You can download a pc tool named iPhone WhatsApp to Android Transfer to help. It lets you transfer and merge whatsapp chat messages from iPhone to Android directly on computer. Easy to use.
Hope it helps.

Transfer iPhone Whatsapp Chat History to Android
Have you backup for you data on your iTunes? If yes, you can find them in the folder which is belong to iTunes. Or you may also use iTunes to save your iPhone data and then move them on your new phone by connecting it with your computer. If you don't use iTunes, you can move your iPhone's data to your computer by using this method.
Mail it (obvious for smaller data volumes)
Use WiFi transfer - you need iPhone to be connected to the same network as the PC. On my android phone tethering and connect both the iPhone and the PC to this WiFi.
Then just use WiFi whatsapp chat history transfer on iPhone. Technically the iPhone starts a FTP server and displays the URL. You connect to this URL from the PC (via whatsapp chat historyZilla, Total Commander etc.)
But you'd better pay attention when you transfer the whatsapp chat historys, you need to make sure you have already have the backup of them. Transferring whatsapp chat historys may cause the whatsapp chat history-loss problem. Here is a post for avoiding whatsapp chat history-loss problem may be helpful for you.

Hello,
Has anybody found an alternative solution to Wazzapmigrator (as it is not free on android play anymore). I am looking to moving all whatsapp chats and media from an iphone to a new samsung handset.
Look forward to your comments.
cheers!

When I recently upgraded my iPhone 4s to iPhone 6, I was stuck with WhatsApp problem. For some people, it isn't much of an issue; they don't care about losing the old chat history and they are quite happy to start over. But I'm not one of them. So I want to transfer WhatsApp Messages from the old iPhone to the new one.
Thankfully, I found both iTunes and iCloud can give me a hand in this problem. In this post, I'll share with you three ways to transfer WhatsApp messages from iPhone to iPhone.
Way 1: Restore WhatsApp chat history to new iPhone from iCloud backup
Way 2: Transport your WhatsApp chats to a new iPhone by using WhatsApp iCloud backup
Way 3: Move WhatsApp messages from iPhone to iPhone with iTunes Backup
In the other hand, if you want to erase some of your iPhone feature you can used iPhone data eraser, this will help you in erase iphone call history, erase iphone contacts, delete iphone photos and etc.

SMS on Computer / Mac

Hey all,
Got the Pixel 2 XL and love it so far. Came from an iPhone 7 Plus, and really miss iMessage, but am learning to deal with it.
One feature that I've been trying to figure out how to do is have it so I can send text messages from my laptop. I remember back when I had my Galaxy Nexus I used to be able to use an app to mimic essentially how iMessage allows me to text people from my phone or my mac. Looking for something like that again.
I've tried researching but all I can find are thread's / articles from a couple years ago about apps that seem pretty dated. I tried using MightySMS, but after a certain amount of messages per month it requires a subscription.
Personally, I would have loved if Hangouts still allowed SMS, and that would've been the perfect solution.
Any suggestions?
I'm truly sorry if this subject has been beat to a pulp, as I imagine it probably has. I tried researching beforehand, and as mentioned, everything I found was pretty old.
I recommend and use Pushbullet as my daily driver. It is very light with Windows and Web integration. There is not a native app for MacOS but you can use Noti to sync to desktop. I personally just use the web version with desktop notifications on on any platform. If you have Verizon then there is Verizon Messages which is very robust and allows for syncing to iOS. Also MightyText and AirDroid but they are extremely bulky.
I used to use Airdroid quite a lot, and it was certainly a good program that did what it advertised. The only reason I stopped using it is because most people I communicate with use Whatsapp, and Whatsapp web is better than any SMS app on a computer.
Hangouts still does text messaging (SMS) or at least it did a few months ago when I used it last. Install it if it's not there then click on SMS in settings to enable.

I'm in full agreement on WhatsApp. Unfortunately in my experience (at least in my friends/family circle) it's tough for me to convince iPhone users to switch over to using WhatsApp.

As far as I've researched it only supports SMS now if you have your number ported to Google Voice or use Project Fi. Otherwise you cannot.
You are correct, Hangouts is not able to use your cell carrier number.
I've been using Mightytext for years, LOVE it! Does just want I need without the need fuss. Love it!
I use Join. It does clipboard sharing, notifications, SMS, and more. Has a PC app and chrome extension which should work on mac? It's $5 after a month free. Well worth it. I use it constantly both for texting and to send files or share a webpage from my phone to pc or vice versa. Give it a look

I'll 2nd Mighty Text here. I use the free version and never found anything else better, including PB. MT has a 200 SMS per month limit... I've hit it once in 3 years? I use it on my Wi-Fi tablet too.
+1 for Pushbullet. works great for me.
Mighty text or Pushbullet.
I've seen too many bugs in Pushbullet though.
Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Not sure who your provider is but I used to use Mighty Text when I was with T-Mobile. Verizon has desktop apps for Windows and Mac, however there can be syncing delays on the desktop versions.

