[Q] How to Root Huawei Ascend P1 (U9200-1V100R001C00B226) - Huawei Ascend P1

Hi,
I've recently got Huawei Ascend P1 - U9200 and updated the official firmware to B226. When I run Titanium Backup it return an error that root accesss is not allowed.
Is there any guide for enabling root access for this particular firmware of Huawei Ascend P1 (B226)? or alternatively any other application which can be used to make full systems settings & data backup without root access. Thanks!

Any suggestion???

i also have problem to root my ascend p1 b226. i already use nixing root, one key, and universal root method. All of this method doesn't root my ascend p1.

You need to install cwm firstly. Then update super su zip file with cwm. You will get root access fully.

Can you teach me step by step how to install cwm and update super su zip file with cwm?

You need Bin4ry. It's very easy.

I managed to root B226 with Bin4ry metod - it is very simple! On B229 ithis metod doesn't work - u need to boot in CWM and flash super SU package (zip file). there are couple of threads that explain botnh metods, try googling it...

I have tried everything to root panasonic t41 . Can anyone suggest a way to successfully root it. Tried framaroot, vroot , kingo root tool , mobogene one click root tool. But sadly nothing worked.I am on kitkat 4.4.2.
I have a solution don't root bro
try kingroot **not kingo root !!!!
I also have this device I also installed few other ROMs !!!
Or you could flash a twrp IMG file and root using it !!!!
Bro i myself rooted this phn by many methods
1- by twrp
2- by sp tool
3- by kingoroot pc
1- i ported twrp recovery for this device and twrp gives the option to root this device automatically
2- install twrp by installing stock firmware and replace the stock recovery by the twrp recovery and flash firmware by sp tool
3- easiest way ..connect your phone by pc and open kingoroot it will automatically root your device
I also ported custom roms for panasonic t41 and i can gave you links for those rom and twrp recovery
If you want ask me for links..

[Q] New update .270 deletes SU binary?

Hello!
So, yesterday I somehow got bootloop with the stock .242 rom on which had recovery, root and xposed. Then I just re-flashed the system using flashtool. I was lazy to do the downgrade rooting method, so I rooted it using kingroot and then installed the dualrecovery from NUT. From there, I installed a .270 .zip which I made using PRF creator and also flashed the dualrecovery zip. The rom runs fine, but I don't have root! When I start SuperSU it says that there is no su binary. I can do anything, it just doesn't work. Could someone explain me what the hell is that or what did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, you must install SuperSU with recovery.
Me i do like this for my update :

How to discover root method ?

Hi,
I've just bought Zenfone2 which came already rooted - no one knows with which method ? So is this possible to investigate which root method was used ?
SuperSU is installed , no busybox - so is the smartest way too unroot via SuperSU and then make oneclick root ? ( I want to install newest rom ... )

Download latest rooted image file and flash with fastboot.
Download 19.40.12 OTA and put on 32gb sd card and reboot to recovery.
It will mean you don't have to do it anyway because you have a phone that is bootlooping.
Make sure you get the right version, WW or CN as this can cause problems too....

[Q] Rooting with locked bootloader (? HELP)

Hi! I've been trying to root my Z1C with various programs, like towelroot and etc, and it's not working. I read that you don't have to unlock bootloader (unfortunately even I want to, I can't ) to root your device.
I know that there's a lot of other thread about this. But can we acces root without flashing or something like this? I'm really a beginner in these things. Or there's a way to downgrade android (I really don't want this, I like this new Lollipop)?
Oh and without unlocked bootloader, can I get in recovery to install zip files? Sorry for these silly questions.
Can someone help me please? (sorry for my bad English, I'm Hungarian!)
My build number is: 14.5.A.0.283
you cant root you phone IF you are on Lollipop ROM you need to downgrade to KK by flashtool and best is KK108. After that simply download newroot by munjeni and turnieju on USB debugging and unknown source. And pług your phone to pc and start newroot and thats all. Very easy

Oh. Thanks for the reply. Can you get link for great Tutorial? Or maybe you could write me what to do, you said it's easy...
EDIT: What if I pre-root an 5.0.2 Firmwire?? With PRFCreator?

Aha... I got stuck at
Code:
7. Open Terminal emulator and type :
"Su"
Allow root permission
Type:
"sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh"
It says: /system/bin/sh: su: not found.
I had this also. I took an other version of kingroot
I think I used the latest. Check the kingroot thread.

Okay, now I downgraded back to KitKat, now I'm fully rooted, with dual recovery. So....now if I flash the new android via recovery, the recovery will disappear???? I mean, I want to install root from recovery on the 5.0.2.

If You flash a PRF, it should have a recovery. If not, You can still install a recovery since You will be rooted.
