This Rom was built for me, my tastes, and my priorities.
My priorities are, dependability, stability, battery life, speed, and aesthetics.
I realize that not everyone will share these same values in the same manner that I do, in which case there are many other ROMs for the SGS3 that might be a better fit for you, and I suggest you keep trying out different ROMs until you find one that closely fits your needs, and sense of aesthetics. This is not Burger King!
If you're having problems, and you're using a custom kernel, please direct your questions to the thread where you got your custom kernel from.
This ROM is for US users only!

This will be updated as the needs arise.
Q & A
Q: How do I change my Lock Screen Wallpaper?
A: Long press your home screen, click "Set Wallpaper" ... click "Lock Screen"...click "Wallpapers"
Q: I don't see the choice for "Gallery" when trying to set my Lock Screen Wallpaper, where is it?
A: You were a bad boy/girl this year and Santa didn't deliver it! Seriously, there is no other choice besides Wallpaper for your lockscreen on this ROM.
Q: Can I use this ROM with another carrier besides AT&T?
A: As long as it's a carrier in the U.S. and you know how to setup your APN you certainly can!
Q: I can't get Google Wallet to activate, why is that?
A: I actually had to try twice, the first time was on WiFi, and it refused to activate, the second time I tried over a strong 4G signal and it went through, however it does take more than a few minutes to activate.
Q: Where's my stock gallery, I only see the 4.2 gallery?
A: Fix is in Mods/Fixes post, fourth post of this thread (two posts down).
Q: Where's SVoice? I need to talk to my blue tooth, speaking to a phone scares me!
A: Download THIS FILE, and flash in CWM or TWRP
Q: Why doesn't this ROM have the option to reboot into Recovery
A: It does. Pull down your notification bar, slide over to "Reboot", click it and you'll have the choice to boot into Recovery.

01/18/13 - Fixed Gallery with lock screen wallpaper change (see Mods/Fixes next post down)

Is this adding 4.2 camera or 4.2 camera replacing the stock camera and gallery?

I noticed SVoice is removed. I prefer it to the Google solution and the crap My Motospeak with my BT headset.
I know there are dependencies that come with SVoice. I have an SVoice apk, I can flash but it's from an i9300. Do you have the SVoice APK and files from the original ROM by chance?

I'll not answer any more questions that are answered in the OP, or FAQ simply because people are unable, and/or unwilling to read something that I took the time, and effort to type up, I'm sorry

I read it several times but I still am not getting the whole picture. Any 4.2 camera I have installed has the JB AOSP camera and gallery. I see that you have left the stock camera but you say to set the default through the gallery, but is the gallery doubled up as it has been in the past with stock and aosp gallery or just one gallery?

Glad you had a flashable Svoice because google now is broken for modern bluetooth devices. http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=35737 supposedly fixed in 4.2 although it looks like in most any custom 4.2 rom that Blluetooth is borked altogether.....

Yeah I hate having to talk directly to the phone rather than BlueTooth, but SVoice is not anywhere near as accurate, fast, and useful as Google Now, so I put up with it

So if I would not have asked I would have wasted an hour setting this thing up to find out that I was stuck with the 4.2 gallery which is not fully functional with TW so contact photos and wallpaper picking dont work quite right.

Note: It is recommended that you flash SuperWipeG2+ before flashing over the G2 Bliss ROM. This will erase all of your phone's data, which is best to do before flashing a new ROM. The files on your SD Card will not be erased.
Download SuperWipeG2+ (Recommended) and the G2 Bliss ROM below, and place both of the .zip files on the root of your SD Card.
Assuming Clockwork Recovery is already installed, hold the Volume Down button and press the Power button to boot up your phone. Keep the Volume Down button held down until you are greeted with a white screen with skateboarding Androids on the bottom.
Press Volume Down once to highlight "RECOVERY" and press Power.
Once in recovery, use the trackball to hover over "install zip from sdcard". Click with the trackball to select this option.
Select "choose zip from sdcard".
Select "-=SuperWipeG2+=-.zip" and "Yes - Insall -=SuperWipeG2+=-.zip". Let the installation run; once finished, it will automatically reboot into recovery.
Scroll down to "advanced" and click.
Select "Wipe Dalvik Cache" and "Yes - Wipe Dalvik Cache"
Once completed, press the back button to return to the recovery's main menu
Select "install zip from sd card", "choose zip from sd card", "G2_Bliss_v1.0.1.zip", and "Yes - Install G2_Bliss_1.0.1.zip"
Once completed, press back again to return to the main menu
Select "reboot system now"

