. I used the kernel that's inside the zip

The instructions call for a SAFE kernel. These instructions were forked from a non-htc phone that had the recovery.img inside the kernel, a "safe" kernel. I'll edit the OP later.

awesome ROM thank you, so far stable no issues. everything works well. love the options to customize the battery date and what not. keep up the good work. even built in overclocking at 1.5 running stable and smooth. battery life good.
