The Aeroevan [ROM] Unofficial CM9 for vivow (2012-09-05) Community Support Thread - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Since Aeroevan's CM9 thread was closed, I felt the forum members might want a thread to continue community support for the ROM. Feel free to create community support threads such as this for all the other ROM threads which were closed because of lack of dev support.
To continue with the last post in the original thread found here:

Really? I haven't had any Netflix issues. Are you on the latest build?

Without any new developments this is more appropriate for the general section. If in the future you wish to start maintaining the ROM feel free to PM me and I can move this back for you.

[ROM][CM9][OFFICIAL] Cyanogen mod OFFICIAL CM9 | 06/01/13

Hey Everyone.
I'm am not an S owner but recently i've noticed that Cyanogenmod website added Xperia S to their list of supported devices...
Have searched the forum and didn't find that info here so here you go:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=stable&device=nozomi
Screen from cyanogenmod site attached....
That's a good info but if you didn't create it doesn't belong here, info belongs to the general section ,there's already a thread for CM 9 and it is maintained by the members of cyanogen team , i will ask a mod to move this..
Sent from my Xperia S using xda premium
We all know By the way thanks
On the page "get.cm", there is a section for nozomi since long time
But we have a FXP Team and they make all for us
the device has official cm9 support since "2012-08-11" !
not being aggressive but i see no point of this thread !
screen shot ????
are you blind?

[Q] Back up data or not with Paranoid OTA ?

Hello,
I installed this custom rom yesterday on my Galaxy Nexus : [ROM] [4.4.2] [OFFICIAL] ParanoidAndroid 4.3 [BETA]
I saw today that an update was available on the app "Paranoid OTA" for my custom rom.
Do I have to back up my data before making the update or I am going to keep all my data ?
I don't know the functioning of this application and I am a novice concerning the root.
Thank you in advance.
PS : Sorry for my English, I am French-speaking.
Could somebody post my question in this topic ?
--> [ROM] [4.4.2] [OFFICIAL] ParanoidAndroid 4.3 [BETA]
I cannot post there because I am a new member and because I have less than 10 messages.
Jerome168, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Please Read: New members (those with fewer than 10 posts) are not permitted to post to development-related forums. The developer forums are intended for experienced users and developers to discuss ways to improve technical aspects related to ROMs and Software. While you may be an expert, we ask ALL users to avoid posting questions about using or installing ROMs and software in the Development Forums. To encourage this new Users can read but not post in these forums.
To ask Questions about developing your device, installing ROMs, software and themes you must go to the Q&A or General Forum.

Nobody can't help me ?

Dude you don't need to backup or wipe anything to update but it never hurts to keep backups handy.

OK, thank you.
Thus I am going to keep all my personal data, it is cool.
This system of update of the custom rom is really useful. :good:

[Q] Why no Cyanogenmod forum in the Custom ROM Central section?

Why there is no general section to discuss Cyanogenmod on the forums?
Because it depends on the device .. All devices cannot accept the same version CMs

So do the other ROMs in the Custom ROM Central section
Wouldn't a separate CM section provide easier access to general information, than digging in countless device sub forums!?
CyanogenMod is massive, so is there website which even has it's own forums: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/
I think that's why they don't bother having one here
I'm really hoping for a cm12 soon with a new update

Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [2xROM][UNOFFICIAL][5.0.2]Mokee and CM12 [2/02/2015] by Wangsai008 for all F240X. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

reposting in a hurry and no time to reupload on english site, anyone else feel free to reupload for me, but i want to benefit all F240x users who's left in the dark with all the E980 updates
ill clean this thread soon but here's 2 roms by Wangsai008 with updated kernels on 5.0.2 to work, took me long time to find as he is a clever yet mystery man who updates on completely different sites each time he posts roms, you need to know Chinese rather well to even search for it.
CM12 (based on 2/2/2015 nightly) unofficial F240x with updated kernel
cannot post link im a newbie*
Mokee - updated 3/2/2015 rom on the existing one on this forum for all F240x
cannot post link im a newbie*
**the thread is in LG G Pro> Orig Android dev
click on the top where it says size of the zip file, then click on right button on the pop up to download
any 5.0 lollipop Gapps will work fine so i wont post links, i prefer minimal gapps
anyone can also try to rip the Kernel out and try it on other E980 roms