I'm just happy to be on page one. I will give this ROM a go. I'm at work right now, might as well flash ROM's, XD
how's this compared to cm7 for those who've tried it?
I really want to but really love battery % indicator and trackpad wake
Can wifi-calling not be removed on this rom? I tried uninstalling through titanium and got FCs that just wouldn't quit.
I had that issue with stock Rom. Rebooting fixed the problem for me.

This looks nice and clean. I will defenitely give this a try! thanks

Unfortunately trackpad wake isn't possible with any ROM based off of the G2 Gingerbread builds, because HTC hasn't released the kernel source; it's only been released for the Desire-Z Sense kernels.
As for the battery %, as bombadier said you can always try modding with the online kitchen!

Location and Mail are HTC Sense apps; this ROM is based off the G2's AOSP Gingerbread build so they won't be included, sorry! As for exchange, I'm fairly certain it's possible with the stock "Email" app but I'm not exactly sure, since I've never actually used it myself.

Hm, that's odd; the GPS works fine on my end. Try flashing over the latest radio, and then the efs wipe again. SuperWipeG2+ also contains the guhl's efs wipe in it, if you want to try flashing that and reflashing G2 Bliss. You can find everything here.
Would you mind listing out exactly what has been removed?
Thanks.

The first post has been updated with a list of the removed apps.
Also, I just realized that I accidentally removed the "Calculator" app from the initial release. I've released an update to G2 Bliss, v1.0.1, which is flashable over v1.0, and will add "Calculator" back.

Good practise to run the wipe efs script when changing radios, your flashing ROM's doesn't affect the radio.

Yea after i flashed that radio, i ran wipe efs script.
This rom is amazing. It saved me a lot of time from removing bloatware. I get like over 200MB of free memory.
Plus its rooted and gingerbread.. it cant get any better...
My favorite rom, been using it since day1. Bloat free is the way to be.
Hey guys, quick question to anyone who already flashed this.
Someone said they have about 200+ free of RAM, but I wasn't sure if they meant at boot running ONLY what is already on the phone or with their apps etc.
I know it is different for each case, but with all your usual apps installed and running normally, how much free RAM are you getting? Please also list what type of user you believe you are (heavy gaming, business only, light browser, mega texter)
Thanks to anyone who answers

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone.
For more information about PARANOIDANDROID please check this website
Features :
PAL, First time in Android history that Per-App-Layout has been realized
This rom features a setting called Per-App-Density - PAD. It basically allows you to scale apps, make them bigger or smaller. This is a must for tablet mode since it shrinks your apps considerably, making them useless. you can even scale widgets and framework components like the navigationbar. You can define an apps native DPI with it, make it look stock, smaller or bigger than that, your decision.
All apps are depicted at DPI 182 per standard. No other rom has that feature right now
Google Play does not allow density changes and will stop working if you mess around with that. This rom fixes that problem for you 100%.
More stuff: Recents window closer to stock, fixes for overlapping elements, framework fixes, no crashes, working Phone (looks 100% like stock aswell),Sense 4 Recent Apps too etc.

TUTORIAL
How to change DPI for individual app - Thanks to The Gingerbread Man
You will need;
1 A root level file explorer like root explorer
2 A little patience
To perform the changes
So you need to find out if the app you want to change the dpi level for is either a system or data app, to do this open your file manager and look in system/app or data/app. You need to then long press the app you want and press rename. Then copy the app name by long pressing the text and press copy, dont copy any .apk or -1 at the end of the name.
Then navigate to system folder and look for pad.prop. press the mount rw button then long press open in text editor. So now you need to remember where you found your chosen app, was it system or data? If system long press under then system header or if it was a data app look for the apps header. To paste your app name in the right place find a empty line, long press then paste. You need to add at the start of the line for your app pa.
Nearly there!
So next at the end you need to add .dd= and then your chosen dpi level.
So for example for apex, I have it as a system app and my line in pad.prop for apex looks like
pa.com.anddoes.launcher.dd=221
Then you need to press menu key, then save and exit. Restart your app and it should display how you want

