It runs pretty good!
I need to wrap up Aroma but Aroma just doesnt look right on this Tablet
Overall though its pretty snappy!

Nice to see another developer jumping over to this device. The more the merrier. Any chance this ROM has true tablet UI as an option? Just curious.

Like the ROM a lot! Nice and smooth!
Couple of things..
Any chance you could add the advanced quick settings menu and the keyboard with numbers underlayed on the top row?

Congratulations
I'm a fan of your ROM in N7.
WHy is it Lite edition? is there another edition?

Dreams really do come true!

I always start off with Lite Edition... Of every ROM I do...
Then I build up to a full Aroma stack like on my N7 and the other 500 android devices I have the pleasure of dev'ing for :good:
I like to check a basic install so we are all on the same page. Then if a bug comes up I know that there is little variance in install tequniuqe.

Not you again.
Lol who reported me for that. I actually have no problem with scrosler and I've been using his ROMs since windows mobile and ppcgeeks. I was saying not you again BC this guy has made a rom for every phone and tablet imaginable since most of your favorite devs were using flip phones.
Anyways keep up the good work and I'll keep enjoying your clean ROMs.

YOu can make ROMS without learning the "make" command. This is the stock ROM reverse engineered. Takes less time than AOSP and is the most stable :highfive:

Im sure some one can but I really think that may be a bit excessive. Its a stock based ROM, with minimal Google apps, that has been tweaked and tuned to leverage the true hardware capabilities of the devices. Its very Clean, fast and stable. No themes on the ROM at all. I also added an extended power menu to that allows to reboot and reboot to recovery. No other visual changes except the speed

Its pretty silly to think those screen shots are from a phone. The aspect ratio is a dead giveaway that its from a tablet. Team EOS makes their ROM multi-platform, and as far as: know this is their first release for a phone. I've been using a rom of theirs in one form or another since I got my Xoom. Really top notch stuff.
BRD and gang: Great to have this ROM on the GNex. Great to have devs that write their own code from scratch and not borrow features from the community too. Originality FTW!
Maybe we'll have you guys back on the show again soon as well!

[ROM][JRO03C stock] TricksterRemixed [2012-07-29]

Bored and annoyed as there was no original stock ROM that is good enough, I made a new JellyBean stock based ROM from these ingredients:
- JRO03C google yakju image
- Deodexed with xUltimate
- chainfire's SuperSU and su
- stericson's busybox
- imoseyon's leanKernel 4.2.0 stable
- Louder speaker output by using patched audio.primary.tuna.so by Peter Alfonso
- Modded SystemUI with battery percentage and Lock button in Notification panel (based on phone_user's works for bugless beast)
- Enhanced power menu by xIC-MACIx
- And last but not least an unreleased version (as of today) of Trickster MOD app
This ROM is likely an one-shot, until there's a new base from GG. I'm pretty sure there is no bug.

Other notes: Every time you install a kernel that includes ramdisk (boot.img format like leanKernel or Franco). Please apply this CWM zip after the kernel if you want to continue using Trickster MOD app.
Disclaimer: This ROM is simply a modded stock ROM I'm using, nothing fancy, some might like it this way, some might not. In any case, If you use it, I won't be responsible for anything that might happen to your phone.

I have a personal question to the author.
How do you to open Data and Wifi connection? This is my main "difficulty" if i use as a daily driver a pure Asop rom like yours which I am downloading now.
I prefer data and wifi toggles from cm10 anyday. Just wondering...
Really like your trickster app. Thnx

I dont know what the author does but personally I use Notification Toggles..
I prefer it even over any of the toggles I've seen built into the CM or AKOP roms.. the one killer feature to me is the ability to have a toggle that takes be directly yo the screen that shows the available access points without having to go into settings to connect to one I haven't already. After using it for just a couple of days I can't live without it.
I'm getting some battery drain.
It's only me?

I am as well. Using BetterBatteryStats, it seems like Maps is causing the drain. I froze it with TB to see if the drain stops.
Edit: Looks like it is something else. "*backup*" was the process that appeared to be causing some partial wakelocks. Disabled Google backup and the battery is still draining. Will have to let my phone sit for awhile and get a good dump from BetterBatteryStat.

INFORMATION ON NEXUS EVOLUTION
Nexus Evolution is built off of AOSP now. Did this because I wanted to start the framework all from stock and put what I personally wanted into the rom from the start. Vendor folder is based off of the developers from EVERVOL. I did this because I liked the way they had there set up and the scripts and I was somewhat a noob so to be honest I was lazy and lacked the time to do it at times. Rom is very fast and responsive and somewhat light which the goal I'm heading towards. I hope you enjoy!!!

INFORMATION ON ME & NEXUS EVOLUTION
Now I am not a full time developer. I am a wanna be developer learning android more and more every day.I have been trying to learn it since the og droid days. Started off theming for a long time then decided to finally step it up a notch. I am not a pro at github and I am still learning it just like I am with building a rom. You can see this as I deleted my FRAMEWORK_BASE a dozen times because of me having to do pull requests and this was messing up my source on my desktop. I do this as a hobby and am learning all this on my own. I didn't go to school for development.

