I am synced with Google calendar! but if u mean to download google calander app then i dont have google calander app! Are you suggesting to use google calander app

There are many nice calander apps on the market. Just use one of them that would be simpler.
JDEVIL LK7 ROM

Can somebody please get the apk from 4.1.1 version. i would appreciate it,.

Free Calendar app

Is there a free Calendar app that has a 4x4 widget that syncs with google calendar...
Struggling to find one that works on my nexus
Stret
Personally I'm using the default Calender widget. You can resize it to 4x4. It's not as good as Simple Calender Widget but until that is fixed for ICS it's better than nothing.

You learn something every day, I did not know you could re-size widgets.
Ive succesfully done that but it just shows today, can you change the view to a monthly calendar?
Thanks though mate, appreciated
No prob. Glad to to help.
I don't see any way to change the display settings of the Calender widget though. Seems like it's stuck like that.

Have you tried Jorte? I don't know if it's updated for ICS yet, but it's my go-to calendar. You can display the whole month in a 4x3 or 4x4, with your calendar entries actually spelled out, instead of just a dot that you have to zoom in on to see what it is. Pure Calendar Widget also does this, but is widget only, and costs $2.99 in the market.
Android pro widgets is really clean.. Also it includes a nice timeline style widget with both Facebook and twitter!
I recommend the paid version.. Some good themes.
Edit: forgot I was still in galaxy Nexus forums.. Not sure if it is ics compatible.

Looking for lock screen app to show my next calendar appointment

FYI - Device is not rooted
Widget locker will let you put a calendar widget on your lock screen.
Sent from my SGH-T999
I think I saw this option in the JB leak. Anyone confirm?

I use widget locked and place the minimalistic text widget for calendar
type R-blood
What are some other alternative locks screens I feel like Widget locker is just getting so lazy, They haven't updated the icons in forever!

I need one that only comes up when needed, not like the WL that stays there even if you don't have any calendar appointments.

---- Missing Calendar Widgets in ADW Launcher ----

For some reason, the Calendar widgets that come with the application are missing in ADW Launcher. The only one that shows up is the simple Calendar widget that lists the upcoming events. They other 2 missing ones are the tan color full calendar and mini calendar.
Is it that they are only meant for Touchwiz? What can I do to get them in ADW?
Thanks in Advance!

You can try Business Calendar by Appgenix. It has several widget options, although not as nice looking as the TW calendar widget.

you have to try with stock calendar from google..
it's simple and graphically consistent with Android
I use Jorte for my calendar widget and have the Samsung calender shortcut on the desktop next to it.

Tw calendar is based on tw launcher we can't add it on any other launcher. It sucks but thats life. Ps for the future please for the sake of god!!!!! When we get cm10 we can't get any tw features. . Just fyi.. not say your doing this just hate seeing threads and post for the same thing..
But yeah even the weather and clock widget cant be added.. you can find other things to make it look cool. Its just built into the framework

[Q] S Planner?

Does the i317 have S Planner? I've done some searching and it looks like most people have this app, but I don't. I only have Calendar (with the green icon, which is the Samsung version, whereas the Google version is blue). I'm running stock 4.1.2 so I don't know why I have something different. I do have an Exchange Account added, but I can't imagine that would change the name of the app. Any ideas folks?
The whole reason I even started looking into this is I wanted a Tasks widget, which is missing from the version of Calendar I have. I only have widgets for Mini Today and Month.
Thanks guys!

Not sure what you are talking about. I have S planner and it has a green icon. I am running CleanRom 4.0.5 which is Android 4.1.2. S planner is the samsung calendar app with the green icon.
I don't have S Planner. I have Calendar instead. Do you have a Tasks widget? If so I'll switch to Cleanrom asap.

You you mean the s planner widget? That, I believe, is only available with Touchwiz launcher. I just downloaded another ROM to test out on my extra Note and it did have the S planner widget, which is basically the s planner calendar on the screen and they had an s planner widget that listed the day's activities.
There is a modification somewhere here to add the s planner widget but again, I believe you have to use the stock launcher.

Lockscreen Note Widget on Unrooted Note 2

Hi,
First of all sorry for being a noob. And my problem is, is there any way for me to put a note/todo widget on the lockscreen of my note 2 running jelly bean 4.1.2, unrooted. Please let me know if there is a way to get there..
Thanks
Lock screen widgets are introduced in Android 4.2, so we don't have them yet. Wait till samsung releases 4.2 version update to our Note 2
Try go locker it has option for lock screen widget. Don't know exactly for note widget

Thanks for the quick response; by the way, i had tried go locker but it seems to be complicating the lockscreen as a whole.. The widgets are placed as a seperate page which makes us swipe from the lock screen to view the widgets. That itself ruins the sense of lockscreen widget i think. We could use that very simple swype on the stock lockscreen to get the whole homescreen with all the widgets. So this sort of idea made me uninstall go locker. I just want to be reminded of my next hr todo s whenever i try to use my phone. So here i think a wait till 4.2 is the only way out rite?...