Pad.PROP
pad.prop
BACKUP YOURS BEFORE JUST IN CASE YOU DON'T LIKE MINE!
A personal Pad.Prop setup, that I enjoy the most, when the rom starts up again, goto apex settings turn the sections: margrin size to "None" for both vertical and horizontal, then set your grid to something like 4x4 or 5x4 for both aswell, (the orginal size I believe is 4x4 but I like 5x4, and also I have searchbar locked into the homescreen like on a tablet, I feel this gives ME the perfect mix of tablet/phone.
No need to fix roaming, I was able to write it into the rom.
Mirror as you must, but when you do, let me know in a PM and I'll post them in the thread.
IF you have have any problems I would like to keep them in one place for fixing, try emailing me at [email protected] if you're email illiterate PM me from xda, but I prefer my email.
IF you still have problems with the dialer and all try changing all paranoid android settings to phone or phone stock, I MEAN ALL! And if that doesnt work:
, try downloading another dialer that isnt stock or Go
If you got it working then you can change the DPI settings around just im not sure which ones make the phone brink
Although I believe it is configure which you need to keep Phone(Stock) or tablet (stock)

Thanks I have fixed it now!
I ran into something with the market though a lot of apps aren't showing up. I have reasobto believe its from the density though hopefully can be fixed by tomorrow
I love the tablet UI! Rom booted up fine.
Edit: About phone in the settings causes it to crash.
Thanks, will give it a try.
I am looking into that, I personally am so angry about that. also did either of you two see if market seemed more empty then usual?
That would be nicer if you could put fm radio in the rom!

Yes, that's because the build.prop has this device as "One V", when it should be "HTC One V"

yeah. it is a known PA issue if it is ported on CM9. I've talked with one of the PA's builders, molesarecoming, and he said that if you take the latest PA files and put them onto a JB rom, the market issue will disappear.
If you want to not have market problems, take my pad.prop from the latest build. The status bar is stock but with much smaller dpi and I'm having a lot of apps forced into tablet mode from the start. That's how you will not have issues with the market. If you want to have the status bar down, like a tablet, you will have to: either modify the framework-res dpi when in that mode, or the systemUI, though the framework makes problems to the market.

Thanks, I'm working on it now!
Also If this is true, soon we will have 100% working PA because there is CM10 up and running, hopefully getting alot fixed by jmz I believe. maybe he will let me port PA with his CM10 as base once it is fixed..
your settings is crashing when you press the "About Phone?" can you send me your build.prop in a PM?
maybe i can help you with a fix.

superuser problem
When I try to change the format to stock UI in the paranoid settings it is saying that its not letting it grant super user permission change the outlook framework or any of the dpi settings. In other words root explorer won't work. I love it sure beats sense and the Rosie framework. please help me

The boot img is in the rom, just pull it right out and use the one in the zip, if that doesn't work let me know and I will see about posting it up there, but it should be that one if not I would need JMZ to port his boot.img back up from cm9 before I could, I cannot find it on my computer right now but it might be in one of the older files I have.
also try a wipe of Data, Cache, and system. to make sure that that is not the problem

Try checking your Superuser app, to see if you accidently denied it or if the Superuser app needs updating. If that does not work, try downloading another superuser app from the market and try doing what you were trying to do at the time, the problem occurred. If that does not work please try PMing me with as much info about it that you can, possibly a logcat while you attempt to do what you are trying to do. I will look into it from there.

