[Request] Live Wallpaper - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey so I was hoping someone knew how or would like to create a live wallpaper that would look nice. Back on sense on the original evo, there was that sense moving colorful circles, always wanted someone to attempt to make a cooler version of that. If anyone is up to it, or knows where I could find a section on xda willing, I would appreciate it.
But anyways, my general idea is like this wallpaper (not 100%) I found but moving, passing over one another, all that. Maybe color changing like fading to different colors or movement speed in its settings or any of that kind of stuff. This is only an idea I think some people would love for a nice neutral live wallpaper considering a lot now a days aren't so good imo...
Edit: I know this isn't a request forum or shouldn't be named request, more of possible ideas to be developed. And the reason I don't use the sense one is because it got a bit boring.. I'm personally a fan of black with bright colors or abstract, what ever it would be called.

[Q] theme for email app

The email app looks good in the list view. It uses an oled friendly dark background. The email doesn't look as good when it is opened. I did notice an option for view settings that changes the color a bit. Does anyone know what it would take to get white text on a black background?

Sorry, dude. It took a lot longer to theme than I thought.
But I think I got it down SMASH.
Give this a shot. It should work, but I'm not the best themer on the planet. We may need to escalate this to someone better.
I am so stoked to hear how much you like it.

WP Clock Live wallpaper

Hopefully this is in the right place to post, but I had to share this for those that never heard of this live wallpaper.
Its easy on the battery since there's not alot moving, and overall just a nice informative wallpaper to have.
There's a free and paid version 65cents? Paid version doesn't really offer to much more than the free one, besides choosing a background and different color fonts and making the font move. But at 65cents not a bad deal I suppose.
Its called WP Clock on the market.
i just love WP Clock..
May I ask if anyone knows what is the widget that looks like the wallpaper with the clock and the tine n stuff but its a widget instead of a wallpaper.

Is this what you're looking for?
Been using this for a full month by now. It's by far the most useful/pretties widget replacing wallpaper I've yet to use.
And for its price, it's a steal.
this thing rocks... LOVE IT!!!
just bought wp clock and i must say it looks fantastic. one thing abt it though, i don't like how its a wallpaper so every homescreen's filled with the thing. really need the space on other homescreens for other stuff. if only they could make this into a widget. typoclock looks similar but i love the data connection and battery info. i tried using multi live wallpaper to have multiple wallpapers simultaneously but it doesnt support using a live wallpaper and a normal one from the gallery. so i guess im stuck, or has anyone found a solution for this yet?

the developer is really good at taking and implementing suggestions... I asked for drop shadow, but he wasn't able to figure that out, so he did the outline so I set my text to white (40% opaque) and outline to black (4pt 80% opaque) and it's almost as good as drop shadow... definitely gives enough contrast to where you can read it no matter what your background is... tell you what, I would actually like the same thing, so I will request it as well, and maybe we'll get it twice as fast =)

[Q] GB Calendar App (Help)

I'm visually impaired
I've got my Cyanogen (7.0.3.1) modded Evo set up great for my low vision issue with one exception.
The android calendar app is great, I use it very much.
However it is extremely difficult for me to read
It is kind of a gray-ish font, on a white background (and the font size is hard for me to read as well)
Is there a way to make the background color black, and the font color white (and possibly the font size a bit bigger)?
With my bad eyes, I have really come to rely heavily on my Evo. I would sincerely appreciate some help with this if possible.
Have a good one.
Skid
My apologies if this goes against Forum rules.
Bump
Sorry folks, just another bump in hopes of finding a solution.
Would this question be better suited to another Evo area perhaps?
Possibly any 3rd party apps accomplish this?
Again, thanks for the help and the patience with the bumps.

[STOCK] Wallpaper Template +other stuff!

I was getting pretty frustrated with how our phones crop the wallpaper these days.
I was looking and looking for a wallpaper template, but couldn't find one. So I made one.
It's in Paint.net's PDN, Gimp's XCF, and Photoshop PSD
The wallpaper I made in the screenshot was using the PDN.
I only made the XCF and PSD for those of you who do not like using Paint.net, I assume they work just as well, but haven't tested them.
If they don't work properly, let me know and I'll try to fix them.
In the Templates.7z package you'll find the blank E4GT-Template.xxx which is 960x800 @ 206ppi
I had read that the stock wallpapers were 960x800, which seems to be the size of the cropping block when you set a wallpaper.
480x800 is the screen size, you'll notice there are (2) 240x800 black bars on the sides, these get truncated.
All you have to so is add whatever image you want as a layer behind the "Box" layer.
What you can see is what you'll get when you set the wallpaper on your phone.
I've attached a screenshot of my phone with a Borderlands 2 style wallpaper I made.
Just for you, I've included the template for it as well: BL2-Blank.pdn
You'll notice a solid red background on the this one, this is to check for gaps.
If there are no gaps, you won't see it when you flatten the image, or just delete it.
If you have more than 5 pages of stuff, you'll need to change the size of the top box for the page indication thing.
This is for people who are stock, or don't have scrolling wallpaper as an option.
Feedback is appreciated.
Enjoy!
If you're running stock, one of Samsung's updates actually disabled the scrolling wallpaper feature - originally, you would in fact make wallpapers 960x800. It's actually one of the reasons I went and rooted my phone - I loved that feature, and I thought it was lame that they took it out.
That being said, this is very useful, especially for those running a single screen setup, or running stock. I haven't made a wallpaper in such a long time - I'll edit one into this post for anyone interested. Maybe a Fallout inspired one?

