No chainfire needed. Buy on Google Play and then download older version from internet. Ace 2 works flawlessly with GTA 1.2.
Remember that you must have phone rooted and vold.fstab changed or you won't have enough storage space to install this game.
Give it a try, game is working just fine, although without lags need to set minimum of 400Mhz
Confirmed-v1.2 is running perfectly smooth.

When i go on gameloft.com (with SGS2) and click on "BUY" Asphalt6, then i get a message from T-Mobile: This service is currently not available!

I've got Asphalt 6 HD and it's running fine on my Galaxy SII. I bought it of my either O2 or Virgin Sim I don't rememnber which though. I got it for a pound aswell which is a bargin.
Asphalt6 works on my gs2 untouched o2 phone.
It doesnt seem to be super responsive though. I found asphalt 5 on my gs worked better than this. Could just be how the game runs on anything.
I have the same problem with riptide, just closes.
Since chainfire app update and installing the shaders Riptide is working perfectly and the graphics are amazing.
The first game, which is very beautiful.
Asphalt6 HD is working, but the graphics aren't very nice ..
yup latest update fixed riptide closing problem for me.... Give it a shot!
Are you trying Reptide demo or full version? Because demo didnt work for me, full version did. This has been confirmed by the creator Chainfire 3D.. Dont know if the demo works now.
Anyway, the full version works! And its worth it... More then just good graphics!
Yes very nice graphics, but a car racing game, like Asphalt6HD with the quality of RiptideGP would be very nice for me.
Because Riptide is only racing aroung maps, nothing else..
In Asphalt6 you are able to tune your car, change cars ect.
Asphalt6 graphics are not much better than "nonHD" games..
The RipTide demo works fine _if_ you install the shaders. Find the shaders for the full version of the game, and rename the 3 files inside the .ZIP replacing "blue" with "bluedemo". Install the resulting file into Chainfire3D and the demo then works.

I'm able to start riptide, but the game itself is nearly black with some pixels. I installed chainfire and the shaders. I also tried the tegrad-libs (which a working cause I can play pinball which doesn't work without tegra-libs).
any solution? :-(

Can any one please give me the SD CARD DATA FILES FOR ASPHALT 6 HD FOR SGS2.. AS i am not having a WIFI and no direct internet connection. I am using it in a college with proxy ..
so i will have to manual install it the data files..

As title, i got graphic problem to run Riptide GP 1.02 on my galaxy S2. I installed ChainFire 3D 2.8 Pro, 3 plugins (NVIDIA, QUALCOMM, POWERRVR) and the custom shader for Riptide GP for galaxy s2 in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14516601&postcount=717. Below is the problem that i mean for, able to run the game but the game is in graphic in print screen attached. Can anyone help me ?

hmmm... works fine for me with chainfire (set on nvidia and thats all)
Had tried different kind of configuration but the display is still same..would it be possible because of firmware ? or different kernel ? i guess the plug in i use is same with everyone..
had this issue before,i fixed this by set the default plugin to nvidia even that i had set the per app to nvidia..
Can anyone please give the link where u got the plug-ins? Mine seems to be not working.
i got mine working.. but it need internet connection to be able to play.. cant play while offline

open cf-3d 2.8pro=>per-app openGL settings=>Riptide Gp..scroll down and tick dump shaders. then launch the game, everything should work fine now. enjoy!
make sure u selected nvidia plug-in.

hi guys. Im using ICS Beta with KA11 rom. I've overclocked to 1.4 ghz, and set gaming profile in ram manager. but when i was driving car, the games lagging a very. and I Can't get working gamepad. Gamepad/Touchpad didn't work. Should I back to stock ?
The games not lagging, it just runs at a low frame rate for some reason. As for the gamepad, I don't know.

I got a R800X 2.3.3 fully bloatware free and no programs running when i play this game and is very slow, to the point is not fun to play at all, its too bad because it looks as a good game if the framerate was good
Believe me, it's the game, not your phone.

I wish they released a patch or someone find a way to play at good speed, find weird that they optimized the controls for the play but not the running fps (my play gamepad works fine in this game) i just cant play because of the speed
Hi, i have used on my old Xperia play Snes9x Ex, and it played excellent, but i sold my play and im planing to get another.
How does the Snes9X EX+ Version than requires more Cpu power runs on the xperia play? do any games lag that worked fine on the non Ex+ version?

You can always download the non plus version at his website which is continued to be updated.
The plus version is fast enough with GB roms, but doesn't fast forward as smooth.

Thanks, im planning to use a GB rom, i want to use the EX+ version because i use it also on my S3, so i can swap savestates, also i like the EX+ version more since it has better rom support and i can also update it via google play.
I dont't mind the Fast foward, since i dont use it, i just dont want it to lag in normal gameplay.
Its fast enough on GB roms. If you plan on using it on JB roms you have to disable GPU Sync Hack for video to work. If it ever feel slow you can over clock. With GB rom I have no problem getting 60fps with the plus version.
Haven't had a single rom not work with the regular version though.

My problem is whenever I try to play gameloft games it's just loading on the screen with a circle and black background then after a while it will go to the home screen.:crying: Almost All gameloft games that I already tried didn't work on my GN2 N7105 international version. other games will work but not gameloft games. Am I missing something here? Im rooted but running everything on stock. I just really want to play and try the gameloft games but still no go. anyone can help me fix this issue? Thanks in advance!
Have u tried to backup ur apps and factory reset the phone and then install games and see if that works ?

are you connected to wifi and have you download the gamedata? some games will only become playable after you download the gamedata (using wifi)..