This ROM is based on AOSP KitKat. I wanted to release something before the holidays, so LucidPhusion was born! This is as close as you're going to get to the G2 experience on KitKat! Most G2 items are present, a few are not, and a few new items have been added. But as with any custom ROM, I aim to make this better than stock, so I think everyone will be pleased...
I have tested as much as possible, above and beyond. However, if someone finds a bug or error, please let me know. DO NOT PM me as others may have the same issue and it is better to answer it once here than a thousand times through PMs.
Please read this OP carefully before posting questions as many answers can be found here. To reiterate, PLEASE READ THIS OP CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS. Other answers may already be in the posts of this thread...
CHANGES
v1.1
-LG G2 Lock Screen added
-LG G2 Weather added
-LG G2 Weather Widget added
-LG G2 Application Manager added
-Changed status bar to hide
-Changed status bar to be transparent
-Status bar can be pulled down during lock screen
-Google Play Store manual update added
-Custom kernel added
v1.0
-All my normal goodies, including GPS, APN, ad blocking, and speed & battery tweaks
-Enhanced sound
-LG G2 QuickRemote
-LG G2 Keyboard
-LG G2 Launcher
-LG G2 apps (most)
-Themed app alternatives
LG CAMERA
The LG camera included is far from perfect, but it will get the job done! There are a couple issues such as front-facing camera, burst mode, and panorama create FC's. It is recommended to install another camera for these features.
The ROM has been set to a different DPI so that the title of some apps are not hidden. However, this makes the LG camera resize its viewing area to be smaller. It does not hinder quality or take smaller pictures, but this can be an annoyance for some. If you wish to reverse this, please check ISSUES & FIXES.
WIRELESS STORAGE
"Wireless Storage" is an actual app, it just doesn't show up anywhere but in the pull-down settings of the stock G2 ROM. I went ahead and found the easiest alternative imaginable called, "WiFi File Transfer".
Open the app and click "Start Service". There will be a FTP address. Do not place this address in a web browser, open up My Computer and type the address into that window. A web browser will only allow downloading (not uploading) from the phone.
NAVBAR TRANSPARENCY ENABLER
If the need for extra real estate is a must, then I've got you covered! Download and flash this file. This ZIP will install an app called "full!screen".
Enable Soft Keys
1) When the phone reboots open "full!screen".
2) The app will look for root, grant root permissions when prompted.
NOTE: It may state that no root is found at first, but about 2-3 minutes later a popup will appear asking to grant root permissions.
3) If the button to enable "full!screen mode" is still grayed out, reboot the phone.
4) Open "full!screen" again, and click the "full!screen mode" button.
5) The native navbar and soft keys are now gone and replaced by two unobtrusive soft keys.
NOTE: If using TWRP, do not flash this with other ZIPs.
Flash this file to delete the "full!sceen" app and enable the native soft keys.
KNOCKON ENABLER
There are two options to have a fuller KnockOn experience:
Lock Screen Widget - KnockOff
1) Download and flash the "Lock Screen Widget".
2a) Open the app.
2b) OPTIONAL: Go into "Lock Icon Options" and configure the app to be invisible and at its largest size. Position it somewhere on the home screen (the center is ideal).
4) Click on the widget to get an activation screen, and confirm.
5) Click the invisible widget to lock the screen.
Lock Screen Widget - ShakeOff
1) Download and flash the "Lock Screen Widget".
2) Open the app.
3) Turn off "Show lock icon".
4) Turn on "Shake lock".
5) Shake the phone for a few seconds to get an activation screen, and confirm.
6) The phone will now lock the screen when shaken.
Flash this file to delete the "Lock Screen Widget" app.
QUESTIONS
Will there be an odexed version?
No.
There's something I want, can you add it?
Maybe. It depends on if I think it will benefit everyone, and how much it adds to the ROM. Post a request.
Will this work with my variant?
No. If you want a port, PM me about it so you can test for me if and when I decide to do so. Requests can also be made for variants in the thread.
Why don't you use an AROMA installer?
I experimented with the newest version, but it is just overly convoluted with menu pages and could be confusing when trying to determine how to actually flash the ROM. I had decent success with an older version, but in both versions, there were times where the installer would not go back to recovery and would cause a boot loop from not installing properly. The old methods are best.
I want such-and-such app, can you put it in the ROM?
Not likely, unless it is a G2 app (that works) I have overlooked.
Is there different keyboards?
No. There is just the LG G2 keyboard.
