Cm 10 boot animation - Galaxy S III Mini Themes and Apps

Hi folks,
so i have created boot animation enabler for our device
1.)Download CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip, CWM_CustomBootanimation_Disable.zip and bootanimation.zip and place them at your internal sdcard.
2.)Boot into CWM and Flash CWM_CustomBootanimation_Enable.zip
3.)Reboot system and open file manager with root acess such as root explorer
4.)Move bootanimation.zip to data/local and reboot
5.) Enjoy
Hit THANKS if this helps

flashed enabler through stock recovery but got "signature verification failed error". any idea how it can be fixed?
btw, zip file had to be placed on extsd, not intsd.

put in int sd and flash

(Q) how to change boot animation..

Guys!!how can i change my boot animation..I have tried romtoolbox but it did not change it when i clicked install...
Sent from my GT-I8150 using XDA
Try renaming downloaded bootanime to sanim.zip then put it in system/media using root explorer if using a custom rom. Back up your old one just in case.
Do you still have the root acess to your phone?
When i Lost my root acess i unable to change the boot animation via Toolbox like you mentioned.
After update my root acess and upgrade the toolbox this work good until now

1st, What ROM are u using?
U can change boot animation but need to make a few modification to /system first.
Follow this post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25342300&postcount=3
After u modded this, u can use ROMtoolbox to download and change boot animation by setting the install location as /system/media/sanim.zip

Cm10 , how do you install the latest for cm10

Lior is helping Simon with the Rom but I'm a total newbie to one v but I would like to know but step how to flash the Rom and push the Cvs file

Where in here is wiping cache, dalvik, and system and factory reset? Are er to assume those are assumed? No. They must be mentioned. Don't set people up for failure.

Cant reboot into custom recovery!

I rooted my phone by odin method . Flashing clockwork mod recovery over stock recovery . And somehow I was able to install Superuser.
But now when I try to reboot in recovery it takes me to stock recovery mode not custom recovery.
I tried both recovery and they work for a while and after some time they dont.
Why is this happening ?
Su is working fine and I m on UVLH2 .
Thanks in advance

Since you already have superuser. Why not install via Rom manager or install twrp
Recovery doesn't stick for some weird reason when flashing through Odin on that firmware

Battery pulls are unnecessary. Delete or rename these.
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh
Reinstall recovery with rom or goo manager and reboot recovery.

Thats weird...so you can reboot into custom recovery a few times and eventually it goes back to stock? Or can you only boot custom once then it reverts?
First, look for these files and if there, delete or rename them.
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh
Then reinstall recovery and see if it works now.
If theyre not there, good!....well maybe!
Have you tried any other method of installing recovery?
Try using my favorite tool, Mobile Odin.
Free lite version here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
(Dont forget to download the flash kernel further down the page)
Or buy full version on play store.
Download twrp here:
http://d-h.st/pNQ
Rename to recovery.img
Open Mobile Odin and tap Recovery and select that file.
Do not wipe.
Tap and confirm Flash Firmware.
Let me know how that goes.

I'm going to upload it for you.
Here it is: openrecovery-twrp-2.3.3.0-ancora.img
Complete set of images can be found here: http://goo.im/devs/OpenRecovery/ancora
Easiest way to flash an .img file:
Download it and put it somewhere easy to find, let's say, /mnt/sdcard/Recoveries
Get Recovery Flashing Assistant and edit the script to point to the above directory
Run the Recovery Flashing Assistant script
You'll have TWRP safely flashed onto your W, and you'll also get a backup of your current recovery in the directory in step #1.

have you tried a twrp recovery img? have you tried the toolkit for qualcomm 7.5.1 by skipsoft? you can also use a root file explorer to "mount the system folder as r/w. Rename the files /system/recovery-from-boot.p and /system/etc/install-recovery.sh (Requires Root). Now when you flash you will NOT be overwritten after a reboot." (Skippen, M.,"SkipSoft", 2012). You should really try that out. it will solve a lot of your issues. Mark did an excellent job at this toolkit and i higher eurg and recommend you donate to his kit. especially if it works and fixes your phone!
