[Q] - Hardware returning to default settings. - HTC One X

Hello guys.
I wanna ask, when doing reset to default through bootloader, is controller calibration resets too? so may be reset through hardware button will fix my problem.
Im asking because BatteryMonitorWidgetPro shows mA drops after using and after that most power comes back. or may be its usual being of this program on HoX?
here is sample of my battery work, there is good looking spikes(and yes,im not charge phone in this spikes):

flash the cm-snap kernel, charge and then calibrate your battery
IIRC, that is normal for Cyanogen. It cuts normal battery usage so much that the display eats more than the rest of the phone together. Hence, the biggest battery moocher becomes the screen, not because it eats more power, but because its competition eats much much less.

this calibrate thing how do you do it? and i thought cm6 had the snap kernel in it already. (sorry if i sound like a noob i am one...thus my post count , i read alot though before i post )

no cm does not have the snap kernel. to calibrate the battery you charge it to 100% and then wipe your battery stats from recovery. this should take care of most peoples battery issues.
but i dont see your problem. almost 13hr unplugged is very good for this particular phone.

[Q] Battery Calibration Question for Classic v0.0.9

Sorry, I can't post in the ROM thread yet. Just wondering if I need to calibrate the battery every time I pull the battery. I ask because I use a wall charger for my batteries.
I have three that I rotate so I always have a fresh one with me. I feel a lot better letting the wall charger do the work so its one less thing the EVO has to do. No wear and tear on the port too.
If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Che
No, you just need to calibrate the battery each time you flash the rom; pulling the battery is fine.
Thanks. Wasn't sure if it needed to be done for each battery every time since they are different ages and have limited lifespans.
I've been doing it every time and have been getting amazing battery life. Could be the new ROM too.

I use to calibrate the battery as well until I read heard about by wiping it doesn't do anything... Correct me if I'm wrong.. just throwing that out there..
Sent from my PC36100 using xda premium
To be honest, I'm not 100% on what exactly happens during battery calibration.
I thought it was something done to the phone; how it saw the limits of the battery; and not something done to the battery it self.
Any one who knows a little more about it feel free to correct me.

Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda app-developers app
0. photo it from all sides, especially new back cover and post here!
1. first couple of cycles 0-100%
2. use an app from 'mugen power' in store, it supports several different batteries
Are chinese batteries like this one legit?

Its the phone's radio, the one responsible for functions such as calls, messages and mobile data . it is required to maintain the phone signal . Based on the stats as the person above said its your live wallpaper causing the wake locks. Baseband xmm power is normal usage I suppose.

It can also be an alarm/notification that is causing it. I've had this issue before and it was an app that gave notifications in the background without actually showing you the notifications.
In my case I think it was the V-Pet app (my gf has nostalgia with Digimon ). Notifications were disabled but it was still sending them out hidden to the system.
Somewhere in my post history is help regarding this issue. If you need help I'll go dig that thread out

Yep. Use a Touchwiz ROM. Or if your attached to the ROM try using a battery calibrator.

I thought battery calibrating was a myth haha .
I had this problem before as well and switching OS's between TW and AOSP didn't help.
If your screen is flickering at around 15% and then your device cuts out, it also indicates the battery is gone for good.
I'd suggest getting a new OEM battery or go for a third party company like Gorilla Gadgets or iAnker Tech.
But flashing a TW ROM is other worth your shot as well if it'll fix it