Can I flash this zip even though my recovery doesn't "lokify" items (e.g. kernels)?
You should be able to flash on any available recovery without issue.
ISSUES & FIXES
After First Boot - I am asked to choose between the Home or Lock Screen launchers after completing the phone setup. What do I do?
Click on "Home" and select "Always".
After First Boot - When I first boot up I get an error message that brings me to Google Play Services in the Play Store. What do I do?
Go to Settings>Apps>ALL and click on Google Account Manager. Uncheck the "Show notifications" box and confirm.
After First Boot *OPTIONAL* - I want to update Google Play Store to the newest release. What do I do?
"Easy Installer" has been installed with the latest ROM (and can be uninstalled). The most recent release of the Google Play Store has been copied to the SD card of the phone. Enable "Unknown sources" under Settings>Security first, then open "Easy Installer" and wait until it finishes loading. Select Google Play Store and click "Install".
After First Boot *WARNING* - I changed some settings for the lock screen and now it just gets stuck on the lock screen. What do I do?
It is recommended to NEVER OPEN the lock screen settings. Once opened it will begin to cause this issue. However, if you really want to change the few settings available, there are two fixes: a) The best option is to wait until the screen turns itself off. Once it does, it will go back to normal. b) For a quick, but temporary fix click the soft key for apps opened and dismiss all.
NOTE: On reboot, the lock screen will get stuck again.
The lock screen is not present. What do I do?
The lock screen may take a second or two to appear.
Some apps do not seem to work properly. What do I do?
Change the date and time. Changing just the timezone should adjust everything else accordingly.
LG SmartWorld gives me a message that my phone model is not supported. What do I do?
Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about this until LG makes the appropriate fixes. It will work for some, and not for others.
I would prefer to have a full viewing screen in the LG camera in exchange for partially hidden titles of some apps. What do I do?
Use the "BuildProp Editor" included in the ROM. Open the app and type "density" into the search bar. Only one value should appear. Change the value to "480" and reboot the phone.
The LG G2 keyboard is in single-hand mode. What do I do?
There is a small keyboard icon on the bottom of the keyboard itself. Press the icon and choose the dual-hand option.
I want to use a different keyboard, but I get a FC after pressing "Open" in the Google Play Store. What do I do?
Go to Settings>Language & input and check the box for the new keyboard, then change the default keyboard to the new one.
I am using the "WiFi File Transfer", but I can't upload any files. What do I do?
Open up My Computer and type the FTP address into that window. A web browser will only allow downloading (not uploading) from the phone.
I used the NAVBAR TRANSPARENCY ENABLER, but on a reboot the soft keys aren't showing. What do I do?
Give the soft keys about 30 seconds and they will show.
APN FIX
This should actually be under ISSUES & FIXES, but I decided it should be more prominent. If there is no mobile data after flashing this ROM perform one of these methods:
Simple Method
Revert to stock ROM (or any custom ROM where mobile data does work).
Download this file and this file.
Extract the contents of "APN2.rar" to a folder on your PC.
Double-click "APN2SD.bat" and follow the instructions. OR, double-click "APN2FOLDER.bat" and follow the instructions.
NOTE: If you clicked the "APN2SD.bat", the "apns-conf.xml" file will be on the SD card of your phone. If you clicked the "APN2FOLDDER.bat", the "apns-conf.xml" file will be in the folder you extracted the contents to.
Use 7z or WinRAR to open the "FlashAPN.zip" (do not extract the contents).
Go to /system/etc/
Place the "apns-conf.xml" file inside the "etc" folder of "FlashAPN.zip".
Put "FlashAPN.zip" on your phone's SD card.
Flash LucidPhusion.
Boot into recovery.
Flash "FlashAPN.zip".
Reboot into the OS.
The correct APN settings should now display.
Manual Method
Revert to stock ROM (or any custom ROM where mobile data does work).
Download and open a file explorer like Root Explorer or ES Explorer.
Go to /system/etc
Copy "apns-conf.xml".
Go to /sdcard/
Paste "apns-conf.xml".
Flash LucidPhusion.
Download a file explorer and open it.
Copy "apns-conf.xml".
Go to /system/etc
Paste "apns-conf.xml" (overwriting the existing file).
Reboot the phone.
Mobile data should now work.
Please also send me a copy of the "apns-conf.xml" via PM so that I can include it in any future updates.
INSTALLATION
1) Do a Factory Reset.
2) Flash the ZIP.
3) Follow the steps for first-time booting in ISSUES & FIXES (including Google Play update!).
OPTIONAL I: Flash the Navbar and/or KnockOn ENABLERs.

