I was looking at this last night, actually. They have two versions, one HD and one not. I read the descriptions of both, but couldn't reach a concise decision as to which would better meet my needs. Do you guys have any suggestions? Just got a 10% off coupon and now seems like a good time to buy them so I can stack it with their discount.

I ordered the non hd one last night. Anti glare and anti fingerprint. Going to do a review of several screen protectors.
I used the save15 coupon. google: retailmenot androidshop

Ok got it in yesterday, just put it on and I must say its nice. Good thing there's 3 as my OCD destroyed the first one lol... One thing I don't care for though is the cut. I wish they would just cover the cam and prox. because that corner by the cam is usually where problems start

Still waiting for mine. How does the touch feel and any rainbow effect?

Touch is very nice and smooth and no rainbow effect, it's nice and clear.

any chance we can get a pic of the device with them on it? lol I know they are clear, but i just got my s3 today ("upgraded" from a one s) but i know when i had my nexus s (which the sides of the glass were curved kinda like this) there would always be bubbles on the outside.
Also, are they more of a harder feeling protector or are they the 3m kinda that feel a little rubbery (IMO)??

The fell is hard. The cut is short like all the rest thanks to the curved edge

Just bought the hd and anti finget print. I need a new screen protector, I bought the xo screen protector and was not impress with it.

Received my LLOYD Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint Screen Protectors. Took two weeks to get it to Belgium. Not bad.
Installation was really easy. just one dust pixel.
pro:
no fingerprints! i cleaned mine every chance i get.
I actually like how the touch feels compared to clear ones.
no screen glare
cons:
loss of brightness/quality. I also can see little tiny dots. Like looking at a old television up close. Going to keep it a couple of weeks to see if it still bugs me.

I have stop using cases for quite sometime. The main reason is that here in Cambodia it is so affordable and convenient to get gadget flim wrap.
In the past I only use either clear and frosted flims. I opt for colored flim for my SIII.
Here is how it look like.
Don't mind the crappy screen protector. Waiting for the ones from xtremeguard

That actually looks really good! Do you know of any reputable online retailer that does something similar?
Not really sure. I the films are not pre-cut. They do it the old fashion way whereby the stick and cut thereafter

Do you have a link of what film wrap to buy? Thanks
No I dont, what I can do is when I visit the shop the next time I will look for the film maker/ brand.

That would be great thanks
it's just a film, you'll still get a dented casing if you dropping it.

the point of cases are to protect your phone.
if you want it to just look good, then i think your idea is great.
but when the phone drop face down then i dont think there would be any protection

Is that a wrap on the side as well? if so then how it feel and does it look like it will peel easily? I could use one on my pebble blue phone where the bezel is purple!
I'm going to give the official flip case a try once I finally get my Verizon version of the SGS3 here in the US. I'm bummed out that it doesn't have a magnetic clasp or anything to keep it closed, but at the same time it's a full on case so the phone should obviously handle drops much better. That all being said, the phone is gorgeous and I'm not gonna want keep it hidden! I have the full protection from Verizon so whatever happens to my phone I'll just get another one anyways.
I'm still on the fence. At this point though I'm leaning more towards no case.
i don't think screen protector is of any use because it is gorilla glass
Sent from my GT-I9300
I actually think my white S3 looks better with a Matt black case, because I like the white border around the camera, flash and speaker which contrasts against the black case, and then the black border around edge of phone, I mean not everyone will like that but I dog
I doesn't peel off easily and yes the side is wrapped. So far all the film that the shop doesn't love residue when it is removed.
It is a rough textured. Sort of like mildly used sand paper.

Sgp flex vs other wet install screen protectors

Hi guys what would you recommend?
Ive heard good things about XO where there not much orange peel.
But I want to know if there are other good products.
What the good thing I heard about sgp flex is that there's 2.
Also is there much orange peel on the sgp?
Could you also post pics?
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk 2
I slapped a SGP flex on my nexus on day 1, and after a bad first install, have been happy with it ever since (comes 2 per purchase).
There is a minor peel effect, it doesn't bug me in the slightest personally. Never visible at all with screen on, and feels perfectly smooth. Clarity is very good as well.
I took a few pics trying to show the peel, with very limited success on camera.

The peel you're talking about, is the at the bottom or the top?
Because when it peels at the top Its gonna annoy me and im gonna start peeling it off.

If you mean by peel the edges peeling, there isn't any at all. The orange peel thing where it looks a bit odd in certain angles of light with screen off..pretty uniformly covers the entire protector. But I can't feel it's presence, or rather, you can't after a few days after application and settling.