This reminds me that I forgot to mention a few things in the original post.
Something Fallout/Pip-boy inspired could be cool!

The wallpapers are extremely annoying. I never uses scrolling before, but when they took it away it messed up everything.

I got the Nova Launcher from Play while it was on sale, made a background for it using the same template and made some folder backgrounds
The regular grey bar was ripped from the site same as the yellow one I used on the Maya background.
The regular box is made from it.
The Modified images I smoothed the coloring out, and made the orange a little darker, preserving the highlights.
I'm including the background if anyone wants it, and a screenshot of how I used it.
You need to make the dock margins Large.

Make a little girl happy

Help me "Hello Kitty" the hell out of a new 16GB Nexus 7. I need some ideas. I'm leaving it stock(since she's eight). I'll probably have it run Nova Prime. That's about as far as I have gotten. I don't want to just slap a hello kitty wallpaper on it and call it a night, I'd like to make it really shine. Any ideas? Any screenshots of said ideas?(They wouldn't have to contain hello kitty, just sort of be a template).

Of course make sure you do NOT have a credit card associated with this Google Account if a child is using it. Hello Kitty feeds on in app purchases.
The next thing you want besides a wallpaper is some sort of theme or icon set. A quick search on Google Play found a couple, but it seems iffy if they will run on a tablet (they don't seem to have been updated in a while)
Help this person out everyone!
Lucky kid you got there You should probably make a whole folder of Hello Kitty wallpapers and then use some kind of app to keep switching them up every once in a while.
Try this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.photoWallpaper
Or try Multi picture live wallpaper.

Worth rooting just to be able to do a HelloKitty bootanimation.
A bit of googling finds these:

http://madteam.co/forum/design-16/bootanimation/30/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34786556&postcount=1213
NOTE: I haven't tried any of these.
Boot animation would be cool, but you may want to avoid system changes like that as they may make future ota updates a hassle.
http://mycolorscreen.com/?s=hello+kitty&searchsubmit=Go
you could get some pretty ideas from there and no root required
I would try to find anything related to hello kitty on the app store..Maybe find some nice Hello Kitty icons? Most of this will probably be paid purchases but at least you will be giving her exactly what you want and not just something.

Or just search web images and copy into your gallery the correct size and use as wallpaper.
That's pretty much how I find all my wp and icons. I'm doing the same for a 10 year old. So much easier finding free apps at the Amazon app store for kids... things I've installed:
"Tools": eclean, School Helper, the English Dictionary, Airdroid, Unit Converter, Mobi Calculator.
"Photo": Zedge, Photo Editor, Picasso, Picsay, Quickpic.
"Media": IMDB, Kindle, YouTube, Flipboard (with kids stuff), Shazam, My Piano.
"Google": Earth, Sky, Goggles, and all the normal ones.
"Games": Air Control,Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, X-Construct, Dropwords, Block Puzzle, Jewels, Crossme, Chess Free, Temple Run, Ocean Bubble, Bean's Quest, Magic Academy, and Origami Instructions.
HOLO Launcher, easy to set up, very fast and smooth. Wifi Status icon on each screen so she turns it off. World Weather Clock widget.
Just trying to decide between "Text Now", "Heywire", and Google Voice, for her texting... probably let her decide.
make boot animation a hello kitty one that says "hello kitty and hello childs name"?
How about a UCCW clock.

At OP,
You said you would be using Nova Prime so use it!
You can install a pink adw theme which will change some of the icons using the icon theme under the look and feel settings, under the same setting change the colour theme to pink, uncheck infinite scroll on the home screen setting so when you hit the last home screen it glows the colour you've set....pink.
Set the transparency under the drawer setting to a ΒΌ or less so you can vaguely see your wallpaper, grab a free hello kitty clock and some Widgets and you're away.
Pic is for illustration purposes, you have to use your imagination cos a hello kitty on my N7 was a bit a step too far for me to show you.....hint, don't forget to save your settings, I didn't lol.
And what you have is a stock N7 with a light pink theme plus calenders, widgets and clocks of your choice for free, if you wish to pay for an hello kitty icon pack its your choice.

Soft case
Hi - I have a seven year old daughter, and she managed to drop my Nexus 7 on the floor and break it within a few months of me getting it, so first and foremost, get a soft case that will make it drop proof. My daughter is pretty sensible, but accidents happen and these things are fragile.
I've now got an Amzer soft silicone case for the replacement N7 (which is presently wrapped and under the tree), which should make it drop proof (based on reviews on Amazon). They are available in various shades of pink!

+1 amzer silicone case, they have a hot pink one that'll work with hello kitty smashingly. There's a Hello Kitty live wallpaper from Sanrio and a few cafe/salon games. UCCW for sure, and then use HDW or Beautiful Widgets to add in a pink control bar for her, so she can easily access the settings she'd want to change such as brightness. The hello kitty keyboard would be great because typing takes a lot of screen space, and besides, keyboards are one more way to express style. Just make sure it's durable/waterproof. And I'd get a hello kitty satchel/purse that fits her tablet securely. You're an awesome santa for doing this, BTW! -Ara
