Display --> Screen mode - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
Is there a significant difference using dynamic display instead of standard/natural/movie ? talking about the battery consumption.
I assume dynamic is brighter so it discharges more but in a significant way ?

You can go to Settings\System\Screen and you can manipulate these two parameters there.

Screen Brightness adjustment

Hi guys, i was just wondering,
i want to adjust the brightness level in my Gnex according to my taste, which is set the minimum at 25% and then up to 100%. Ultra low brightness as found in stock and custom roms makes the screen look horrible, at 25% its 1000x better.
Now the tricky part is that i want to leave it at auto, simplyfying it i would like to have the brightness set at auto but the min and max values at 25-100%
How can i do this?
thanx in advance

[Q] Screen settings

Hi all. I've seen this feature in the first note and now I see it again.
Adjusting tone save the energy saver based on image analysis
Is this option really make a difference?

I always have it set to off. I had it on but never noticed any difference. My guess is that if you are looking at a very colorful image, prolly the screen will lighten more up or over-saturate the colors to look nicer. Maybe even the brightness who knows.
According to a cnet article:
" There's another adjustment on the Note 2 to that significantly affects picture quality. Samsung applied the cryptic moniker "Auto adjust screen tone" (AAST) to a check box at the bottom of the Display menu. Uncheck it and the phone's full light output capabilities are unshackled, nearly doubling its contrast ratio and improving its ability to compete with ambient light. Turning off AAST also improves color accuracy slightly. "
Seems like changes the colour tone of brighter colours to reduce their brightness.
I keep it on since I like milder screens.
If you prefer low brightness and want to save power , keep it on.
If you find yourself using high brightness often, turn it off.

LiveDisplay and vibration with CM12.1 and co

Hi all,
Anyone knows if there is a trick to be able to :
- use the LiveDisplay functionnaly of CM12.1 without introducting lags ?
- reduce the strength of the vibrate mode ?
I use the MDNIE Tuner (movie/photo/basic profile) with my Tab S 8.4 to overcome the oversaturated original colors of the AMOLED screen. This app makes wonder but it also would be nice to be able to slightly adapt temperature of the display (so that colors would be even more outstanding). LiveDisplay does exactly that but my tablet is very laggy when activated.

Does it have an ultra battery save mode like Samsung/MIUI 11?

Hi Guys,
Considering this phone next as I need an AMOLED screen, quick charge and 730SD.
Does it have an option like ultra battery mode/ultra power saving mode which disables everything except basic phone functions with dark background to prolong battery life like ultra battery mode in Samsung, VIVO and MIUI phone?
Thanks
I have learned Color OS doesn't have this option from a YouTube video. Looking at Vivo Z1X.
