No.it is not possible,ICS apps are made only for ICS 4.0,they can't work on stock rom or any cyanogenmod 7 roms.

[Q] Stock 2.3.3, is it possible to flash the Nexus S rom?

Can I flash the stock 2.3.3 rom from the Nexus S?
Will it work?
Because I just want a stock phone like you get a Nexus S out of the box.
Thanks.
Um, no.

Closest you will get is to build your own ROM from source. Or you can flash a ROM like CM7 and just replace ADW Launcher with the stock GB launcher.

Well, I have no experience with building a rom.
So i'm just going to remove all the bloat apps from ginger villain.
Thanks man.
Theres currently a Rom being made to stock... Check out dev section. It's based on cyan7 but everything is being changed to stock. It's still in the work so yea

Try out the stock ROM being hooked up in the Dev Section.
In the mean time you can flash CM7 and check the thread in my sig for replacing ADW with the stock GB launcher for the stock look.
Seems your questions has been pretty much answered. But FYI, I think flashing the ROM that is intended for a different phone is a great way to brick your phone.

[Q] How to install ICS Messaging on any rom?

Hello, I am running Juggernaut v5.0 (2.3.6) and I was wondering if there is a way to replace the stock messaging app with the stock ICS messaging app. I didn't know if there was a way to do this or not, but I was curious.
any help would be greatly appreciated
no. it's not compatible with GB
Thank you, I was wondering if it was or not haha. Since there are MIUI builds of GB do you think a MIUI based messaging app could be used in place of the stock app?

should work. just push it with root explorer to system/app and restart.
make sure to back up the date before you do this

[Q] AOSP Gingerbread ROM

Just trying to see if anyone could point me to an AOSP Gingerbread ROM. I've been using a ICS ROM and while its good, I had been using Gingerbread on my previous phone. I was used to Gingerbread and would like to see if there is a real AOSP ROM for this phone. Thanks!
All roms for our phone are in the development section. Take a look.

Ktoonsez KT747 will work on TW ICS. I'm using it on AOKP 4.2.1 and it is stellar. You can find it in the original android development section.
what's the different between TW and ICS because there is 2 kernels over there one for TW and one for ICS?
THANKS
TW is if your on stock and still use touchwiz. ICS is if you're rooted and on an AOSP based ROM such as CM or AOKP.
And if i'm stock ics rooted?

Then use the TW version. If you are to flash a new ROM, you'll need to re flash the kernel. Additionally, if you flash an AOSP ROM, be sure to flash the AOSP variant.

CM is based of AOSP release which can be retrieved from Nexus devices. So if you need apps or framework you can get them from any pure CM ROM, not those that are ROM ports.
