Hello everyone and welcome to my very first ROM thread! This is Rootbox, Compiled from source! This is really just a preview as i will eventually be adding some cherry picks and other additions that will set my ROM apart from others. One of the main things that will set mine apart from others currently is i will post nightlies daily.

Boot into CWM/TWRP

I am currently Running this rom with no problems at all. If you happen to run across any problems leave a comment. Be a good person and don't flood this thread with ETA requests and other useless nonsense. As always abide by the XDA Forum Rules and Guidelines, If you don't like the ROM, Don't use it, simple as that.
REMINDER: This ROM only works on AT&T GSIII's. If you get it running on another carrier that's great but if you have bugs you'll have to fix them yourself.

Alright re-upping in an hour or so, I know what's wrong. I tried messing with the updater script and I must have screwed it up somewhere along the line. By messing with I just mean I wanted it to say like, welcome to root box blah blah blah. Must've forgotten a semicolon or something along the lines.

Noobish question - but Ive never done nightlies. What is the procedure for flashing nightlies over the Rootbox ROM if I am already running it? Any wiping? Any backing up needed?

Will this ROM continue?
In all honesty, it depends on Xiaomi. After my little rage (along with other fansites), Xiaomi started using week after week for bug fixes and publishing some changes and reverting others. They un-did there locale hack and apparently MIUI v5 will have some "MIUI SDK", which what that is, I have no clue. I manage like 10 ports at MIUIAndroid now and trying to pass off my duties so I may work full time on Apktool. If a new ROM doesn't come, I'm sure a Staff Member at MIUIAndroid can take my port onwards. (seeing as I document all my changes on Github), it would be very easy.
How do I flash?

General rule of thumb. If on
-Stock, CM, AOKP, AOSP. You must do full wipe. That includes going to "format /system" in recovery. Then flash the ROM.
-If on MIUI. Dalvik & Cache wipe should suffice. If not, do above ^
-First boot will take 1-3 minutes. (As its dex/opting, but it doesn't have the animation of dex/opting loaded, so it sits at MI Logo)

Must flash GApps to fix Face Unlock.
CM Gallery & MIUIGallery ( 2 Gallery APKs )
Google Voice FCs. (MIUI Problem. Working on getting fixed upstream)

It's a ota package, sometimes md5 itself can go wrong, but no worries, i'll fix that in the next builds.

Have you got the Qualcomm version or the Exynos version... If you've got the i9500 (Exynos-Octacore) thats why its not working as this is for the i9505 (Qualcomm)... The only reason I've asked is your sig which says you've got the Exynos version

I've just wiped and done a clean install and its worked fine here... booted straight up without any issues

Yeah I noticed that the quicksettings menu doesn't show on first boot, but it does show once you've rebooted, flashed gapps, don't know why that is, but it does work... trust me... maybe you have to let the rom settle in for a few minutes, I've been using it all day and had no issues with drop down menu

PA is only for jellybean (v20) baseband. If you are on ics (v10) baseband flash v20 baseband from here
First Time Install:
Boot Into Recovery
Backup your current rom on external sd card
Format everything other then Sd card
(Full format is must needed when you flash PA 1st time)
Flash PA.zip
Flash PA gapps
Reboot
Upgrading:
Boot into Recovery
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Flash PA.zip
Reboot

why dont you use cm 10.1 as base... coz i think its more stable

cm10.1 source is heavly modified by PecanCM, so its a lot easier to follow the development in cm 10.2 and port it to aospa.
porting 10.1 would have probably the same bugs as 10.2
i'm shure it will be quite stable soon
