I couldn't get it to work, I typed 2 for the second option but it was stuck at WAITING FOR DEVICE.
Can I just copy all the modified apks and just replace them using ES File Explorer??

Really Like this Mod leather.face! Just what I was after!
Although I get the same problem as Robsen87, and clicking the clock widget does nothing now, used to take me to the alarm settings...
Just found that restoring 'stock' icons removed all my accounts :S

Hi, you hang on in the message, Waiting for device? Sorry but you have not a Insecure binary and in the adbd app you must set two hooks. You must also install the samsung usb driver on your PC. I work on my device with all my batchscripts and I have not a problem. You have a problem or question sure then post here. Have a nice Sunday.

Hi, I open now my camera app and I have not a bug. I have the 4.1.2 rom by infected_ on my device and all is good. I have not a problem with my theme and I see on your screenshot not the problem. Sorry. When you have a problem then please detail. Thanks.

Well, just to let you know, check my post about the cam please. It clearly is a bug of your theme.
I replaced your samsungcamera.apk with the original one an all is working fine.
I flashed the rom again and than used your script for the theme, i got the same problem.
Afterwards i made a new flashed and installed you theme manually (not using the script) and leaved away the samsungcamera.apk.
All is fine now a i do have your them working

Hi, no problem. I mean this not angry to you or other users here but I`m run the official firmware with all my tweaks and this theme. I found not a bug in the last 3 days and I run also not with Samsung Kies. I install only the usb driver and for me all is good. I have also only a S3 mini at the moment I can`t flash two firmwares. Now I make my v2 script finished and then the other tasks. thanks for all understanding.

Hi, all the problems in this thread is not a bug in my theme. This is a little bug in the batchscript for the rom by faria. This batchscript set not the proper permissions for the apk files. I have now tested Samsung Kies on my PC and this works. Also tested the camera app and the clock app. All works and I fix the batchscript for the faria rom.
You can`t wait for the fix? Sure you can also replaced the apk files from the batchscript and set the proper permissions manually.

1)how to install
just grab the latest version(or any version according to your needs and install)(latest version is more preffered).no need of any base theme or something like that.

no at all.every update is a complete theme.no need of any basic theme or something like that.

they are three .apk files and nothing else.low battery drainer gallery,landscape enabled touchwiz launcher,and normal and default samsung dialler.
as far as my recommendation is concerned.you dont need them.i have tried to include the best possible .apk in the theme package only.
cases in which they need to be installed:-
*i want landscape ability in my tw launcher.
download touchwiz30launcher.apk and place it in system\app folder in your phone.
*theme contains beautifull black dialler but i still find it ugly.i wana go back to default one
download dialertabactivity.apk and place it in system\app folder in your phone
*gallery you have included is battery drainer.
download gallery3D.apk and place it in your system\app folder.
4)I am not liking miui icons.how to get galaxy tab icons?
just download basic theme from below.open it through winrar.go to system->app->extract out touchwiz30launcher.apk from it and put it in your system\app folder in your phone using root explorer.
5)i want transparent app drawer in tw launcher and i want landscape mode in my tw launcher
ohk no probs.a touchwiz30launcher.apk has been attached as a launcher.download it and place it your system\app in your phone.thats it.

2)flat black notification bar with black transparent pulldown

How to replace apk
download apk and place it in your sd->go to sgs tools and choose mount system as rw and then close it->copy .apk file to system\app using root explorer and you are done..

note 1:-yaa android marketing downloading issue has been solved but still bluetooth sending/recieving text is black and samsung apps downloading text is black..this can be solved by editing xml file in these apps(only guess )....i hope in future with little more knowledge of xml i will do that...or some other developer will do that...otherwise status bar has to changed a bit to that black is visible.

dude i guess this will work on jpx rom also...since they share the same base....i dont hv jpx now(heard it has some battery issue)....by the way it would be great if somebdoy just check it on jpx..it will work..... ...and if it doesnt i will make one for jpx also....have nandroid or another working theme on hand....thanks

alright, down to business. porting has gone extremely smoothly thus far. i've kept almost everything (i know, some probably just sighed a little here) but i have only changed very very few things. example... the message slider tab is currently green. i will be changing this to blue to better suit the theme. *please note, this is not an "all blue" theme. there are some hints of green, as well as other colors, here and there.
currently Antonda has 3 releases. at this point, i'm only concentrating on one at a time. i may only do one, we'll see. i've started with the JVP new release, but i'm going to go back to just JVP because i like the status bar a little better.
Universal theme *should* work with ALL deodexed TW ROMs, no matter what release version KI4 (and all 2.3.4)
i'm no longer supporting the Universal theme. there are just too many issues with it. it doesn't work for everything like it should. i'm leaving the link up but flash at your own risk