No offense but funny why you would assume stock rom better than custom rom? Long time ago people start to develop custom rom and abandon stock rom because custom rom is way better

That is total BS! Till this day the Stock ROM from @g.lewarne and CleanROM XE both with custom kernel from @g.lewarne are by far THE best ROMs considering battery/performance balance and NONE of the custom ROMs has come even near that and I have tried CarbonROM 4.3.1, CM 10.2, CM11, PA 3.99 and PA 4.0. Battery life with those 2 stock baby's is just insane! They are all very nice, stable and perform very good. But stock beats them all for me. And I can't wait for stock 4.4 cause I know it will be my next daily driver.
PS: I do however agree that stock is not the best looking ROM out there. KK is the winner in that category.
Sound Good
Are pop up call and pop up sms features there ? For me this is the best feature from Stock, at least for me , IF not could you please add them
Use file explore. Go back.to another aosp or lg rom, download a apn back up app. Back up apns. Reflash rom. Open file cmfile explorer . Open app apn back up. Hot restore from back up and BOOOOOOM!

Easy fix for issue with unsatisfactory experience with ROM. Bugger off and don't post negative opinions in a development thread. Nothing personal but the amount of time and energy I and many others have spent just trying to help devs much less code myself is unbelievable. We just had a Thanksgiving Holiday, wish people could learn to be thankful. Sorry for the rant.

Cant install any other keyboard (I'm not using the LG one cuz it sucks bigtime for me), Settings FCs.
I miss the option to have a navbar button that pulls down the Statusbar, my thumb aint that long !
Anyway, going back to PAC or Stock. Every ROM that I've tried from you has some kind of errors that make the ROM unuseable for me :/,
I still appreciate your work tho.

you no need to post that, if rom is no good to you simple do'nt use, for me stock is like trash.
matheus_sc, your post is completely useless.
I found a bug and made a suggestion. In addition, you got a piece of my mind concerning the ROM.
If you dont like what I wrote, then just back off.
If I didnt have any bugs to report or to suggest a feature, I wouldnt have posted at all.
Anyway, I will keep watching this ROM for bugfixex/additional features, because I like the general idea.
Keep up the good work, Heatshiver!

[ROM][4.4.2 TW] Community Rom

Okay lets get this out of the way now. You need to post what release you are on when you report issues. There are many different releases and I cant/wont help you if you dont give me the information I need to help you.
FYI: I will not add native hotspot hack. There is a published mod on how to do it yourself. The reason why is below.
Sprint says if you want to tether then you must pay an additional fee for it. It is in your sprint contract if you want to look it up. Almost all mobile providers do this.
Read this which is what you agreeded to by getting service from Sprint.
https://manage.sprintpcs.com/output/en_US/manage/MyPhoneandPlan/ChangePlans/popLegalTermsPrivacy.htm
Now they may not file charges and just terminate your service. It is in there power and right to file legal charges if they want to.
For users with power off charging issue!
You will need to upgrade your bootloader to NE2 for the power off charging to work. This will also give you a tripped Knox counter in download mode and void your warranty but if you flashed this or any other rom that you have already voided you warranty.
Another simple OP for now.
What is Community Rom. Well it is my own personal project that will take any and all help from our L900 users. I have started with the stock NE2 rom and will slowly evolve it into a S5/N3 rom. It will have all kinds of fixes, mods, tweaks, and themes from anyone who want to help.
Where the rom is right now.
Well the first Alpha release is basic. Pure stock NE2 except for the S5 systemUI.apk and root. I even forgot to remove KNOX in the first alpha. The stock samsung kb is giving constant FC's. Just push through the setup and then change to swipe kb (preinstalled) or whichever keyboard you like (the LG Keyboards do not work).
Please use Philz 6.07.9 recovery...
http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/l900
Flashing Instructions
1. Download rom and verify MD5sum
2. Place rom on phone (if not already)
3. Backup anything you need/want that is in your internal sdcard
3. Backup current rom
4. Factory reset/Format for new rom
5. Under mounts choose format /data /data/media (this is your internal sdcard)
6. Reboot into recovery
7. Flash rom and reboot
The first boot will take a long time so please wait. Also the phone will be a little sluggish for awhile (it has to setup itself).
If you have not taken the 4.3 or 4.4.2 OTA/ODIN and not flashed the wifi fix you will need to do so to be able to use wifi. This file must be flashed via Pc and Odin only. It will not work with mobile Odin.

