Hi everybody,
I am running cm10 stable on my T-mobile S2(T989D).
I captured some videos witn my t989d, in gallerie when playing videos my phones say "cannot read video file" i check the DCIM directory, i found 2 files for each capture one named 123456789.mp4(Size=0Ko) & the second with the same name 123456789.mp4.tmp (Size=13569Ko).
Plz any one have a solution how can i play this videos?
Plz i need help; i know is not the forum for S2, but i dont find any issue like this on our forum.

I'm not sure what you want. Do you want that video on your phone? Or just to see that video?
If you want to show a nice demo on your Arc I suggest running com.sonyericsson.retaildemo.apk, it is hidden in the Arc. Found it with Titanium Backup. It includes the video you are looking for.

For retail demo function...just type *#*#73556673#*#* on your phone and the video will start. Retype *#*#73556673#*#* to deactivate the "loop"!

Got failed to play video...
I've lot of apps frozen using TB. Which are the ones required to run this app (apart from the "Retail demo"). Trying to run that "Retail demo" app using TB gives me an error "Failed to run video".

my only solution is RUU
are you using an sd card that has been in another phone if so delete the rename DCIM and let it remake the folder

Hey man i faced da same problem ryt after few days.....i thoght my sd card hav some prob.....bt even after unmountng it,,dere is no change......bt wen i restart da fone.....it records videos bt playong them was still not solved.....plzz help mee toooo......

Hey man i faced the same problem right after a few days....i thought my SD card having some problems ....but even after un amounting it ....there is no change ....but when i restart the phone....it records but playing them was still not solved please help me too three four five six LOOL

i had the same problem today. after searching the forums i read something about sd card being fake its just slow when it comes to read write times. i own a 16 gb c4 which has extremly slow read write times this causes the data to become corupted when transfering data from phone to sd, the result is a currupted file that the player cant recognise and it thinks the format or media settings are not within its range. (SOLUSION)......................FORMAT THE SD first save the files that can be read to pc and format restore files and try recording it should work NOW...............dont forget to say thanks

Witch video do you want to convert, the one recorded with your camera and want to watch on your pc or tv? (don't need to convert, just use VLC player or install a codec pack like shark007)
Or you want to watch videos from your pc on your phone?

Hi I'm having problems with allshare play when I add the folders I want to share from my pc only some of the videos show up from that location or in my case 1 video even though I have a lot more the phone I am using is note 2 international version. I've searched the forum but couldn't find any solution so any help would be appreciated.

Now when I restarted my pc some more videos showed up but still not all and they are all available or mpeg 4 files.