Mms.apk was released pretty much how i had it. if anyone would like to lend a hand there regarding the background being changed to black, please feel free to.
oh, and the ClockPackage.apk changes were just for the tabs. i'm also aware that the other colors within the clock aren't blue... that's because the stock ROM of the SGS1 had blue. may theme this later anyway...

i have added blue toggles as a zip file (do not flash!) for anyone that wants them. to apply, simply copy the included png image files over to your SystemUI.apk in res\drawable-hdpi using 7zip or something similar. then copy SystemUI.apk back to your system/apps folder with root explorer or something similar. change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot.

my system font being used is the Sony Sketch font. but 3G icon font face, and others, is a font called Bauhaus. it will be included and installed when you flash. will overwrite your Clockopia, DroidSans, and DroidSans-Bold fonts to make them all Bauhaus.

it really doesn't matter which you install first. i'm not including the EDT app. i'm just making sure my SystemUI.apk is compatible with it so if a user wants to use it, they have that option.

good question.
edit: this has changed a bit. battery variation release numbers should almost always match theme release number, ie 1.3.1 to 1.3.1. there are certain instances where you'll see the theme bumped up one but the battery variation release staying the same. this is because something changed within the main theme that had nothing to do with SystemUI.apk or framework-res.apk which is re-flashed when you flash one of the battery themed mods.

nooo! haha i just saw this. that's amazing! i'm actually still tweaking the SystemUI for some changes that i think look better. i see the source files at the github but i don't see anything about SystemUI or smali changes so i may need to get with you a little later so i know what needs to be changed. thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Sure mate! I ported it to VR2.4 so i have smali changes ready to go.
There isn't much of them, but had to scrats my head few times..
I was thinkin of porting next those lockscreens.. there is much more work those. Will see do I ever complite that

i would seriously need your help with the lockscreens. i've never messed with anything quite like that before. looks like there were lots of .jar file edits and the addition of xml/png files all over the place.

i was modeling it after the Android here.
as you can see, that dark blue isn't the only blue within the theme. i thought a darker blue for a tab would look tacky. guess i could do it just to show you...
also please keep in mind that the blue tab was green in the original theme
Thought i'd pay something back for all i've learned here on xda-developers (something simple, i'm still learning ). So here are some transparent lockscreens for various roms. The lockscreens are completely transparent (10% opacity) except for the clock and the charging indicator. The files below are for unmodded / unthemed roms. If you want one for your theme, or one not in the list below, let me know.
Thanks to Lg_X_Modderer for pointing me in the right direction about how to make the lockscreen transparent. Thanks to everyone else who explained how to edit apk's and make flashable zip's etc.
Install through CMW from recovery.
If you previously have set a lockscreen wallpaper through the gallery, remove the file from /data/data/com.cooliris.media/files (with for example root-explorer).
Use at own risk, do a nandroid backup before flashing.

If you want to do it yourself, here's how:
I use notepad++ for editing, but any editor will work. Use apkmanager to decompile / compile framework-res.apk.
Edit res/layout/keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml.
In line 2 replace android:background="@color/background_dark" with android:background="@drawable/default_wallpaper".
In line 5 replace android:background="#30000000" with android:background="@color/transparent".
In line 12 replace android:layout_marginBottom="80.0dip" to android:layout_marginBottom="0.0dip".
Edit res/layout/zzz_keyguard_screen_lockscreenwallpaper.xml.
In line 2 replace android:background="#ff000000" with android:background="@color/transparent".
In res/drawable-hdpi:
Replace default_wallpaper.jpg with default_wallpaper.png. Replace zzzzzzzz_default_lockscreenw.jpg with transparent zzzzzzzz_default_lockscreenw.png (can be any png size 480x800).

Well, according to this post, that didn't work. So i made changes to the framework-res.apk following Lg_X_Modderer's instructions and made the flashable zip's.
Well this is exactly what ive been wanting for my clear glass theme.

