[Q] Emoji support CM10? - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

So I flashed the new CM10 Alpha 3 on my Wonder and I recently found out that the original 4.1 & 4.2 ROMs also support emoji. My question is will the custom ROM CM10 ever have this feature or does it already hv it?
Thanks for any help

By Emoji I mean those colored smileys and various images that you insert in you texts, email and such. Its similar to the old fashioned emoticons and you see ppl use the a lot on Instagram or Facebook

No that's not what I meant. I know that you can view some of the emoji sent from an iPhone but they are in B&W.
If u Google "emoji on android 4.1" u should find a site where it tells you how to enable emoji on your keyboard.
The instructions say to go to Settings-> Language & input->android keyboard settings->Add-on dictionaries to enable Emoji keyboard but the option "Add-on dictionaries" isn't in the list

Try GOSMS if you want to try something else; it has iOS-like emoji.

Emojis

I noticed 4.2 for verizon added emoji keyboard in android keyboard settings>add on dictionaries. But how so you type these symbols? Maybe I'm blind/dumb but I can't figure it out or nothing really helpful in search of forums.

(Q) Does any ROM Tw or 4.2 have emoji keyboard all the time?

Is there any ROM that has emoji keyboard at all time vs just the MMS app?

What do you mean all the time??
If you're talking about different apps, then no.
You could always go into your messaging app, type down emojis copy them and paste them where you want to use them.

Emoji support for stock 4.1 2

Hey this is my first post. Sorry if this post already exists but I didn't found an answer.
My question, is there any mod where emoji icons are implemented to the stock keyboard? I'm on stock EMC2.
Thank for your help

I don't think it's possible. To much Samsung stuff. Libs and frameworks stuff make it not possible.

It wont run on a non Touchwiz rom since it is dependent upon the framework. You can try it if you like, check out the link in my sig.

There is a way to make AOSP keyboard show numbers on top. Under advanced setting in keyboard add Custom input style English (PC). There is step by step instructions some where here on XDA, just do a search.

This is a handy workaround. Thanks. However, this setting also has punctuation keys on the right, making all the keys smaller. My perference would be for a true Note 2 type keyboard, though as of yet it's not available for 4.2. I'll use this in the meantime, though. The info is appreciated.
