[ROM] Unofficial CM10 for Supersonic - EVO 4G Original Development

Here is my initial attempt to upload a slightly updated version of CM10 for the HTC EVO 4G. This is based on JMZs version and updated to the latest CM10.
CyanogenMod 10 is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.1.2 (Jellybean) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
This is an Unofficial release.
Rom Installation:
1. Download ROM Updated Mar 12, 2013
2. Download Gapps
3. Download A2SD
4. Wipe Data, Cache
5. Flash the ROM
6. Flash GApps
7. Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)
A2SD Installation:
You MUST have an EXT2, EXT3, or EXT4 partition on your sdcard first
1. Flash Rom
2. Flash Gapps
3. Flash Apps2SD
4. Enjoy your new ROM
MazWoz SBC Kernel - If anyone wants SBC
Most things are working but I know the following are broken.
-Video playback may cause a hot reboot
-Camcorder
-4G
-FFC
Additionally, making a phonecall will cause the cpu to max at 614Mhz usually and I recommend going in to performance and bumping it up to 998.
I personally use Boot Manager in the play store to boot to CM7 whenever I need any of these features.

I will be posting CM10.1 once/if I get it working.

Sweet! More CM10! how stable is it? Any random reboots aside from playback?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium

Thanks dude ima try this out
Sent from my PC36100 using xda app-developers app

Its pretty stable. Playback is the only thing I get hot reboots on but let me know if you have other problems. It does take it a little while to settle in after booting but that is true for any ROM. I'll post updates as I build them.

Look good man!! Let me know if you need any help and I'll be more the willing dude!!
Oh, rated your thread 5 stars before the trolls start their crap again! :good:

Also if this ROM takes off, it may be in your best interest to find a host site, such as Dev-host or goo.im. dropbox will suspend your account if it gets hammered.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium

Thanks Mazda, and I'm just waiting till my goo account gets approved and then I will move everything over to their servers.

First page. Sweet. I'll try this one while I wait for 50. lol. Looks great, man!

def will try this

Thanks for this. Checking out now. Thumbs up pal.
Sent from my X10 using xda premium

On the bright side, I never use what never works, so I'm going to try this one out. I digs me some CM10. Thanks.

Same here, tried a couple times & each time would get to the boot animation, look good for about 5 seconds then reboot itself. Tried flashing without the a2sd, same exact thing, boot loop city.
Sent from my GT-P7310 using Xparent Blue Tapatalk 2

I've updated the file. Does it actually bootloop or do you get one reboot and then it work? Sometimes the first boot will reboot and then work fine.

[ROM] MIUI 2.6.29 Unofficial Mix [7/5/12]

I noticed its been a while since MIUI has been updated and decided to take a stab at it
This uses the MIUI.us version on their site that has been updated to be more current.
The CM9 7/3/ nightly is currently used. I plan on hopefully keeping up and updating as CM9 gets updated. This also uses Eugene's kernel and has superuser added in.
External Card is detected in filemanager
Issues
External SD Card isnt mounted when you usb mounting (seems to be common among MIUIv4 builds)
Contacts bug (use other program. I used super backup)
NO WIFI CALLING
Download Link
7/3/12 Version
http://d-h.st/unX
Installation (Same as CM9)
Back up your current ROM.
Install ICS Radio if you havent
Wipe data/factory reset.
Format /system (mounts and storage->format /system).
Install the CM9 zip from SD card.
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON NON-TOUCH CWM RECOVERY:
Install darkside-wipe-cache-only.zip (which fixes bootloop due to bad /cache format)
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON TOUCH CWM RECOVERY:
Format /cache (mounts and storage->format /cache)
Reboot. Let it sit for a few minutes after the first boot.
Thanks

I'm gonna give this a go right now after I do a backup. I actually love MIUI, but it seemed way too unstable for me. Hopefully this runs great. Coming from AOKP as well.
Thanks for this. I'll probably flash in a few days.
Just installed and I noticed that themes do not apply when selected.

Old link down while uploading new version. Themer fixed.
Contact bug still present but adding contacts with other programs should work.
Just tried out ROM. Everything seems good. Its smooth, fast, and haven't noticed any bugs except whats noted in the OP. Excellent work so far. Thank you for your work.
Camera force closes on me. This seems to happen on any and all CM or AOKP based rom. Is there anyone who can help figure out why? No matter how I wipe the camera does not work. Any suggestions?
My camera is working fine I would use a super wipe and wipe
Once USB mount is fixed, I'm all over this. I use my ex sd card for music so its important to me. But its great to see another dev hopped on board for miui. Thanks!

Is this running on 3g speed?? im getting half of the juice i usually get on TDJ's DS rom, thank you
By the way i am not having any fc's on camera or any other problem for that matter
also i noticed that the speed on theme downloads is extremely slow on either wifi or network connection

[PRIMOC] AOKP unofficial port (SUPER W.I.P.)

I have ported AOKP ICS. The device folder went under some major transformations.. So, i dont know if everything works. And I dont even know if it boots, but I DO need testers on the CDMA One V.
The reason I cannot test is because I tether with sprint for my internet and it takes too long to download.
Please logcat, and report any bugs, bootloops, ect here.
The sooner things are reported the sooner I can fix it. Enjoy

10 minutes, no boot. Sat at boot animation.
EDIT: Nvm, I'm an idiot. Forgot to flash boot.img. Will update later. Sorry.

I have cwm installed, i will try again...but one question first: do I have to have an american kind of galaxy note 10.1 (Verizon) or can it be installed on any kind of international Hardware? maybe thats my issue?
Edit1: redownloaded, still not working, same error
Also i have been wondering this. Is it bad to format preload? I did so by accident :/

Yes you will need the vzw note 10.1, that's why the assert is failing. Its a fail safe so a rom isn't flashed on a device its not meant for.

Since there isn't a stock image for the device, would a cwm backup be suitable in rolling back should I experience any issues?

Awesome, thanks for the replies. Flashed this morning and I'm now setting everything up. So far I'm loving it though. Quick boot times and overall it feels a lot leaner. Thanks for the rom and the support. Been following you since the fascinate days.
*Edit* Ran into a redraw issue or something with TouchdownHD. I posted a video at http://youtu.be/dz5gzv6Sdco is there a setting available that might fix this? I've tried re-installing the application and I still get the same issue.
This rom is just like lightning...thanks sbrissen!

Well you might want to hang on to it for a few days and try out the new builds I have going. With some help from sleshepic I am now on a roll and pumping out a few new things. This one (mahdi) is fully working and I am building a fully working beanstalk atm. Then on to Chaos and then baked KK.
Also unlike most 4.4 KK roms this one (mahdi) has a much louder speaker volume both external and on calls. I am trying to find the exactly what the modifications are so I can add them into all my builds. That way users wont need any add-ons to boost the volume.
Jlmancuso I found the ROM but which gapps should I use? Just want to make sure I use the right one

Dont have any bluetooth besides another phone so I am not sure. It will do beam which uses nfc and bluetooth transfer so that is all I can say. I do have another user testing those features atm but could use another.
I am posting link in OP to philz goo.im downloads. It will take you directly to our device so there will be no confusion in that area. All his builds will work with 4.4 but only 6.07.09 will work with all android versions.

Something in the source is broken. Tomorrow I will be digging into this and beanstalk. The thing is when working for current sources they are not always 100% usable. Until a stable release is made everything is like a nightly. Things get changed and some changes are not complete. I just have to mix and match different sources or fix the code myself. Since I am just a novice it takes me longer.
You might want to try my ose build. It looks to be fairly bug free so far.