I like when people are straight-forward and to the point. Sorry if anyone feels I don't have a sufficiently lackadaisical attitude. Since OP called it a "community ROM", I assumed that the community was free to provide feedback or help in development. Take note of key phrases like "Things that I think should be added" and "All in all, great ROM". Any discontentment was clearly directed towards Sprint & Samsung. I simply don't understand why they choose to include "features" without giving users the power to turn them off.
I personally don't use SFinder because it does a lot of background scanning when installed. Quick connect is nice but a whole lot slower than simply plugging in a USB. With that in mind, I've attached a flashable zip that should remove those extra buttons for those who don't want them and fixes the WiFi icon. It seems to work; let me know if anything is wonky.

Charging power off fix and screen mirroring fix both will work on any ne2 rom (mine or anyone elses)
Note: custom kernels may also cause this issue even with the fix

Systemui.apk with modified (correct 4g icon)
tx_dbs_tx said:
As most of you already know the 4G icon in community 1.1 beta has a minor flaw which has the 4G icon overlapping the data flow arrows. So I fixed the 4G icon inside the SystemUI.apk and made a flashable zip for people who want to get the stock 4G icon back. I also changed the color of the up/down data flow arrows for easier viewing. They are green and orange like the old style icons. I used the Community 1.1 SystemUI so this is tested and good to go for this ROM. It will likely work on other similar ROMs but I can't be sure that it won't break anything so do so using your own judgement..

How to check MD5
Use Es file explorer find your file and long press it. Now you will see a check beside the file. Press the more option on bottom bar and choose properties. On the popup window press show check sum and check the box for md5. Then press calculate. This should match the MD5 listed in the OP under your versions download link.
I will post set by step pictures later.
Aroma File Manager
Okay guys here is the meat for your philz recovery. Unzip the this and place in your clockwork folder on your external sdcard. It will work on your internal but if you wipe internal (like you should every flash) you will lose it. Once you place it there boot into recovery and double tap a blank part of the screen.
There is one tiny issue with this. Every so often when changing directories it will kind of hang. Dont worry if you see this just touch the screen and it will work.
I will put this on android file host later.

Guess I would say this one. Only thing not working is samsung KB. If you can go without wifi or MMS then I would suggest S5-FEAT. I will be updating this tomorrow sometime hopefully. Giving it a quick once over with S5 apps and a few special things TBA.

Yes wifi works here. On both roms some users have reported a sim issue which I did get a couple of time. I then went to a different modem (ljc) and have yet to see it in the past 2 days.

Most likely the modem that works best for a person will depend on his/her area as well as coverage. You'll have to figure out on your own which modem works and performs best for you.

I'm in....I better get another N2 cause this one is gonna burn up real soon. No issue here yet with the sim message and I have NE2 modem flashed now.
Community Alpha 2 is going up shortly. It will stay in alpha stage till I get the N3 features ported over. Enjoy and check out change log.

You think the n3 features will be a flashable zip too? Still on beta 2.3 and seems solid. Had a few hiccups today but a reboot fixed it.

You are on S5-FEAT beta 2.3 which is a different rom from this one. You already have the N3 features on that rom. If you dont mind would you post the hiccups you had on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785075 please?

Yeah, I was thinking of switching over to this rom then adding the n3 features.
Only issue I had was in contacts. Wasn't showing them, then closing out. After I rebooted I also wiped cache and all seemed OK. Will try to replicate it and pay more attention then post in the thread provided.

I don't know if you already know or if I've flashed the updated rom wrong but I found your Alpha-2 download. I flashed it but can't get past the setup. the touchwiz homescreen fcs when you hit finish. I'm going to try dirty flashing over Alpha-1 and see if that helps any.

Working great, thanks a lot for your works.
Is there a way to make icons & fonts smaller?
I have noticed that there is no notifier for any unread email/text message, how to enable it or is it missing in this ROM?
Thanks again

I'm using V2 (love it as it's only 1.2GB in size vs. 2GB)
Yes, there is notification on the top bar, what I mean is the number of message counts that display on the icons (if you have 4 unread email then #4 will show up at the corner of icon)
Waiting for your works on making icons/fonts smaller.
Thanks again.