Forgot to ask, is this for a odexed or deodexed rom? I'll include instructons when i return the file. Also got this when i decompiled your framework-res.apk: "Cant find 9patch chunk in file: "drawable-hdpi/status_bar_item_background_pressed.9.png". Renaming it to *.png". This needs fixing.
Oh im just fixing that file now. must have slipped by.
Villain 2.4.2 is deodexed i believe. Ill just check.
Im going to upload the fixed framework in a min.
Edit : ok .9png fixed. i just tested, decompiles fine.
And its Deodexed.

Boot into ClockworkMod; turn off phone hold volume up, home button and power button untill it shows the Galaxy S II splash screen. Then do the following:
Install Zip from SD Card -> Choose Zip from SD Card -> Browse to the download zip -> Apply and Confirm.

Boot recovery (volume up + home + power). Choose "install zip from sd". Select the zip you downloaded. Select yes. Reboot.

Every wallpaper you set using the gallery will have a black background. Haven't found a way to do that yet.

As far as i know every rom without transparent lockscreen support will display a black background that way. Atleast it does on lite'ning 6.1 (which i'm using right now).
ok cool. only problem im having is that it keeps my current lockscreen wallpaper and doesnt revert to the framework one. how do I put it back to the default one?
Browse to /data/data/com.cooliris.media/files and delete or move the current wallpaper file. (Atleast that works for me)

How-To Install:
- You must have a Kernel with CWM2 or 3 (e.g. CF-Root, SpeedMod or Semaphore)
- Go to Settings -> Display -> Animation and make sure it is set to "All animations"
- Choose the right .zip
- Copy .zip to your SD-Card
- Reboot in Recovery
- CHOOSE: install zip from sdcard
- CHOOSE: choose zip from sdcard
- Choose the .zip file from your scard
- CHOOSE: Yes - Install .... .zip

Yeah, i like it. Only two things bothering me:
1) "swipe screen to unlock" text - totally unnecessary
2) date shown as Di.. 17 Jan.. - Di, 17. Jan would be nicer IMO. At least removing the 2nd "." would be nice.
Any chance we could see this implemented? I know there is a modified framework-res.apk provided in this thread:

great idea! Delete the text should be very easy and with the date format I first have to look where it is managed.. But I will take a look at this when I have the time to!
Anybody other good ideas? What are youre meanings to the new lockscreen?
I think the new Lock is better than the old glas (Puzzle) one.
But I prefer the MiUi Lockscreen. Maybe you can add it additionally?

Red! Theme
this is a beta and it does NOT contain the settings app, so you have to flash that individually.

flash white settings first, doesn't really matter which one but i recommend to use the grayscaled version (unless you have any of them already flashed), then flash the Red! theme. it's important to flash Red! last, since with the other mods, you overwrite the framework and you lose the red theme.
If you are on odexed rom and haven't used any mods for Settings.apk & SystemUI.apk, then make sure the delete the .odex files for these two apps from system\priv-app folder!

If you have used apktool go in "res/xml/settings _ headers.xml" to find out what icon uses, but I think it's this icon because there aren't others printing icons

hi i'm having problems with my default settings app.
i just have rooted my nexus 4 and changed the default font and i forgot to creat a backup...and now i can't open the Settings.
with this mod the settings app will be fixed?what do u think?and what program should i use to move the folder to the system?

i tried to change the add account image in the xml, but doesn't seem to have effect for some reason - i can't understand though why, the png is there and it did change for the first time :S if i change the png, i'm afraid, i'll screw up something else...
for the bins on the home settings, i'll look into it, didn't check that before, sorry
ps: i guess i figured what the problem is: whenever i change the settings_header.xml, it seems, it doesn't change when i recompile the apk and therefore those 2 icons are not getting changed, even though i do the edit. :S strange.

hi,
i used root explorer to move it around but if you have recovery, i suggest to flash the newer version.
if you changed the font, i don't think, this will have any effect on that. you might have to wipe dalvik & cache.

i just decompiled the apk and it's there now but it still doesn't change in the apk itself. i guess then it might be smali.
for the add account icon, this is what i change:

Unfortunately not working with Purity ROM I've been looking for such mod for a long time but don't want to change rom.
When I extract the settings.apk to system/priv-app settings won't open... It just happens nothing. When I flash the flashable zip via CWM I get a bootloop. What a shame... I really like this mod!

Sorry, forgot to mention... Permissions set and rebooted as well!
After replacing the backed up settings.apk the Problem remained. Fixed it with reflashing the rom. Weird...
