Hi I'm wondering if this will work on our version also. It seems the at&t and n7105 version found success in porting roms from the International version

Asking questions does not automatically imply impatience. I think some of us are just curious when things here will get rolling is all.

no it isnt that simple. as stated 50000000000x before, we are CDMA, they are GSM and so is the international version. because they are both GSM they are much much more simple to port.

It not so much the ignorance that is annoying Jsarge45, its the fact that you don't even try to educate yourself before you demand someone else to educate you.

this poll regards DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT ONLY.
I would like to know whether you feel happy or not with the development support your device got. (compare it to the international gs2 deving, or the att gs2 if that helps to make things easier) Do not read this poll as something that intends to start a flaming war. I am little bit confused which version of the gs3 to keep for myself and since I have not followed what was going on with the tmobile gs2 and the intl gs2 dev forums, I decided to make this thread asking your sincere (hopefully) opinions again vote on the basis of dev support only!

It's up for debate. GS3 hardware is supposed to be standard across all carriers. You shouldn't have a problem. Imo if you want the best value and best data speeds go with tmobile.
I'm unsure what the specs for the international is but I believe they're all the same.

The problem is you cant predict that for the GS3 since they are standard across carriers but international is still international. The s2 support isnt comparable because its a totally different fragmentation situation

Unfortunately they are not standard. And yeah intl will always get the best development but nevertheless at the end all you need is 5 good roms. Intl got 20 roms or more but users know that half of them are just a minor modified version of the stock rom.

That's just the rom. Yes there has been talk about getting a dev to help out but its not like its in the title of the thread.
All im trying to do is get someone's attention to help out w/ getting cdma for verizon users to work for that rom.
Obviously no one seems to care to try or they're busy doing something else.
The dev himself is trying to make the CDMA version of it. It says:
CDMA Users: Still working on it.
Also its not that we don't care here, please keep in mind we are down to a couple devs, aero just got married and is moving and if I'm correct, another dev had his dinc2 crap out on him, be patient and someone will help

Nits is also real busy and even stopped developing his own MIUI because of it. He's got a lot to do between UKB for us and working on the Inc4g. I hope he can get some time to work on it though since he probably is the most familiar with MIUI of all the Inc2 devs right now and I really wanna go back to MIUI. But its up in the air.
It just boils down to that we don't have that many developers at the steering wheel of a DINC2 right now. Not like we have 20+ devs.
Sorry of this seems like a smart reply, just how I write and my personality tend to be.

Someone has a temper today! Just posting a link isn't too hard, isn't that easier than being a ****?
First off, the OP never said they wanted the flash apk. They wanted to know how flash preformed on the Optimus G. All the other posters talked about it performing on other phones. I gave a little insight about flash not being on newer phones and that you would have to find the apk. Yes saying that if you don't know how to find it then you shouldn't be on here might have been harsh. But it sounds like your are a little butt hurt. It's ok. There is a thing called the search button that usually will provide anyone with a multitude of answers. I could provide a link but, couldn't you have done the same thing rather than coming on here and calling names? Or maybe it's because you yourself don't know how to find it.

I'm sure Thomas Edison got some good laughs when talking about the light bulb too. You don't know him or know what he's capable of; nor will you ever find out with this attitude. I envy his will to learn, and to take on a big challenge like this. I don't envy, I even despise attitudes like this that try to put people down who are attempting to do great things. To OP: even if you do fail at this, with the attitude you have, you will do great things.

In the same way guys... There's a learning curve. It could have been approached differently. But speaking from the position as he stated that he is completely new to this... If I was a sherpa and someone who had spent their life on a couch says they're interested in rock climbing, I'm not going to say, 'awesome, next week when your equipment arrives go to mount Everest and have fun!' There are ways to train and become better at things. Would suggestions have been better than simply stating that it'd not go well... Yes. And coming here to help where there are experienced devs is good hopefully their guidance will be enough to get him on the right track with this project and if not maybe he can start out smaller and build to this project.

Just to add on to what he said, even know a lot of things would not work, seeing as it is a Verizon s3, it would not brick his phone. It would boot but data and other things wouldn't work. I'm not saying to go flash other carrier ROMs, but I'm saying it wouldn't "brick" (hard brick) like flashing an international ROM as you claimed.

I really want to try the flashable Photosphere camera listed on the Rom. As far as I'm aware, it won't mess anything up, so I'll try it out and see what happens (of course, I have a nandroid from this morning just itching to be restored). For the most part, Joe0113 is a pretty chill dude. A lot of us (myself included) are just frustrated with the amount of bricks we've seen lately. Whenever someone asks about a rom from outside of Sprint Galaxy S3 forums, it's easy to assume they haven't read very well.
I have seen a lot stronger vitriol on here recently, but I tend to think it's due to frustration, not character flaw or general jerk-itude. (except for that Topherk... man, what a jerk!)