Screen protector opinion

Hi guys can I have ur opinion on this screen protector. I dont want to spend a lot on a screen protector lol. I just want something that protects it.

Yeah when I got my case I got a screen protector. But it got a lot of bubbles and like the case is picking up the screen protector.

Would be great if someone did a screen protector comparison of all the $1-$10 brands out there to see what, if any differences there are in actual use.
As long as it comes in a box so the protector can't become bent in shipping I imagine they're all quite similar.
mediadevil is fantastic, 2 screen protector for 9$
Amzer Kristal SP for N5 at Fommy
Well in my past experience with my older phones the major problem I used to face with the screen protectors was their cut out problems they dont have such fine cut outs and due to that it also creates problem at the time of installation and even result into bubbles......but this time I bought this Amzer Kristal Screen protector for my N5 , its a dry application and has very fine cut outs...no problem in the installation and believe me not a single bubble at all...
I am really happy to have it on my N5..it does not make any impact on the screen and its touch sensitivity...so far its working very fine and smooth....I got it from Fommy....for almost $ 7 - SHIPPED...which I would say quite worth one.....so you can just check it out once...may be you like this one because its better to take a good one rather than to go for these cheap ones because of some bucks discounts and all . As SPs can directly effect your screen and nobody likes to take any risk on it for sure...especially when they have their new and fav gadget in their hands .Can't say about all...But I will never.... ....I like this SP and my N5 both......
Thanks

Mime Glass screen protectors

Hi Tyler,
Thank you for reaching out to us about this! Thanks to the voice of the OnePlus One community, we have begun production of a glass screen protector for this device. Although we do not yet have an exact ETA, we expect to have it live and shipping by Mid-August. Hope this helps and thank you for your support!
Best,
MIME
Thanks for the update!
So excited to hear about this!
Love MIME on my Nexus 5. I will get this.
Just checked their website and they had them up and said in stock. I've ordered one. Can't wait to get it!

Wow, $27.95 is a little steep.
For that price I can almost buy two Orzly, which I'm very satisfied with.
I'm a huge fan of Mime Feather glass protectors for my Samsung phones and iPhones - the 0.15mm thickness makes a big difference for phones with physical home buttons.
However for phones with capacitive or OSB, the extra cost of Mime doesn't seem quite worth it - I got the Ozrly protector and it's great at 1/2 the price.
Just got my mime on today, and I must say its amazing. With the curved edges, the phone feels like a nexus 4 screen.

Looking forward to getting one!
I have a Mime on my Nexus 5 and liked it. However when I got the Opo my options for tempered glass were extremely limited so I had to take a chance on wasting $7 dollars and bought a cheapo off eBay. End result.....won't see me waste money on the more expensive ones until I have a reason to give up on these. This $7 dollar protector is holding up every bit as good as my Mime has so far. The only thing I will say I like about the Mime over this one is that mine has the ear speaker slot elongated to allow for the sensor which is dumb considering this is glass. Just my .o2

Orzly Tempered Glass Install + Review

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ww2SPtL0yQ
Thanks guys if this helps or you enjoyed it subscribe/thumbs up!
Got one of these and used the hinge method you describe to fit it after seeing it done on a youtube vid. Nice bit of kit.
Bought one of these. Very easy to apply using the hinge method. Once installed you hardly notice there is a screen protector present!
I screwed up my install ... returning it to get a replacement.
Will use hinge next time.
I installed my Orzly case and tempered glass SP last night, removed them both this morning. As high quality and crystal clear as they can be! But there is no substitute for a naked phone.
My S2/S3/N4/N5/1+1/all lived happily naked. Now my 1+2 will do the same.
6 phones to prove 1 fact, i am a nudist. And i love my bamboo swap style back!

Truely the best screenprotector ever!!!!
Smashed my phone with the screen to the floor.
Screenprotector totally broken. The screen itself: unscratched and no cracks, as it comes out of the box
Would rate this screenprotector 11/10

Can you tell me from where your going to order it.. On Amazon.in Orzly for OPO is available but not for OP2.
Just got one below link, but i don't see any user review of this item on Amazon.in.
http://www.amazon.in/Orzly®-Protect...d=1445838181&sr=1-18&keywords=orzly+oneplus+2
Just got it installed on my OP2 and it works great. First time I'm using a tempered glass protector instead of thin plastic screen protector and it feels much better.
It's easy to install and has a lot of items to help install the product.
Great buy!
Problem is that such glass causes that fingerprint ID looks "bigger" (like from Samsung) and OPT doesnt look as nice as without this protector

I also got this screenprotector and I really like it. However, since last week at a corner a very small piece broke off. I had this earlier too with my OPO. I didn't do anything special with it as far as I know.