After using the ROM for a few I've got to say its pretty smooth and fluid. One thing though, Google now execution is a tad slower .. I use it a lot so its noticeable. Might want to look it up there. Speedy GPS lock, camera works great.

Nice rom, with just the right amount of mods, not too overly crowded, works great with the #283 Air Kernel. Could'nt make the start-up tweaks to stick though, had some missing init.d files...so I just copied pasted some files over from a similar rom, works ok now.
Really a greate ROM!!! Fast, smooth and very good battery life.. Thanks to developer!!!!

Its the ones that doesn't say "only Toro"
The one for maguro is the first one in the current list...... DarkHorse Revolution 2.1 (Evolution 2.1.1 Only!!!!!)
The second one in the list is the DarkHorse Apps, you would want to flash those as well to complete the look of the theme.
I got it to work. When I did the download yesterday and again last night the latest version listed as 2.1 actually downloaded 2.0 (maybe he hadn't uploaded 2.1 yet) which didn't match up. This morning the latest listed download 2.1 did in fact download as 2.1, the Gapps also went from V1 to V2. After downloading these everything went smooth. Looks awesome and I can't wait to take it fro a ride. Thanks for all your help.

0.3 version based on LG8 has been available via Goo Manager or my website for a little bit now. But I just got the dreaded update notification yesterday morning, so I ported it over to LI3! I'm just trying to incorporate one more mod before I post version 1.0 officially here.

One thing I don't appreciate about new phones... the increasing rom size! The next version out I will be working to trim as much fat as I can. Previous devices I worked on yielded roms >200 mb. These Galaxy SIII ones take 3 times as much space, 3 times as long to build, and 4 times as long to upload! 14 minutes in 5 minutes to go until it's online.
If you use Goo manager, it should show up under compatible roms shortly after it's online. I'm always trying to improve how I share my work.

I haven't messed with Jellybean yet... I'm curious how much harder it will be to port my work into it. I guess we'll see! :good:.
UPDATE: Version 1.0 is online. Download links are provided on my website. For a couple of reasons. The primary one is that it makes it easier for me to switch out the links on a moments notice since I will be hosting this same thread on other Android sites. But also, it makes sure that you read through [future] directions and important notices as you scroll down to the download links. For convenience, the QR tags posted in the OP are active download links.
Dam I sit on here all morning and I still didnt make the first page non the less gonna flash away thanks op
Glad to see RK development on the s3. I've been waiting for this since I broke my epic.

I'll throw in my HP Touchpad with my Epic for a clean $450.
Then I can buy myself a better designed, more up to date tablet with a decent battery life. :victory:
Maybe the Galaxy Note 10.1... not happy with a resolution on a screen twice the size that matches my phone though.
Good to see another OG Epic dev here. You did great work with the Epic, I'm sure you won't disappoint here either.
EDIT: Just wait for the Samsung Nexus 10 tab

Unfortunately I only own the tf300t model and it would be beyond my skill level to setup an RIL without owning a TF300TG. it should work for your model but there would be no 3g support
CleanROM with kernel for (G) model works fine. Maybe I could just look for the proper libs/system parts, and by adding them to this Rom and flashing (G) kernel after it may work. Just asking for opinion from the dev, how do you think, will it work that way?
Thank you.
Got the answer. It is impossible.
Thank you one more time.

Nope. Much more to it than just libs.
I'd like someone to tell me why paranoid android on a tablet... I get the reasons why you want it on a phone. Not being an ass I just don't see the light, please show me

I like PA simply for the level of customization available. I'm not one to theme etc, but the visual options become very attractive once you've experienced them (i was skeptical, and wrong). that being said, haven't taken this version for a whirl yet, just hopped on cm10.1. once all settles, i will likely come home to PA

Always asked myself the same question.
Sent from The Beast using Tapatalk 2
This is not the question for me as I love the features like per-app DPI, per-App status bar, this PA colours for Navbar and so on - only thing I don't like is that I don't get many updates (especially in kernel as ROM doesn't seem to have many bugs)
Do we have TabletUI available on this ROM?

well the lack of updates is due to the recent project that the lead developers have taken on, (AOSPA) which is closed source. once paranoid 3.0 is open source, development will be up and running in full force. and to answer the other question, yes tablet UI is available with this ROM.
Mirror? DL link is giving me fits.

Dirty flash over CM10.1 is possible yes, if you have any problems just wipe, make sure to make a backup just in case! also, as I am not privy to the source as of now, I do not know how far along they are, so no eta from me sorry!
Also, new mirror is up, I got too much traffic on my dropbox account so I switched to google drive for now(hopefully goo.im approves my application soon!)
Is the tablet mode on this, exactly like 4.1 Jellybean or does it have any 4.2 UI elements left in?
4.2 elements

Does this rom support the dock's battery? CM10.1 doesn't have support for this yet, wondering if PA does.....
Pretty sure it does
