Does this version show HSPA properly? Since the original was designed for the Verizon galaxy nexus, HSPA showed as 3G.

Will this work on stock rooted?

To answer my own question, no. The mood only shows 3G.

So it does now show H?

Also, is there any way to return the soft keys and battery meter to stock?

I bet your using twrp? you must have updated your twrp recovery, there is an issue with the new one. Before flashing you have to go into mounts and remove the top X in the list and you should be golden. The TWRP team said they should have an updated fix this weekend.

FAQ:
Q: What is Zeus MOD?
A: Zeus MOD comes from Ihftp69's Sense 2.1 GB Skyraider ROM, this MOD Removes the notifications/Quick Settings tabs at the bottom of the Status bar, and now to switch pages you simply tap on the carrier label header. (where it says Verizon Wireless).
Q: Can I still use the Horizontal Quick Settings, and do the long press functions still work?
A: Yes, all functions of the Horizontal Quick Settings work as they should (long press carriel label to have them show), just make sure to disable the "QUICK QUICK SETTING" toggle when using them.

It's oh so obvious now. Thanks! I missed that feature after having it in the 3.6 tweaks you released for IC Tazz.
Looks like it changes the notification area. The current one has the quick settings tab at the bottom. This looks more like what's on newtoroots rls 2

Thank you, Sir.
the horizontal quick settings work, you just need to disable "quick quicksettings" toggle. u can still get to the vertical quick settings though at all times by pressing header, so it breaks the one tweak.

You're telling me mate. This rom is really slick. Everything runs well for me and I like the quick settings options! The only thing I miss is the option to change the screen off animation. I was really enjoying "scale down" on other KK roms.
This is incredibly light for how feature dense it is. I have tested it and really been enjoying it for a few days!

I only flashed the beta from post 2

Flashing the basic build 1 in AOSPA breaks the baseband drivers resulting in no cell connection and "baseband unknown" in the about phone settings page
Flashing the basic build 1 works OK... Only after I then flashed the dialer did I lose signal.... In fact after flashing dialer my phone didn't recognise my sim card at all, it didn't ask for sim unlock code etc