I just bought Join and like it, except that the chrome extension conversation closes after I respond to a text. What am I missing?

Yeah I guess that's how it works. I must be used to it because I had to test it. It does seem to stay, I think, if you click on the extension and pop out join in a new window. But if you just reply to a text and don't already have it popped out in a new window it will disappear. There's pretty good support here if you want to ask http://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php?forums/join/
I like Join .. BUT .. Google Drive is blocked at work and since this is where it stores files/messages .. I can't use it. I use MySMS to send and receive texts but I might check out MightyText since it had some positive feedback.
I like Pulse.
It lets you sync messaging between multiple devices and the web as long as the primary phone is left on and has service. You can even text from a second phone using it. That's useful if you have a data only sim in a phone or a tablet.
In my experience the developer can be a bit hostile to bug reports when he isn't sure how to fix it or if you make a suggestion that doesn't align with his vision, but the app is well done.
I downloaded Pulse a few days ago it it seems to work well so far. I also really like the look of it.

Should be a backup to cloud option in WhatsApp itself
There is indeed, go to SETTINGS/CHATS and there is an option called CHAT BACKUP... Select it, click the big arsed green backup button... Wait for it to fully backup to the cloud.
Make sure you have a Sim in the S9, run Whatsapp on the s9, activate it with the text message that they will send.. The first thing Whatsapp will do is offer to restore your backup from the cloud... Make sure you accept the offer.. It's a one time offer only.
If you know how to transfer photos ,contacts and music from iPhone Samsung, moving WhatsApp History is not hard for you ,
It's pretty much how I laid it out step for step.

You can start here :https://www.tunesbro.com/transfer-whatsapp-message-from-iphone-to-android.html
I am wondering that how you connect your iPhone and Samsung , i've failed several times before and I've given up .
If you want to move WhatsApp history from iPhone to Samsung S9, neither iCloud or Google drive can work with this. Luckily here is a video about this, watch and follow it.

2.Open setting>chats>chats backup
3.Tap "backup now" to backup your WhatsApp history
4.Install WhatsApp on Android phone
5.Sign in your WhatsApp account on Android phone.
Then you can find WhatsApp history on your Android phone.

Pixel 2XL to Iphone XS Max...Move to iOS not working

Hi all,
I know this might be blasphemy but I wanted to try using an iPhone XS Max, but the move to iOS app will not connect the iPhone to my Pixel 2XL. It will connect fine with my old Nexus phone running android 8.0.
Has anyone tried using the move to iOS app using android 9.0 and/or the Pixel 2XL?
I tried on a OnePlus on 9.0.. it didn't work either.
I did this exact same swap. Pixel XL2 to iPhone XS Max. I love the new phone very much. I could not get the swap app to work either. I am getting by without anything transferred. I did a backup of my sms to Gmail and also use google photos on my iPhone. I really don’t need much else.

Thanks, could you let me know how you did the sms backup to Gmail? Did that allow you to transfer your texts to the iPhone or are they just stored in gmail for reference?
I didn’t get the sms to transfer from the Pixel to the iPhone unfortunately. I even purchased a piece of software online and it showed the texts and went through all of the actions but never showed up on he messages app of the iPhone. I believe it was called dr.fone swap. The app I used on the pixel was called backup+ and it added a sms label in gmail and threaded all of the sms messages together just like a gmail conversation. Good luck!
Well if it helps anyone, I was able to get texts transferred using my old Nexus phone running Android 8. I transferred all my texts using sms backup and restore and the iPhone connected to the Nexus and transferred everything. The only thing that seems impossible to transfer is whatsapp messages, but I'll settle for that.

Transfer messages from iPhone X to LG Wing

Hey all, I'm very new to this, so please be nice.
I recently decided to break up with Apple, and I bought the LG WIng. Using Google Drive, I've been able to move contacts, pictures, etc. from my iPhone X to my new LG Wing. The problem I'm having is that I cannot transfer message history.
To add a lyaer of complexity, I do not have a computer. There are instruction on how to transfer messages using computer software, even iTunes, but I have access to none of this.
I read about an app called LG Mobile Switch, which can supposedly transfer messages with a cable. However, this app does not seem to be available in Apple's App Store.
Curious to know if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to overcome it.
Thanks
cmiles_abcd
Not sure from an iPhone. I just used SMS backup but I was going from Android to Android. And it worked just fine.

Sorry for the delayed reply. To transfer text messages from iPhone X to LG wing, maybe you can try phone transfer tool like Coolmuster Mobile Transfer, MobileTrans, Easeus Mobimover, etc. Such tool can help us transfer text messages and other data like contacts, books(pdf&epub),music, videos, photos from iPhone to Android phone. Usually, they are not free. You need to pay for the full version. About the details, please search online. Hope this will be your help.
